The Full Reach of Law (GA Dominion of Atrisia)​

You receive a priority alert on your data pad. A cadre of Sith warships have been spotted in orbit around Atrisia. SIS agents report more are on the surface. Task Force Fondor is already engaged in a tense standoff with ships which refuse to identify themselves. Two hours ago, Alliance leadership gave the command to halt the attempted retreat of any known enemy vessel in the area.

In short, a planetary blockade.

The rules of engagement flash across the screen: fire if fired upon.

Enemy assets include a Wyyrlok Star Destroyer, a Panathan flotilla with an Immortal-class dreadnought, a Kevn-class star destroyer accompanied by two cruisers, and a Chimaera-class star destroyer escorted by three corvettes.

Objective 1: Join Alliance assets in blockading the planet and preventing any ships from leaving the planet.

Objective 2: Arrest or eliminate high value Sith targets on planet.

We are currently in the midst of a new Dominion for Atrisia. For those who are interested in joining, feel free to join in any of the following areas:



1. Boarding shuttle attacking the enemy ships.


2. Starfighter helping the boarding shuttles

3. Naval crewmember on board a ship in Task Force Fondor.

4. Planetary repossession force. ( Includes GAG and SIS elements. NJO will start at Dulvoyinn and move to Atrisia in an attempt to capture Sith Warlords)

It might be because I wasn't around when they went in action, but I'm slightly confused as to Dominion rules, [member="Zark"], [member="Rhen Qel-Droma"], what Tier is the dominion? Is that sort of thing determined before it starts or does it just go up in Tiers as it gains more posts?

Tier 1 and the objectives are.

1. Blockade the Planet to keep the Sith from escaping.

2. Capture Sith hopefully trapped on the planet before they can escape.

It is a tier 1 and goes up to 100 posts.

However, here in the GA if the roleplay keeps going then we continue it until whatever tier the posts end up to.

So this could very well turn to a T2 or a Hex dom depending on participation.

Question... Does this effect the Barkhesh thread we are in? For example, is Dar'rak exempt from this because he is already in another thread? Wanted to ask how that worked exactly as I am still new to any rules that may have come up in my 3-ish year absence.

Unless specified otherwise the threads happen at different times. So you can jump into both dominions because they didn't happen at the same time Chaos timeline wise, they could be days or weeks apart, there are some threads, for example the last event we had, where you had to pick only one because there were multiple happening simultaneously in our timeline.

We have some options. We can go directly to Atrisia and go on the ground to try and help locals with any evacuations and help with moving to Inysh from atrisia.

Or would you like to go head to head with another acolyte to fight?

Or any other suggestions?

Well getting caught up on what has happened would be nice. I still have not hit the last page of posts yet. Though from what I gathered thus far, most of our fleet has retreated to varying locations to escape a giant space squid and thunderstorm. Not to mention the living pyroclastic flow on the surface of the planet itself.

I am down for some dueling as it is what Dar'rak excels at. Also not sure how helpful he'd be with medical treatment of others as that is not really his expertise. Though the evacuation does sound like a nice gesture just the same. I'd be happy going that route as well. Though I cannot use the Ebon Scale to transport since I have no data on it yet and the topic has started prior to my Factory Sub. Meaning Dar'rak is going to need alternate means of transportation.

How about you go in with the padawans and acolytes who would like to do some fighting and I can lead the ones who want to evacuate and secure any civilians?

That way we get the best of both worlds with two knights leading?

I think if I am taking Padawans into combat I may want to play this one more defensively though to keep an extra eye on the younglings who may not be as experienced. This may put me at a disadvantage I hope no Sith are able to read this.
