The Assembly (Silver Jedi)

jedi_temple_light_and_dark_2_by_witch_king_42.jpg

With the recent departure of Sorel from the post of Grandmaster, and Coci's retirement as Master of the Order, the Silver Jedi Order was leaderless. In their place, a new Assembly had been formed to lead the Silver Jedi in the interim until a new Grandmaster and Master could be chosen.

While there was no chief of the Assembly per se, Arisa had taken it upon herself as one of the more active Masters to initiate the selection process. She felt the Silver Order needed to move on this matter as quickly as possible as they were still in active engagements with the Sith. The Sith wouldn't be taking any breaks, and would likely try to exploit this moment of instability.

So the assembly was called, but Arisa had opened up discussions to all active Masters and Senior Knights within the order. She figured if they were with the Silver Order at this point, they must be of some decent character fit to voice their opinions.

Arisa would be one of the first to arrive at the gathering, hosted inside of the auditorium of Voss Academy, dressed sharply in the black service dress of the Kiribian military. Since General Isard had been relieved of her post as the commander of the Antarian Rangers, Arisa had resigned from her position as
Kiribi's Watchman to assume command. Already, there were massive changes underway to improve the fighting effectiveness of not only the Rangers, but the local planetary forces allied with the Silver Jedi. Her policy was one to finally get the people under their protection more involved in helping the Silver Jedi provide for their defense, making each other all the better for it in the process of deeper collaboration.

She felt a twinge of sadness as she took her seat, looking at the empty chair that Sorel had once occupied during the last gathering while she was still Grandmaster. Since Sorel's split with the Silver Jedi, Arisa hadn't heard much of anything from her. Despite their disagreements about the future of the Silver Jedi, she wished for nothing but the best for Sorel in whatever she did now. Though it was her hope that someday they would be reunited once more.

(If I missed any other SJO Masters/Knights in my tags, then feel free to just pop in. I mostly pulled the old list from the previous assembly thread for selecting the Master of the Order.)

Once more he had been called to action. He'd hoped last time he set foot in these halls would indeed have been the last time, but such was not his luck. It would seem the Order was not done with neither him nor his wife, in spite of their efforts to retire to a more relaxed way of living focused on their homestead on Midvinter. Yet again they'd arrived with their baby boy, still not feeling comfortable leaving him with others caring for the lad. He looked to Coci walking beside him, as she always had and always would, and the toddler swaddled against her chest.

It was with heavy heart the two Jedi Masters attended this meeting. Sorel had been their chosen successor, yet now the Order found itself without someone to lead them due to philosophical differences. This did not diminish his respect for the young woman and her strong beliefs, however, and he wished her nothing but luck and happiness in the times to come. Perhaps one day she would find her way back to them, and he hoped to be there to welcome her.

"Arisa," he greeted the atrisian with a humble bow, skipping past any titles. Despite his less-than joyous mood, Thurion offered her a soft smile which soon vanished into thin air as he laid eyes on the Grandmaster's chair. How he dreaded and loathed the old thing, now that it stood there empty yet so alluring for anyone inclined to the idea. It made him feel so very old and jaded - a clear sign that it was long overdue to let these younger minds to take over.

"Thank you for taking the reins on assembling this meeting. We need to nip this void in the bud before the Sith learn of it; we certainly don't want them to grow any bolder."

Since before the previous change of Grandmaster, Tempest had dwelled among the Dominion. She had not met the one who held the position of Jedi Grandmaster of the Silver Jedi prior to her absence; he or she had ignored Tempest as she stood and knocked at their door. The action only reinforced the Knight's personal feelings that the position of Grandmaster is not one to be appointed without long meditation as in the old days, and with so many Jedi sects divided by differences in Dogma, the old ways are far from being achieved. There cannot be more than one true Grandmaster. Until sects unite from across the Galaxy, we may never know who he or she the Force chooses.

As for spending time with the Dominion, Tempest wanted to get to know the group, and found the Archlord quite intriguing. He seemed very kind and protective. His ability to perform Battle Meld however, and never having killed anyone with his own hands during battle, secretly disturbed her. He put the guilt of mass slaughter entirely on the shoulders of those who served him. He also sought more power through hoping to covet ancient artifacts and powerful relics. He planned to form an independent Jedi Council among the Light aligned members of the Dominion, yet did not associate himself as a Jedi. Tempest hoped to learn more about him.

