The 7th Circle: Invasion of Kalee

InvasionofKalee2_zps248ebd73.png
Kalee, the things that Ronin had heard and seen made his skin crawl. A species of alien had recently taken over the planet as their own and were lead by the Sith Lord Krag, who was a monstrosity of nature. The cities of Kalee had been razed and the local population had been forced into death labor to build massive underground tunnels that were large enough to fit an entire Sector Army into. Kaleesh were being slaughtered by the thousands and the Graug would feed the dead to the living just to spare expense. If there was ever a true hell hole in the galaxy, Kalee might very well be it. One thing was certain, however, the Graug would number in the million and their war beasts would be crawling all over the planet.

Entering the system, Ronin instantly felt the wound in the force. So much evil, hate and vile acts were present in the system that it had created a searing darkside wound in the force that cut into Ronin's senses like a blade. Ronin shuttered a little as the darkside poured over his ship and he was faced down with Krag's fleet, multiple ships lined the the planet's orbit and they were ready for a fight. Taking a deep breath, Ronin sat back in his command chair and sighed. Millions of Sith and Fel soldiers would likely die today, there was no avoiding that. However, the Kaleesh people needed to be freed and the Sith needed to be rid from the galaxy.

"All ships to attack positions, begin the landing immediately." Ronin's voice casually called to the men on the bridge of the Rebirth.

Seras sneered at the files on the desk, it wasn't enogh these creatures had to be alive they were proving to be sympathetic to those who visited. Her experiments and her work not really mattering when the alarm sounded. When reports of Imperium ships incoming came to her ears. Her hands swiped across the desk and sent the files flying to the side of the room. "Make sure all the important notes are sent to the Emperor and burn the rest." Her mask hissed with her words at the sharp intake of breathe and her eyes went to the window. "Make sure all who are here have a bath for the Imperium, the rest lets bake them. Understood? I want all prisoners processed." The man gave a nod of his head while she moved straightening herself in the mirror and laughing a little with a mechanical sound to it.

Imperial-II Star Destroyer, Chiss Legacy,
Above Kalee.

The Imperial-II Star Destroyer known in the Fel Imperium as the Chiss Legacy dropped out of hyperspace to the side of the Emperor's own taskforce. With Zaruan on the bridge he sat in his command chair and looked side to side to those on his bridge. "Deploy the gunships. Send the fighters to protect them." He placed his hands on the armrests and he looked out the viewports.

The hangar bays to the Chiss Legacy opened up and the gunships and their designated squad protection came out and provided escort and protection from any other fighters and to perform strafing runs on the Sith forces on the planet.

"Imperator Fel. This is Captain Zaruan, the Chiss Legacy is in position. Orders?" He spoke through the intership communications system on board his ship. He figured it would take a few moments before he replied and he gave more orders to his own crew: "Move into attacking position, we must be prepared for orbital bombardment." He said as his orders were transmitted throughout the rest of the ship. Though it took a while to perform just in case the Imperator had something else in store for them. Such as blockading the planet and blocking off the hyperspace routes.

OBJECTIVE 3

Taking a hold of my helmet as the Command was given out to begin the Landing parties I smiled. This would be my Second Invasion against the Sith. Placing the red and white helm on my head, I smiled as it was now fitted to my head. Really all they did was add extra padding to the helm so it wouldn't shake around as much. The HUD came on with it's red glow in my eyes as I walked onto the drop ship. Holding a blaster rifle in my hand. and another blaster pistol on my thigh, I was probably one of the less armored people here.

Having a lightsaber on my belt as well. yet hidden by the red kilt that I wore that matched with the armor. I would have to say that I looked completely bad to the bone. There were a company of men with me, though I knew that alot of them may die. I decided to stay away from knowing their names to allow myself ignorant bliss of seeing a faceless soldier fighting along my side.

"YOU HEARD THE MAN! LETS GO!"

Krag could sense them, the Fel Imperium had come just as he knew they would. They had come to undo the work of the Graug and banish them back into the darkness of the galaxy, but the Graug are not to be trifled with. The Graug were resilient, the Graug were strong and the Graug would tear victory from the hands of the Fel and take their arms with it. Then, those arms would be used to beat the Fel to death and leave their rotting corpses for the slaves to feast on. Standing from his throne, which sat in the middle of a room engulfed in lava flow from a nearby volcano, Krag marched down the steps of the platform on which the throne sat and towards an exit on the far left wall of the room.

