An elegant beam patterned waist, rounded an openwork dress, covering a curious Kiffar girl, as she wandered through the outside arena areas. The dress was practical but attractive, long sleeves, a scoop neck, one piece and cream colored, it ended just about at her knees. Bare legs below that and light brown, lion color wedge boots, coming up a bit beyond the ankle to match. A different dress every day, unless it was important and she had to wear the robes.

Nato's Jet black hair was down lower today, ending just to her neck, framing a petite face, and petite frame, always a lock or two rested over her eyes, covering up the lack of a Kiffar facial tattoo, something that always was in the back of her mind. The girl wasn't very muscular, she was never going to be able to use a lot of physical strength against someone. Standing about 5f 7 something tall, the something was important to her, but it meant she'd need a clever kind of instruction.

Casual attitude, maybe a bit too casual, as she wandered this way and that in the temple grounds. There was a keenness to learn, no doubt, but swinging a lightsword? She just wasn't sure if it was for her so far. Nato wanted it to be for her, but there was a doubt there in her mind. Tapping a hand against the yellow saber at her hip, she was calling it aurora, meaning a natural light in the night sky, for now, but would probably change her mind next week.

Some dueling Inspiration Music. At the moment she stills thinks of it as a 'sword' ;)

Darth Fidelis grunted as he moved through the training pit, his normal meditations involving combat motions and even strict combat were underway. The 5'5 sith lord weaved and dunked below training droids that were coming at him, this time he had chosen a dozen or so of them as a warm up. This had become a normal spectacle since the council had ruled on his fate to serve the Republic in his fullest capacity.

The sith lord had a black mesh shirt on that only covered to mid-bicept and black jeans with a pair of black, steel soled combat boots. He was unhindered by anything in this world as he moved, tracing the ancient moves that he had learned from his father those countless years ago. A delicate Mandalorian dance that was in and of itself a deadly form of martial arts that helped the sith Lord to focus his mind. In an instant his hand shot out towards his trench coat laying on the bench, two lightsabers lept to their masters command. Igniting in a whir of crimson and green light the sabers started their part of the dance. In practiced motion of years the form moved a whirl whind of motion and color as he began to take the droids apart until only one had remained.

he disabled his sabers and tossed them aside reaching out with the force he made a crushing motion, the droid sparked as its frame imploded.

There were certain looks Nato got at times, which you might see on a wide-eyed child's face, today was one such day. Here ahead of her, was someone smaller than she was, beating droid's about the head like they were paper cutouts. The Kiffar girl wished she'd come here more often, or... at all! She'd heard some rumors about him, but 'fub' it, one black guy in a shirt, was just one better dressed guy to know. It didn't really matter to Nato who or what someone was, that was her weakness and strength, she had a carefree attitude that would either make life really interesting, or could be summed up as, trouble.

Flexible hips and legs, just that lil' sway to them, holding her arms just above her waist line, fingers curled into her petite palms, Nato rested her hands together, and she looked completely enthralled. The green lightshow ahead, clearing the floor like something out of a Zeltros club in heat.

"Okay, what's the secret?" She curled the corner of her silver tinted mouth up, "I know, I know, Sith, lotsa battles, swords and guns, lotsa years practice, some snazzy clothes, but what's the secret." The girl said taking a few steps closer to the man, the piles of fizzing junk around her, made her take a hesitant turn of the head trying to gauge it all, gluing her midnight eyes to the man when she gave up.

There was a playful look in her eyes, like she was just teasing a bit, maybe it was the first time the Sith had seen anyone give him such a reaction since coming to the temple. Deep down she was just stuck on woaha, who is this guy really. There was somewhere in all of that overblown reaction, maybe a trickle of Nato's fear too, if you knew her she used it to cover it well.

Arumi walked casually over towards his trench coat taking little heed of the jedi girl that had made an appearance. Normally few bothered him during his meditations, well the occasional person looking for a fight but that was a rarity now. He reached into one of the pockets and pulled out a pack of smokes. He scoffed at the act of smoking since he had been forbidden to smoke inside but few questioned him on it.

" Secret?" said eventually as he activated a few of the nearby cleaner droids to begin clearing the training ring. " I wouldn't say there was a secret. It all comes down to what one is willing to do, few jedi are willing to adhere to the tenets of war so strictly as to match the ferocity a sith blademaster can achieve." he took a drag of his smoke as he tossed his trench coat away. " The reality of it, if i had to really say that there was a secret would be complete and total understanding of yourself. Knowing your body better then a scholar knows his books, as a soldier his gun and better then" he paused for a moment thinking about the philosophy lesson he had managed to get trapped in. None of the councilors were around so he shrugged lightly " Knowing yourself as the perfect weapon, crafting your flesh and body much as one does their own lightsaber".

" And years of practice and the snazzy clothing does help" he said almost chuckling to himself as he eyed the girl down. He could sense the emotions welling in her, an untapped fountain that could have been manipulated in another life to turn her into something dreadful.

Cradling her hands together to rest on her stomach, and angling her hips backward, to rest casually on the back foot, Natol'ine was mystified by all of this. A misty look that carried into the eyes, in the best way, mulling it over, not having been talked to so candidly. The girl didn't speak because what @[member="Arumi Zy"] told her right then she had no experience of whatsoever, it was like a part of her brain just switched on or froze. The mask of personality she showed for the world was down for a while in that misty-eyed version of a more vulnerable Kiffar girl, until back it came, right on time.

"Hmm, I can kinda handle that." She clicked the roof of her mouth, beaming a smile, moseying over closer and palming aurora into her hands. So quickly taken, it was held behind her before you could blink, out of sight and out of mind. Not ignited, you just had no way to know what her weapon would or wouldn't do by sight.