The Knight was on the yacht she inherited from her Late Jedi Master, while a call to assemble came through from the Silver Order. She had not been back to Voss since she met those of the Dominion. She does not know where she belongs, only she goes where she feels lead. Sometimes she makes a mark, sometimes she simply learns from what unfolds around herself.

Tempest dressed in her typical attire, like a young lady on holiday, stood on the steps of the gathering place and peeked into the doorway at those inside.

She arrived, perhaps surprised to be called to such a meeting as she still barely considered herself worth being the rank of knight, she'd been wanting to spend more time with her padawan really to train her but this now called her attention. As she approached she bowed to the others here and took a place set for her. She for now remained quiet until things got started or she was spoken to. The Knight as usual in her green jedi robes over her customized armor. The Corellian for now stood silently listening. She noted Tempest and tried not to roll her eyes at the knight who wile best she knew was not a bad person her having a karking yacht gave the more classical knight a ting of annoyance. She traveled with far less and now some Jedi had entire darn businesses. yeah she liked them running governmental stuff jsut to avoid the silliness of normal governments but the being rich for richness sake was a thing she never was going to get used to.

The whole situation had been unfortunate, but such is life and it was time for them all to move. And so Thurion and Coci had been summon to Voss once more in order to elect the leaders of the Order. This was serious business and many had been asked to attend and hopefully many more would come.

She entered the room next to her husband who had held the mood of displeasure the entire trip from Midvinter. Although she tried her best to help lessen the mood, hers was not much better and so she failed. However, Thirdas did not mind in the slightest, in fact even at this young age he loved the ship and he would not help but marvel at the stars before the jump to hyperspace and even that made him squeal with delight.

"Arisa it is good to see you well", she greeted the young woman before her before turning her attention to the others that had gathered here. "Catherine, greetings .. and Tempest I believe?", she had only see this young lady among the halls of the Temple months before this meeting. Once the greetings had come to a natural conclusion, Coci waited for the proceedings to begin.

She stood up from her seat as Thurion and Coci had arrived, a show of respect for her predecessors who had recently retired from service. She could feel that she shared his sadness as she followed his eyes to the empty Grandmaster's seat. Sorel had been a friend to Arisa, but perhaps much more for Thurion as he and Coci had entrusted her with the task of leading the next generation of Silver Jedi. At this point, Sorel had been a very gifted individual, but she simply hadn't been ready to assume the role of Grandmaster, a role which involved a great deal of realpolitik that she wouldn't accept.

"
Thurion," she replied with a small nod, the fellow Master also skipping past formalities. "I agree, which is why I called for this meeting as soon as I could. There's not only the Sith of Korriban that we need to deal with now. The Dominion may have just opened a big can of worms in their bid for expansion, and we may be left dealing with the fallout."

A few times, she had come to the aid of the fledgling empire as their interests aligned with hers as
Kiribi's Watchman at the time, most recently during their failed campaign against a resurgent Primeval. She had looked into becoming more involved in the project to cultivate a new alliance to combat groups hostile to the Silver Jedi, but she had a hard time reconciling the fact that they too were imperialists under the influence of Sith. Now they had angered the Mandalorians, making them radioactive in geopolitical terms. If Arisa never saw another Mandalorian again, it would be too soon.

"Coci," she said as she turned her attention on the former Master of the Order. Agitation could be a word to describe what she felt from Coci. No doubt that it was frustrating continuously being pulled back to Voss so soon after retirement, but such was the life of a Jedi. None of them, in good conscience, could ever completely let go of their sense of duty.

Thirdas was with the couple, impossibly cute but given the gravity of the situation, she didn't reach out for the infant like she had previously. Maybe there would be time for small talk and socializing later, now wasn't the time at this critical juncture.

A few Knights had also arrived. Catherine, and Tempest. Like many Corellians, Catherine was something of a hothead, but usually meant well. Tempest was still very much an enigma to Arisa, but the woman seemed quite capable. She knew that Tempest, along with a few other Silvers, had spent some significant time with the Dominion as of late. Very soon, she was going to debrief all of them to figure out the inner workings of the Dominion, and also see if they had been compromised. Jedi within the Dominion were just a little too close to Sith for her blood.

"Catherine, Tempest, thank you both for attending today. Catherine, if you so choose, then you may participate in deliberations when we get there, but I welcome feedback from you both."

