It was a morning time on Crystalsong, but unlike a typical morning, the weather was awful. It was raining, though not constantly, and the sun was blocked by clouds. Maria, the Witch of Arx Mortis, was enjoying her morning coffee on the Balcony of Hope. There was a throne on the balcony and that's where she sat. She had but one plan for this day. Other than that, her day was full of laziness and doing nothing. Or she could do some useful stuff in order to either improver herself or gain influence. Either way would have been great for her.

Ah... What a delicious coffee...

It was a typical Crystalsong warm drink which barely resembled real coffee. But still, it was good and many people on the planet seemed to drink it. At least the colonies did. She hadn't heard about any natives drinking it, even though they had invented it.

But there was no time to think about such meaningless little things.

She was supposed to meet a person soon. She was called Ashelotte or something like that; Maria hadn't memorized her name. And she was supposed to come and help Maria with some training. There were so many aspects of the Force she had yet to study. And Healing was one of them. She had heard, that Sith Healing was kind of destructive, actually, and that Jedi Healing was the purest of them. But she may have been wrong. Because she was no Master in the Force.

What an interesting day it will be.

It was about to start raining again, but the woman didn't care. She admired the beauty of this gorgeous planet; the crystal forest she saw from the balcony emitted light, native fauna wandered around the place, slaves were working already.

Could it get any more beautiful?

Rain followed the Reaper of Crystalsong as the Diva of Mandalore passed Arx Mortis overhead. Minutes later, Ashe was escorted to the Witch of Arx Mortis herself, [member="Maria Zambrano"]. The family name was familiar, as it was that of her mortal enemy, Kaine Zambrano. From the day she heard his name and what he'd made of her now-fiance, she swore she'd kill him the moment her eyes fell upon him. Now, of course, she was smarter than she was before. She could stand to wait, but she still bore the soul of his unborn child within her and a deep hatred for all of his kin. This would have been especially true for Maria, who might one day contest her for control of Crystalsong, but a new satellite was in the works that would change it all. If not for anything else, to simply befriend a member of her target and thusly disjoin their operations, it made it worth the while. From Malfrost to Arx Mortis she made her way.
In the young vixen's grasp was the Nameless Blade, arms wrapped around its radiant shaft and butt of blade resting over left shoulder. She wore her usual black silk blouse with its floral-brocade sash draping down one side to her ankles, black and white platform high-heels, polka dot alternating stockings and every ring or amulet she possessed. On her right hand was her own crushgaunt with its steel-brazen claws, concealing her Shaper hand and the weapons it carried within. Finally, slit golden eyes peered up upon the adorable little throne, a vampiric gaze spreading over Maria. Pale lips spoke up.
"You needed me, mistress...?" she said quizzically.
The two hadn't been formally introduced - her name eluded Ashelotte.

The voice was heard by the Witch of Arx Mortis, and so she turned to the woman who had just come. Her appearance was not something Maria had expected, but she was no one to judge that. People had their own styles and maybe her clothing, hairstyle, and everything was determined by the culture of the species she was a member of.

"Ah, so you are the person who I requested to teach me some powers?" the lady of the citadel spoke, majestically rising up from the throne at the same time. Her black dress which had a v-neck and ended nearly at her knees was as clean and free of wrinkles as possible. Because she cared about her looks. With slow but considerably long steps, she moved towards the Ashelotte, stopping at only five metres from her.

"Welcome to Arx Mortis, by the way!"

Ashelotte humbly bowed. "Thank you. It truly is remarkable."
It was not too different from Castle Malfrost, in that it was grand and reflected off the natural beauty of Crystalsong itself. There were so few worlds that could rival in in this respect.
Ashe took one step closer.
"Word travels fast through the aristocracy of Crystalsong. I hear you needed a healer? I may teach you - but..." she paused, hesitantly. "I've never taught another before, and I cannot take especially to a Lady such as yourself. Who you are matters not, only what you cand or can't do. I'm ready when you are."
The foxtress smiled. Such a small thing, she was, to be able to teach others when she seemed but a child herself to some. Ashe was no child, and even her body was biologically in its early forties.

Alright, so who I am doesn't matter... OK, I can manage that.

"I am ready for the training. Healing has been an interest of mine for some time now, so..." Maria spoke, but then stopped. She realised she had been talking too much. An Apprentice, a student, shouldn't talk that much. Never. But whatever, she couldn't take her words back anymore.

"Forgive me for being so talkative," she whispered, not too much expecting the woman, or girl, to hear her, but more to make herself feel a bit better. She then turned around and walked a bit towards the throne, in order to take a cloak she had left on it. The cup of coffee remained on the throne's right armrest.