Exiting through the doorway, Krag found himself on a balcony that overlooked a massive Graug training yard that lay under the surface of the planet. Standing in rank and file below were Graug soldiers, each dressed in modified Stormtrooper armor and high above them were dozens of war beasts. The Glycons were massive rancor-like things with heavy mass-drivers strapped to their backs and they made up 7 of the twelve warbeasts while the massive Dread Spiders made up the rest. Krag grinned cynically at the magnificents of his army and, with a voice of a god, Krag called out over them "Warriors of the horde, the prey has come!" the army of Graug roared in unison at these words and then Krag continued "They will not take what we have built! Go forth, kill all who stand in your way and slaughter all of these weak invaders! Bathe in their blood, rinse your hands in their entrails and post their heads on spikes for all to see! March! March to victory!" Krag roared and he was matched with the roars of his army. Their voices shook the caverns and when they marched it was like an earthquake, the Graug would feast on the bones of all who faced them today....

Sai had a look on her face as she rolled her neck and shoulders. There was much going on but more importantly then that they were back taking the fight to the sith and making them fall back, once the sections of the galaxy were secure they could strike for their heart and work to ensure they didn't come back. Well she knew from what history they had that they would most likely but they could still work to stop it and keep everything copacetic with the Republic and others in the galaxy. Maybe work on finding mutual ground for peace. Right now though she was standing with some soldiers and had her equipment ready. No need for a saber yet she just had a rifle and blaster pistol with a scope.

Sorcha stood near her brother and made a face while she sniffed the air, his power was immense and he had brought her from Gratos with the effort and the training. Her drool came out while looking down upon the rest of the horde while she prepared to fight the Imperials who came after them. She would tear them all apart and smash them into the dirt while the magma burned all the unworthy. "Kraaaaag you forgot you lunch."

Not many knew but Kiyala held a certain fondness for the Sith Warrior called @[member="Krag"], he was everything she was not in a good way. She admired that trait about him immensely as it was a constant reminder that power exists in all ways. So when it came to the possiblity of this planet falling, it was not even a possibility as far Kiyala was concerned. With her were three parties of a patrol size Sith Assassins and at least one Nightsister for each group. With them being apart of her personal detail they were armed appropriately by having Eater grenades and Sonic grenades as basic crowd control routine trained in day in and day out. These men and women were bred to kill so gracefully it would seem like an art to the purest of canvas. As they all melded their presence into the force and disappeared from sight through their respective techniques Kiyala found herself itching for battle standing in her Rancor Mark 2 armor watching the leader of this operation for orders. "Time to kill these bastards."

"Captain, move your ship to engage the closest Sith Star Destroyer, I will be sending the Signal of Freedom and Free Fire to assist you." Ronin's orders were simple, but the battle had just begun and he needed to formulate his plan. Looking over the Sith ships, Ronin saw that an Invicitus Star Destroyer, not too different from the one that the Fel had captured, was heading the Sith Fleet. "Move the Rebirth and Liberated into position on either side of the Sith flagship and ready my shuttle I will be attending the battle with the Phoenix Legion."

"There will be more than enough of these vermin to go around, we shall feast on their bones before the night is done." Krag growled to his sister before slowly spinning around to face Kiyala, "Demont, if the Fel have done scans of the planet they will know that the arena is a structural weak point for the tunnels. Take the passages to the arena and kill any who try to enter." Then, turning to his sister, "Go Kaleela with a portion of the horde, slaughter the slaves without mercy and prepare for the assault by the Fel."

Krag growled deep in his throat and put his claws to the side of his sister's face, "do not fail me or you may find yourself my next trophy." slipping the razor sharp claws across her skin-like hide, Krag turned and marched towards his throne, "I sense they will be coming to kill me, I will let them come but I must make...preparations. Contact me if anything goes wrong and prey that you don't find yourselves in ill favor as a result."

Imperial-II Star Destroyer, Chiss Legacy.
Above Kalee.

"The Chiss Legacy is enroute, Imperator." Zaruan said as he looked to the helmsman and nodded to him. He knew what he had to do. Everybody on the bridge knew what they had to. "Fire ion cannons, first. Fire concussion missiles and turbolasers into the distortions of the shields that the ion cannons make." He said, and straightened his back in the chair. He had to look official didn't he?

As the Chiss Legacy moved forwards, and started to open fire with the blue beams of light that indicated those were indeed the ion cannons starting to fire first, the turbolasers and concussion missiles soon followed right after. Only a few seconds within pounding upon the Invictus Sith Star Destroyer, the Signal of Freedom and the Free Fire did indeed come to assist the Chiss Legacy. Both of the ships fired everything they had at the Sith Star Destroyer.

Zaruan would have smiled, if he had thought it right at the moment. Anything could happen at this point in the battle. "Deploy bombers to take down that ship's engines. It's not going anywhere." Zaruan said, with the air of command that a Captain should have upon his own ship. He wondered if the Imperator wanted to capture that ship too, why destroy it and let the Sith have parts to salvage later?

