SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Enhances the allure of the user within a ten foot radius, making them seem desirable to those around them. This feeling is also temporary, however; this increases the chance for the user to make another their thrall for thirty seconds

  • Allows the user to channel the desire of others (so long as others desire the user) into their force reserve, at the cost of their sanity.

  • Those who wield this crystal will have a need to be desired, to be wanted and without those feelings they feel weakened, drained and will turn to anger.

Strengths:

  • Allure: Increases the allure of the user, allows them to appear more desirable than they already are. Works to capture or glamour someone as a thrall for thirty seconds, only works once on each person.

  • Intensity: The sapphire burns brighter and hotter than most crystals giving it added bonus to its cutting power.

  • Finesse: When used as a lightsaber crystal the blade is thinner than most, meaning those with more dexterity than strength will find the crystal to be of great use.
Weaknesses:

  • Rage: Users of this crystal as a lightsaber will find that when they are no longer the object of desire that their rage and anger begins to burn. Turning into a swift, vengeful jealous rage - one that can be all consuming. The rage may turn them murderous becoming a danger to both those around them, and themselves.

  • Energy: This crystal lives and draws energy from living beings, almost like a parasite. This is most common among force users who actively use the crystal as part of a lightsaber. When combat is over the user will feel fatigued, withdrawn and exhausted in both physical and force abilities.

  • Corruption: Can be corrupted by the light, while desire and lust might go hand in hand. Love can conquer all, it is the feeling of love and the power of love that can turn the crystal from darkness to light changing it into a white-pink blade.
DESCRIPTION
Somewhere beneath the depths of sinful clubs, and wasteful splendor lies a growth of sapphires. Colored in the shade of the very species that inhabit Zeltros. As a gem it glistens and often is used in jewelry with little effect except perhaps to make someone more desirable. It is said that a ring or necklace with the gem makes it easier to charm others, and those that use it as such will find that they become more self absorbed. Vanity, and jealously often becoming the downfall of those who bear the sapphire.

In recent months, it has been discovered that the rare few who dare to use this as a lightsaber crystal will find that these attributes are amplified. In addition the blade that it bore burned with a higher intensity and was thinner than traditional blades. Leaving those with more dexterity the ability move more with their finesse as opposed to brute strength.

Mishel Zanteres found the crystal while on the planet visiting [member="Joza Perl"]’s nightclub. As she was leaving she felt something within the force pull her to it. As it happened a tunnel that ran deep beneath the club led her to a cracked open portion of the tunnel wall and there within a cave filled with the sapphires had been found. She waited a few moments before taking a few for herself.

It is up to the writers (players) to decide whether or not to become enthralled; nor can this be used to force writers (players) to take hits.

Mostly looks good to go. Solid concept, well balanced. My only request is that you place a disclaimer in there somewhere that states that it's up to the writers of player characters to decide whether or not they're enthralled, and that it can't force them to take the hit. How you word it is up to you, but it'll save everyone a lot of future headaches if we get that out of the way off the bat.