[member="Coci Heavenshield"] [member="Catherine Soja"] [member="Tempest Yore"] [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

Tempest entered through the archway the first instance her presence was acknowledged. She tapped the toe of one foot behind the heel of the other, a quick bob to her bodice as she nodded, rendering the Masters a quick curtsy. She noted Master Syn was not present, and planned to inquire about him later, hoping he is well.

When Master Yune mentioned the Dominion has opened up a can of worms upon the Galaxy, Tempest's eyes narrowed just a tad and an ever so light tisk escaped her lips. 'What the hell is this?' she thought. Or perhaps they did not know that her Master had died and left her his ship for her own use. Maybe they thought they were calling him directly to attend their meeting? A man who was well know to have been in hospice, and comatose?! No. They knew Tempest would receive the message and she would come in his stead. But how did they actually learn she was hanging around with the Dominion? She wondered about this for only a millisecond, for there had been other Jedi among the Dominion; 'that's how alright.'

The other Knight present was welcome to join in the deliberation, and Tempest was excluded right from the start. 'Oh, crap.' Just what do they think she is guilty of? She is a Jedi who met the Archlord. Well, he is cute! And he was always nice to her. She is not any accomplice to whatever they think he has done. Well she sure a heck didn't see this coming, nor does she know how it will end.

She hopes she has it all wrong. The group did not call her back here to trick her. Wouldn't that be most ducky?! 'Smile, Tempest! Smile..' Afterall, she is the proverbial wall flower, not shy but immoveable. Tempest doesn't catch anyone else's attention.

Kurayami had taken his time to return after the unfortunate leaving of Sorel. He would not deny that he had great respect for her convitions, though he disagreed with some of them. She had taken the course she felt best for her and he could only hope that she would find continued success in her future endeavors. This assembly had been called by one [member="Arisa Yune"], admittedly a name he was only familiar with in passing. Granted most of the Silver Jedi were only familiar with him to the same degree if they even knew who he was. He had been out getting a feel for his new sstrike fighter, it was quite a bit slower and not nearly as maneuverable as what he was accustomed to, but it was a good balance with the loadout.

As he let his mind wander over the best way to work with the craft, he found himself wondering what the assembly was for in the end. As he made his way in he could feel the swirling emotions in the room. He took a deep breath as he stepped into the gathering. The old helmet and flight jacket still bore the symbol of Aquila, with the sand yellow 13 visible on the side of the helm, on his hands were crushgaunts, worn black utility slacks with first class Corellian bloodstripes, and black combat boots that though polished only had a dull sheen left.

He removed the old helmet as he got closer t o the group as a whole. Just looking at him would have made one think that he was naught but a spacer, a fact reinforced by the A180 blaster pistols hanging at his side. His lightsaber was strangely able to be seen for once, hanging from the left side slightly behind the holstered pistol. why it was visible now was up for debate, as was whther he realized such or not. Holding the helmet in his left hand he bowed slightly towards Arisa a small smile able to be seen.

"I apologize if I am late Arisa, the message took longer than expected to arrive. I should hope I have not missed anything of import."

He did recognize [member="Thurion Heavenshield"], as well as [member="Coci Heavenshield"] as the former Grandmaster and Master of the Order. He had never spent much time socializing amongst the others, a choice that on the surface may have seemed as though it would hinder him, but given his odd disposition towards Force Bonds, it was truly for the best that he keep his distance. He smiled towards [member="Catherine Soja"] and [member="Tempest Yore"] as well, not able to place a name to the faces at this time.

Unfortunate events were unfortunate. Very shortly after Sorel Crieff had been promoted to the position of Grand Master, she had left the Silver Jedi Order. Had the same happened with most other people in the galaxy, he might have suspected the actions were to gain insight into the inner workings and most detailed knowledge of the Order for use outside it. But this was Sorel. He didn't know her well by any means, but he did know that wasn't her.

Not long after word of Sorel's abdication had filtered down, a request for the general Assembly to convene came through. Audren had been in the Core at the time, going over the stages of the newest facility being built. The proposed timing had been cutting it close, especially considering the turbulence in the span between Silver Jedi space and where he'd been. He'd managed to make it however, and without looking or smelling like he'd been sitting in a cramped cockpit for the past few days. He wore his typical Jedi robes with his lightsaber on his right hip and an incongruous metal cylinder along the back of his belt. No sidearms this time.

