CONTENTS
  • Equivalent of 4 PB of storage space
  • Complete wireless capability
  • Extremely durable framework
Strengths:
  • Patented iSplat Durability: The iSplat has been designed to withstand extreme force and pressure - you can drop it off of the tallest building in Coruscant and have it land down in the deepest depths, and it will still play Hoth Mynocks to your heart's content! It is stab-proof, waterproof to 4000 m, excessively crush-resistant, acid-resistant, and with no moving parts or open ports, is extremely reliable.
  • Fully Wireless: The iSplat can wirelessly charge so long as it is nearby an electric current, can connect to wireless headphones up to 500 m away, and can download all forms of media without a wire necessary. With a battery life of 24 hours of constant usage!
Weaknesses:
  • Exaggerated Slightly: It's not actually indestructible, but the average layman will never come across any of the materials necessary to break it. While it is extremely hard to compress, it's easy enough to rip apart using the Force - about as difficult as ripping apart your standard com-link.
  • No Cloud Storage: Jak does not host any HoloNet servers - there's no online storage. If your media poofs, it's gone for good. Always run backups!

DESCRIPTION
  • The iSplat was created when Jak accidentally smashed one too many video players. Out of sheer frustration, he crammed together a few odds and ends, grumbling the while about 'planned obsolescence' and the like. When he was finally done, he had created the prototype for an extremely durable media player. It was an immediate success - a media player that would never break, never wear out, rarely run out of battery? It was... almost too good to be true. Not many people have purchased it (due to its rather high price point) but if it takes off, it should bring in a nice little stream of revenue.

It is a design sent through a generic NPC non-specified company. It's just an mp3 player, I didn't think that it was a big deal - but I can get an actual company to mass-produce it if necessary. If that's the case, this will need to be archived.

But your manufacturer is not a generic company. It is you.

If you want a generic company, you may look at star wars canon company list in wookieepedia that isn't currently claimed or find a company on chaos that is willing to be the manufacturer.
