After demonstrating an impressive sum of heroism on Nar Chunna, the handful of warriors responsible for felling a Terentatek were to be rewarded for their valiant efforts. To this end, Isley Verd, the student of [member="Rave Merrill"] and employee of Akure Executive Leatherworks, personally oversaw the creation of a useful resource for usage by these brave men. The end result was a series of five bodygloves, enough for each participant to receive one, composed out of the beast's hide. The process by which these body gloves were created was vastly similar to that which resulted in Akure Executive Leatherworks' Cater Coat. However, unlike the aforementioned product, this particular project did not have the expertise of Rave Merrill (nor her reagents) on hand. This resulted in a series of body gloves which captured and amplified a single area of the Terentatek's immunity to the Force, as opposed to the wide variety capable of being achieved by the collaboration of mentor and student.
The singular aspect of the Terentatek's immunity that was epitomized by the finished product was that of telekinetic resilience. Against telekinesis employed by a typical practitioner of average skill, wearers of the Terentatek Body Glove are immune to the pushes and pulls sent against them. However, against advanced telekinetic practitioners, the resilience is often compared to that of a Yuuzhan Vong facing down a Force Wielder; in the sense that advanced telekinetics result in stumbling, skidding, etc. However, it is to be noted that the body gloves do not offer any additional protection against any other spectrum of Force Power. What's more, the body gloves do not offer significant protection against a variety of standard ails. As it is "supernaturally tough", Terentatek leather will not break due to blunt or concussive forces; but the wearer will be subject the breaking of bones. Blasters and Slugthrowers may pierce the material, and it affords only light resistance to lightsabers (such as glancing blows).
As a whole, the Terentatek Body Gloves are much akin to a second skin and can be comfortably worn underneath clothes or armor. They are lightweight and have also been treated with a flame-retardant polymer in order to give its wearers basic protection synonymous with most modern body gloves. All in all, they are fitting rewards for the heroes who so boldly faced down one of the deadliest creatures in the Galaxy and lived to tell the tale.
