What is the Iron Legion?
The Iron Legion is a militaristic order of force-sensitives, who have pledged their blades in service to the Iron Empire. Comprised of force-users from a wide-spectrum (Jedi, Neutral, and Dark Jedi), theirs is an atypical order. One united by the common-goal of protecting the Empire, and its people. They do not adhere to the light, nor to the dark. They are as Iron: rigid, with a strong sense of duty and justice.

What are their duties?
The Iron Legion's duties are many, but all ultimately serve to protect the Empire. They are a fluid-branch, one that is able to fulfill many roles within the Empire. There are those who aid the Military in combat. Those who seek to support the Empire through technological, and scientific, advancement. And some who seek only to keep the peace.

What is their rank structure?
The warriors of the Iron Legion are separated into four ranks:
The Iron Auxiliary are the lowliest of the order: a legionnaire in training. They are sent to the icy-world of Ilum. There, within the fortress-monastery Iron Pantheon, they begin training to hone their abilities. When judged ready by their master, the Auxiliary would undertake a difficult trial. One designed to test all that they have learned. If successful, they would be risen to the rank of Iron Centurion.
The Iron Centurion stands a legionnaire proper. Both a teacher, and a warrior, the Centurion would take on as many Auxiliaries as they see fit. They would guide them. Mold them. Cultivate the future of the Legion. When deemed ready by an Iron Legate, the Centurion would undertake far more grueling trials, then that of the Auxiliary. If successful, they would rise as an Iron Legate.
The Iron Legate is the highest rank obtainable by warriors of the Iron Legion. It is a title given only to those who have shown exceptional devotion, honour, wisdom, and battle prowess. Under the Iron Praetor, they lead the Legion's many endeavors.
The Iron Praetor is a title bestowed upon the leader of the Iron Legion. They are an Iron Legate, above all Iron Legates. They are an embodiment of the Legion's values, and an example for all Legionnaires to follow. It is their will that shapes the legion, and guides its future.
The title is currently held by former-Jedi Master: Gaius Aurelius (NPC).

Sub-Units
The Iron Inquisition
Led by Crown Prince Reinhard Baelor, the Iron Inquisition is a sub-unit of the Iron Legion, which specializes in anti-Sith operations. The most brutal of the Legion, and utterly without mercy, they are charged with rooting out the vile corruption of the Sith, and destroying any trace of it within the Iron Realm.