Zrash'toul'frusku

Phoenix Legion's General
Aboard The Rebirth preparing to drop into the world.
Objective: Drop onto the world and assault the Graug force hidden under the Soil
NPCs receiving action: Phoenix Legion
Phoenix Legion was scattered about the hanger to board Hades gunships. They were to be the sword that would be thrust deep into the heart of the Graug and then yank that heart open and expose it to much bigger weaponry. Zrash had prepared them for this, or atleast he hoped he had. There was an estimated 80% or higher mortality rate for this mission and the men knew that. Didn't seem to damper their resolve or morale however. They had specialized gear for the mission, high-power disruptors, sonic weaponry, and Phoenix's heavies carried either a Plasma-Based Repeater Combine or oddly enough, a refitted Carbonite-Sprayer. Each man was also given scatter-rifle as well for close-quarters combat with the bestial Graug. Even Zrash had one.

He patched himself into High-Command's comm channel and spoke. "My liege, Phoenix is prepped and ready to deploy. Orders have been dispersed amongst the men. CELL squads have been tasked to find key structures to the Graug war-effort and the like in the tunnels and will decimate these at will. The main bulk of Phoenix will be traveling with us to distract the Graug while the CELL do their work and get you and other Imperial Knights to the throne room, sir."

Ius Company had been reassigned to serve under General @ Zrash'toul'frusku following their loss during the military operation on Kad V. And although Voroll was not a real member of the Royal Stormtrooper Corps, he served alongside Ius Company (albeit as an honorary recruit) during the invasion of Dubrillion at the start of this Imperial-Sith War. Their reassignment meant little to the Fel Stormtroopers who served in it, since little about their structure changed aside from their new loyalty to Phoenix Legion and their new General.

They walked along, mingling with those of Phoenix as they boarded their Hades gunships. Until Voroll spotted the Chiss from afar speaking into his commlink. He excused himself from the two he had come to be friends with: Corporals Mebba and the other he forgot the name of even after it had been wrote on his hand. The hilt of the vibrosword that swung from it's basic strappings, even though it was sheathed, was held by his left hand; making it easier to remove it with a slash with his right when he needed it. When he approached the General he gave him a Fel Salute - holding a fist over his chest - and waited for him to finish whatever it was he was doing before speaking.
"General Zrash'toul'frusku, Voroll Astaar, Imperial Knight Cadet, reporting for duty alongside Ius Company." He said professionally, keeping his fist where it was until he had finished. His stature was straight and tall, typical of any rank of Royal Stormtrooper while in the presence of an officer.

Location: High Orbit, Kalee
Objective: Secure space superiority
NPC: Imperial-II class Star Destroyer Outbreak
The Outbreak lurched out of hyperspace, its singular frame breaking across the vastness of space. His crew already had their orders from the prior briefing given by the Grand Admiral himself. All fleets were already updated on the objectives and duties of each of their respective units and sector groups. Whilst Davin had only a single vessel to venture forth, several Imperial-II Star Destroyers were lying in wait to surge forth and assist his battlegroup.

"Began assault. All fighters disperse, I want the boarding crews readied, and someone get me a latte."

Zrash'toul'frusku

Phoenix Legion's General
Zrash let down his comm to look at the Human Imperial Cadet as he reported in. The Chiss stood entirely upright in a posture that was the very epitome of military stance and discipline and even his voice held signs of military life as an Officer. "Cadet Voroll. I would be glad to allow you to accompany us. The more firepower the better and a Force-User can always throw their weight around." He waved the man to droop the attention stance. Zrash may have had a lot of military rules and was rigid when it came to following them but he always believed that a Imperial Knight was guaranteed their own form respect

War, no matter the reason, was always something that Turin despised now. Battle was something he excelled at, yet disliked and now as he landed with the others on the seemingly war-torn surface of Kalee, the Force pulled at his heartstrings. He could feel the pain, anger, suffering, and despair that plagued this planet, bordering on becoming a wound in the Force. For someone like himself that had become close to the Force over the last year and a half, it made him sick to his stomach at points. So donning his armor from the last incarnation of the Imperial Remnant and trusting in his own judgement, he touched down with the military, ready to move, and ready to fight.

As his shuttle got closer and closer to the planet though, the tug on his heart began to warp and change. He felt old feelings of rage and confusion, all enhanced by the heavy taint of the Dark Side on the planet. The Sith Lord that called himself king of this world was here. Taking a moment he closed his eyes and centered himself, allowing himself to wander in to the White Current, joining the actual ebb and flow of the Force to search out this being. The result, was not what he expected. He was such a blight on the force...To be honest he hadn't felt something so dark, something so gleeful at destruction, it shocked him from his own concentration, promptly releasing him from the White Current and leaving him exposed in the mind of Krag. He quickly withdrew from the strange mind he had entered, fearing a counter attack, though he didn't know if the man or thing was competent enough in this aspect of the Force to even have noticed him, as his own aura was tainted with the Dark Side.