The Sephi entered the room as Arisa Yune - the Master who'd called the Assembly - spoke of the Dominion potentially opening a can of worms. He'd had a brush with the Dominion not long before in the Chiloon Rift. Tangential at best, he'd seen the barest edges of a tussle between the resurgent Primeval and the larger Dominion while involved in preliminary prospecting. He'd initially planned on getting involved, but had backed off as things escalated. He knew they had Jedi present and others as well, but that was about the extent of his knowledge. More interesting to him was the emotion that one of the women nearby gave off as the words were registered...a sense of affront to some degree. It was telling.

Several were already present. Arisa of course, having called the meeting, and Coci and Thurion. The latter had been who the Dominion comment was directed at. Kurayami had arrived steps before him, and there were two Knights also present, one of which he knew to be Catherine Soja. Each of the Masters had been present at the previous Assembly as well, and more. Here's hoping that more showed up, only half of the Assembly was currently present. He stayed silent as he entered. Nothing needed saying at this point.

As she nodded to those here she looked to Bloodborn whom she'd never met before. "With respect master please tell me you are Corellian, cause if your not and wearing those marks we are gonna have to chat later." She said no hostility in her voice jsut perhaps protection for what of her own culture remained. She then looked to the others. "Thank you for allowing me to speak master yune, I find it strange however i was even invited. I'm in a room with people who vastly out rank me. I only recently took my first padawan. I guess I feel under ranked to be present. let alone the one knight allowed to speak."

A general broadcast had been issued to the Jedi on Voss and those that were deployed to return for an assembly to be held to elect or appoint a new Grand Master. Only the current masters would have a real voice in the deliberations, the knights were invited to observe and offer their views. Each person was able to speak and be heard, but the power truly was with the masters.

Jairdain approached the auditorium and saw a small gathering of people. She knew about half of them, gave each a nod and quietly took a seat in the room.

Hearing the words of Master Yune and having spent a bit of time with the Dominion. She understood this can of worms the master spoke of. While her own interactions with the Sith within the Dominion had been limited, her own opinion on them was pretty set in stone. Her people had dealt with darksiders in a very decisive manner and left none alive. While that might not be something she would give voice to, it was how she felt.

Even her interactions with the Jedi of the Dominion had been very limited and she didn't know more than one or two on a personal level. However, she had been knighted by one of them and earned her respect. It was not her place to seek that out, but she had been tested and had passed the trial set in her path. So now here she was among the knights and masters of the Silver Jedi.

Sitting quietly, Jairdain decided to sit and listen until there was a need for her to speak.

Jakkor Kess had returned from self-imposed Exile and so the young Knight decided to come to this meeting. He had known nothing of what had happened in the order, although it would be good to see what was happening with his friend, [member="Arisa Yune"] He had so far heard the rumors, that the Jedi were in need of both a Master of the Order, and even a new Grand Master, but had no idea what would happen, he was, however, curious at how this would all play out in the long run, he watched through the lens of his tusken mask at how everything would occur within the temple, he had approached the auditorium with slight caution as he bowed to both Arisa and other Masters in attendance, hence what he was taught when he was a part of the Old Republic's Jedi Order centuries ago. He took his seat watching everyone not saying a word and keeping to himself.

@Jairdain @Catherine Soja [member="Audren Sykes"] [member="Kurayami Bloodborn"] [member="Tempest Yore"] [member="Coci Heavenshield"] [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]

Kurayami's eyes narrowed slightly at [member="Catherine Soja"] when she made her remark. Anger flashed in his gaze for a moment before it was gone. His gaze softened quickly and the anger that had been clear on his features seconds ago was replaced by a smirk that would have answered the question asked without him saying a word. He nodded though, a small chuckle escaping him before he replied.

"First one who has dared to ask, gotta respect having the guts to do so kid. Born and raised in Coronet City, former CDF. The stripes came after I left Corellia, but during an op with the government. That is all I am at liberty to disclose, records are sealed, if they even exist still. Only one word of advice, careful who you ask and how."

During the quick exchange he took note of the others whom had entered, recognizing only [member="Audren Sykes"] upon first glance, and sketched a quick bow in their direction. How this would all go down was going to be interesting to see, that much he had no doubt of.

The light side permeated through the auditorium, filling its expanse in a dull warmth. Cordial chatter echoed through its vast hall with niceties thrown back and forth from person to person. Among it all stood a peculiar entity; shrouded in the mystical aura of the force, as most individuals in the room were, but neither light nor dark radiated from this being. Rather, light and dark were in constant turmoil within him; a fact only the most sensitive of force users could witness. Standing tall in the robes and armour of a Sith Warrior of old, the entity observed. His presence was new to Voss; his allegiance to the Silver Jedi recent.

