History​

The Hutt Cartel is far from its glorious past when the Hutt dominated the vast area of space still called "hutt Space." Because of the Hutt civil war and several prominent leading Hutts abandoning the old ways and siding with other criminal syndicates the Cartel in a self-destructive spiral lost almost all of its combined power in the galaxy.
Individual Hutts still manage large personal organizations and many even hold prominent positions within other enterprises but the Cartel itself is severely diminished. Even the Home World of Nal Hutta and the valuable hutt moon, Nar Shadda, slowly slipped away from the grasp of the Hutts.

Now, those Hutts who still hold to the old believs and still seek to re-build an Empire as vast and powerful as the ancient one are stirring. Plotting to find their roots once more they carefully reach out to each other in support. It was in such a meeting between Sempra Besadii Dhakun and the more famous hutt [member="Mongo Booshi Mella"] that Sempra finally decided to announce the existance of a new Hutt Cartel to draw upon the old hutt ways.

The Hutt Cartel is recruiting!​

The Cartel is leaning heavily on its criminal activites and seek to expand this as a mean to a greater end. You can be part of the Cartel in various roles. For non-hutts there are several ways to approach the Cartel:

The Cartel depends heavily on Contractors or bussiness Associates to perform their various needs across the galaxy. These are often smugglers or Bounty hunters called in for specific jobs, some more attuned with the Hutt bases others coming and going with the flow of cash.
There is also a small but growing personal guard of the Hutts called Hutt Enforcers that have closer loyalties with the Hutts then most temporary allied. Their more military position makes them function as Soldiers and body guards of the hutts.

The larger the hutt operation gets the more administrative duties are also necessary. The possibility of a career is very much possible in the Cartel and the Hutts strive to expand in such a away that they appoint leaders of gangs and duties depending on their personal reasources.
The hutts even tend to take personal non-hutt servants as their closest advisor and chief of operations known in Huttese as the "Major Domo" - who is often acting as the very voice of the hutt himself.

Hutts interested in restoring the ancient dominion of the Hutts have a given role in the faction.

Faction facts​

This is a minor faction starting up from scratch. There is no real Connection with previous attempts to join the hutts in a common body and this faction is most likely going to be an underdog compared to the major criminal factions, such as the Red Ravens, in the Chaos community.
With that in mind the goal is to create a vast Empire in the Hutt image, but it is perhaps not likely to reach that goal sometime soon, or perhaps never. Either way, if you want in on the ride and attempt to solidify this classical part of the star wars universe you are welcome to apply to the Hutt Cartel.

I try to find RP outside of the faction at all times so I will definately try to remember this offer as well. (Heading off to vaccation for a week so its a dry spot here.)

Otherwise - the easiest way to get jobs = Sign up as a Cartel Contractor and you will have access to the jobs we need. A contractor is someone free to go and come in the Cartel and the contractor may also take whatever jobs outside the cartel - although most are tied to the cartel in debt/loyalty somehow (freely or not). And they are not allowed to work for the competition (We are too small to habve any real enemies yet but I gess we will end up there sooner or later) Hutts are grumpy about their assets turning against them...