Darkness in people had a quality in that it made you concentrate on them. There were a lot of pitfalls for a Jedi, but that same serious edge to Arumi had Nato interested, just like the bars on Zeltros, that unspoken but ever present possibility of being exposed or laid bare by someone you never thought to meet. A new face to know, to learn and to gather their memories from, her trinkets set outside of time to collect.

"Maybe... you could, show me?" The smallest of flicks of the hair were offered, strands following the curvature of her face, as her head tilted the other way, wondering if he could. Deep down she knew he could show even her, after that display, and still reeling from just how he had put it into words.

" I could show you how to walk, i could teach you to crawl but if it is not present within yourself it is pointless" the sith said as he moved back towards the training circle. He extended his hand with a grunt exuding a wave of force all around him sending the remaining busted droid shells crashing into walls and clearing the ring " But i guess i could indeed teach you".

The sith drew one of his lightsabers " One of your masters of old, Windude i think his name was knew war, knew battle. He flirted with the dark side every time. It is a dangerous path that of war, easy to loose your way in the eternal darkness and alure of power. When you are ready you may attack me".

"I bet'cha if anyone could, you could." She smiled warmly, happily, and couldn't wait for it to all get started. Hearing his instruction, she was just thinking how sage-like he sounded, all wise and, nothing like her, she didn't want to let him down!

He wanted her to go first! Putting on a brave smile to hide the jitters, "No problem," Natol'ine, pushed her fingers into her palms and curled out her arms to give them a lil stretch feeling a rush of excitement, edging closer toward him one foot in front of the other.

"Nice day huh?" Trying to throw him, and give him something he wasn't expecting, still small steps, bouncing side to side now. The weapon back behind her back, came around like she were using a backhanded handed knife towards his arm. It was like a very long stabbing action, no style or form to it, it did have the element of being completely unexpected perhaps.

She tried to glance off his weapon to his right, and step lightly away out of reach with a pirouette, hopefully before he could reply, nimble and light-footed that was her natural inclination, one step in, one step away, or would be if she had any idea how to saber fight at all. Which evidently she'd need a lot of work, the makings of a fast footed style though like Ataru seemed right up her alley.

Fidelis grunted as he simply stepped back using the besker bracers to deflect her attack, years of muscle memory kicked in as they usually do acting more as a reflex then a conscious process. The reality was he could be cought off guard, but rarely and it took him already fighting someone for there to even be a chance. She was fast and agile, but did she really have much experience to use those abilities. Fidelis ignited his lightsaber at long last, taking up a stance that looked more like a drunkard then anything truly disciplined. He had spent a life time learning and had only skirted the ideas of a saber form.

With lightning speed he moved at her, allowing the force to enhance his muscles to well beyond mortal limits. He swung his saber at her, aiming at her shoulder. With a feinted flourish he slashed downward before the blow would have connected towards her arm, twisting his waist sending a round house kick towards her face. " You must learn to block where your opponent is striking instead of where he looks to be" he said with a grunt " The jedi rarely teach that, your instincts are only so good until they betray you."

A Master's speed was way over her own, Arumi didn't need half of it to take Nato's poorly held grip to pieces, almost sending the lightersaber out of her clasping hand even with the first contact, but she hung on, somehow clutching tight. Not attacking, the girl just tried to keep one step out of his way, though to her credit she luckily spotted the feint, used to playing possum as a kid often enough with her brother's, moving out of the way instead. The final kick though was just again too fast for the Kiffar, and it was all the girl could do to avoid being hit, getting a sniff of his feet as they rushed by her face, bending so far back she fell to her backside.

At a jolt, she sprung up just as fast as she fell, Nato dusted herself off and smiled, "meant to do that!" Despite her levity, mentally she cursed herself for falling over, hoping he didn't think less of her now.

Arumi led well, she was trying to follow him. Pulling the dishevelled hair out of her face, and giving him a beaming, embarrassed smile. Nato crept towards her teacher almost on tiptoes, stabbing the lightsaber at the Master's legs, and again trying to pirouette away, bouncing lightly with her away step. It was a feint of her own, there was a spring in the step, like a knife but needing a lot of work to make it into a technique. She pirouetted into a full spin, the beam followed her in a long sweeping motion around to try and nick his opposite side at the waist, a bit better, but not by much. At least she was listening to what he was telling her.

"How do we know? When the instincts are right?" She really wanted to know the secret he had, there had to be one, not for it to just be lucky guesswork on her part like the first time.

" Experience" he said as he used his saber and besker bracers to deflect the incoming attack, he moved through her strikes advancing with purpose until he was close enough to throw a head butt towards her. " Sith learn at an early age not to trust what we see coming. A knife in the darkness, a dagger in the neck are all as effective as a saber to an opponents side".

"It must have been hard for you? Growing up, you know." @[member="Arumi Zy"] showed her what strength really meant, not from physical size but ability with the force, and experience, she was watching all of it, in a way he was helping to mature her. Aurora glanced off his bracers like swatting aside a fly, opening her open he then caught her with a headbutt which cut her lip, owww. She said to herself, dabbing the side of it with the tip of her small thumb.

There was a bit more fire in her, after the sting to remember to keep the saber up. Okay then, she would have pouted but she didn't want him to think her completely incompetent, she had to do better than this. Dancing around him, and moving around to his left side, hoping it may be a weaker one. Light steps always, the girl looked like she was going to swing high, but spun Aurora around in her grip, the beam going lower, curling towards his leading knee. Still trying to get the whole feinting thing down, but it was a better attempt.

Maybe she didn't have a form either, maybe she felt she needed more freedom? "Do you think those, ah, forms help?"

Take your time with me always, no rush, enjoy the holiday :)