Curious looks flicked over him, sometimes ones of slight contempt.

This man embodied all that the Jedi had fought for millennia; a Sith of pure blood. His crimson face stuck out like a sore thumb; his amber eyes were suspicious and harsh. Kaden understood this and took the side glances and disapproving murmurs on the chin.

The traditions and customs of the Jedi, particularly the Silver Jedi, were new to him. Knowing this, the Sith pureblood had requested permission to observe this assembly. He was keen to learn, intent on using the knowledge to ground himself in his new role as a Jedi and assist him in finding the light that existed within his inherently dark being.

There were whispers circulating around the Temple that a new Grand Master for the Jedi was being chosen. Yuroic had learnt that this was apparently an important event, there were other things mentioned but he hadn't paid much attention. He had decided to watch the ongoing decision, an insight into how these Jedi worked and how their leadership functioned would be perfect for Yuroic, who was completely still out of the know with Jedi, the Force and anything that wasn't smuggling crates from a ship and begging for food or stealing food when desperate. He moved quietly through the assembly and felt a sense of awe as he studied the building.

It was nothing like life on Nar Shaddaa, but then nothing from the Jedi seemed to bring memories back from his old life. Everything was beautiful here, peaceful and calm for the most part, Yuroic felt a connection with the people here that he hadn't felt in his entire life. He shook his head gently and looked over, near the middle of the hall were a number of Jedi. He licked his lips nervously, intimidating as they looked to him, he knew they would be friendly enough as so far everyone had been in this Temple but still. There was a lot of power coming from each of them. The strength of that power Yuroic had no idea but just from their body language, the way they held themselves, he knew they were more powerful than he was. He wondered what strength they would have in the Force if he could feel how strong their mere presence was to him.

He moved to a nearby pillar, watching the proceedings from afar as they happened. He remained silent and stood in the shadows, it was safe from unwanted gazing. His clothes were still grubby and looked moreso compared to everyone he saw in the room, some of them looked like royalty or at least wealthy beyond his wildest dreams. Yuroic sighed slightly as he felt a pang of embarrassment at his rough attire, it was tough having a constant reminder of your less than stellar background especially when you couldn't let change it but he was here and he was changing it. He was here, watching something no one back home would believe and that caused a gentle smile grace his lips.

It was then walking down these halls he couldn't help but feel a slight air of familiarity as well sadness. For it seems not too long ago that he came here so lost and unsure of who he was. A mere youth hiding in fear of the unknown past and the ability which for the most part plagues his every wake days. Feel himself cursed till she came.....Master Coci and with the other Master such as Syn, Maya guidance had led him to a better understanding of things. As he slowly seems come close to reclaim his past and for once feel the path before him a bit surer.

With much change and adventures or misadventure come his way had led him astray a few times. But still, he found his way back here till eventually, He found his way to somehow move a rank up and with how things transpire soon after. And he found himself move away draw to wander a bit till out the blue the message came.

Which lead him back here walk down the halls with seem room full of mix unfamiliar faces made him somewhat felt intimidating. Dress as he was in not so traditional robes of a wander or traveler. Made him unsure if he should till look around he caught glimpse of Master Coci for whom brought a smile on his face. As he slowly approached her and spoke...

"Greetings Master Coci...."

It has been seven years since Jessica last walked the Silver Temple on Voss, while being back from Dromund Kaas and stopping to make emergency repairs on Caluula. Back then she was just a padawan in her early stages of training, but she was much older than most - that were not from species that had species whose lifespans numbered well into the centuries or millenia even. Back then she was a lot more grounded in her knowledge base but also she realized that overwhelming knowledge alone is not enough to be effective as a Jedi. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge was a thing to her, but also There is no emotion, there is serenity, which are the two main tenets of the Jedi Code she holds most dear in practice. Upon entering the temple's premises, and more specifically the auditorium, she readily recognized [member="Jairdain"] and [member="Tempest Yore"] from the conclave on Eol Sha (and also their meetings on Trian and Ession respectively), [member="Catherine Soja"] and also had a vague impression of [member="Jakkor Kess"] dating back from even before she was a Jedi in the first place. But she never met face-to-face with [member="Arisa Yune"], much less [member="Thurion Heavenshield"], [member="Ronin Wendigo"], [member="Kurayami Bloodborn"], [member="Audren Sykes"], even though these were names she heard about back in her padawan days. And then, a flurry of new faces: [member="Yuroic Xeraic"], @Kaden.

"Greetings, masters, and other members of the Silver Jedi. I'm Jessica Med-Beq; some of you may recognize me after all these years, others served on Dromund Kaas alongside me. Now, I'm still too new to the Silver Jedi to actually be up for any of the two senior-most positions up for grabs, but I hope I'm not too late after emergency repairs had to be made on the Tenchu on Caluula"

"Not at all, Kurayami," she answered shaking her head. "We have yet to begin. I think it's prudent to wait a little longer for others to appear before we proceed."

Sure enough, more people did appear. Masters, Knights, and Padawan alike. They would fill the front rows of the auditorium in front of the platform where she and the other Masters and more senior Jedi now sat and stood.

Catherine would be among one of the Knights chosen to take part of the deliberations to come later. Arisa wasn't too familiar with the Corellian, but Catherine had been with the Order at least as long as she had, not too far off from becoming promoted to a Master herself. She would ask Arisa why she had been allowed to help choose the leaders of the Silver Order, which Arisa was only more than happy to answer.

"Well, Catherine, the Assembly works a little differently from a traditional council, where you would only see Masters. Anyone demonstrating sound leadership qualities may be a part of the Silver Assembly and help carry out its functions, regardless of rank or title. Even Non-Force Users are allowed to hold a position within the Assembly. I was only a Padawan myself when I began administering Klatooine as its Protector, but I had come to that post with about a decade's worth of executive experience from my time working with the military and the Senate of the Old Republic."

"You've been with the Silver Jedi for quite a while, and we trust your judgment in this matter."

It looked like just about everyone had assembled. Within the small crowd before the platform, she could pick out the familiar aura of her newest apprentice, Yuroic. She avoided turning her gaze upon him, for his sake as an anxious fellow, but she was glad he was here so that he may better understand the inner workings of the Silver Jedi. That was why she had arranged for the more open format of this particular Assembly, for greater transparency for the people the Assembly existed to serve.

"Alright," she said looking around at her fellow peers. "I think we can begin. I'll just be frank, we need strong leaders to guide the Silver Order during these perilous times where there is an unprecedented level of opposition. The attacks on Voss, Ossus, and
Midvinter were only the beginning. The Sith will continue to hound us and the people we protect until we make a stand. Not only by just reacting, but being more proactive to neutralize threats before they may arise. Coming from the Republic, I know exactly how things will end if we forever remain on the defensive."

"To that end, we not only need a leader who is strong, but also one who is pragmatic. One who is willing to see that doing good isn't just about being chaste or virtuous. We need someone who is willing to make those tough calls, who is willing to make compromises for the greater good. Conditions will never be ideal for us to pursue actions exactly the way we like, so we must remain willing to adapt. If we don't, then we will fail."

She leaned back in her seat after speaking her peace. Her personal philosophy was just about the polar opposite of a Sorel's who was much more orthodox in her views, like flowing water to hard stone.

Yurioc took a deep breath as he felt a calm wash over him, being near his Master was a helpful confidence builder. Though it was early in their training, Yuroic had already felt a bond form at least at his end. The meeting had begun and Yuroic moved forward, taking a bigger interest in the proceedings. Hm. This seems to be large gathering of Jedi... Yuroic thought it was interesting to see mix of people of different levels, from novices as himself to powerful Jedi like Arisa.

Hearing Arisa talk about the direction the Order needed to take, it gave him goosebumps, he was finding himself strongly agreeing with everything that she was saying. It was like the way gangs worked on Nar Shaddaa, they didn't want for the enemy to attack them because it made them look weaker, they had to be on the offensive showing their strength. Yuroic moved to closer spot and took a seat, no longer thinking about how others thought of him or saw him.

Yuroic leaned forward and held his hands together as he paid greater attention to the whole proceedings, his thumbs twiddling as he watched on. He started to relax as he waited for the next person to carry on after Arisa.

It was then that just as he was about approach Master Coci that from the front of the assembly a voice spoke. That made him pause to tilt his head slightly at her. Listen intently to her words while he silently contemplated what was said which for the most part. Was seem been quite a departure from what he once before.....brash and somewhat impulsive. Alway on the move and never been one to listen to anyone other than Master Coci whom he looked up to as one would family as alone he was when he first came here. Oh, how it seem much had change both in him as it had to those around since those time.

That his thought then turns seat himself on the farther side not too far from Master Coci who he wishes to speak with once the assembly was over.
