SPECIAL FEATURES

 • Command Pit: Navicomputer, flight control, communications and a lot of the brains of the ship route here. Tactical controls, for weapons and shields are also here in the pit of the ship.

 • Medical Bay: Fits seven beds and an office for the doctor, a nurse’s station are crammed somewhere in the bay. Cabinets are stuffed with supplies ready for the rush of the battle.

 • Preservation: Three cyrobeds to hold the critically wounded until they can reach a proper hospital or hospital ship.

 • Gun Controls: After getting coordinates from the pit, gun crews work to turn the guns and fire them as needed. Work turbolasers, ion cannons and mass driver cannons takes work and you’ll find the crew working to turn and fire when ready.

 • Workshop: Houses workbenches and modification centers to work on weapons and armour.

 • Engineering: It keeps the ship going, if the pit is the brain of the ship the engineering is the heart. This is what keeps the Kirehe going, engineers work around the clock to keep their frigate going.

 • Munitions: Holds the Flechette Missiles which are monitored by a trained weapons specialist.

 • Cabins: Where many of the crew sleep and relax, the Captain has their own room but the rest of the crew sleep six - eight per cabin. Sharing a joined latrine with another cabin, privacy is a commodity here.

 • Galley/Mess: Food to feed the hungry crew is served here, warm meals to help them feel good. Cold beverages and songs are often served and sung as they talk about the old days and look ahead to the future.

 • Armoury: Houses weapons both ranged and melee as well as armour and personal shields, there are several of these located throughout the ship.

 • Barracks: Where drop-pod ready Mandalorians sleep while en route to their final destination.

 • Hangar: This is where the Tangata holds the four drop pods, the hangar has a bottom release enabling the Tangata to carpet drop from orbit. This also houses a few of her mimic decoys, who are released the same way as the drop pods.

 • Cargo Hold: Holds supplies as needed by the crew, when needed, also enables the vessel to transport items as well as people should the need arise.

 • Standard Warship Hazard and Damage Control Systems

 • Advanced Warship Sensors and Targeting Systems

 • Standard Warship Communications Systems

 • Standard Warship Environmental Control Systems

 • Standard Warship Tractor Beam

Strengths:

 • Disrupted: Packing a dozen QV3 Disruptors, the Tangata is looking to break through shields and help boarding vessels get the job done.

 • Slipped: Equipped with the Dha’karbakar the Tangata’s job of slipping in and out of systems delivering her goods makes the job the easier.
Weaknesses:

 • Weakpoints: She has a few structural weakpoints, points that Amaya hopes her pilots can keep from being exposed. Namely her hangar where the drop pods come down from the thinnest part of the ship is here.

 • Cooldowns: Tangata’s weapons have a cooldown period most notably her disruptors require a five to ten second cooldown between firing runs.
Description:
The Mando’ade needed a dedicated dropship, a dropship that could slip in and out of enemy territory. Thus the Tangata type was devised, created by Amaya Verd the Tangata was inspired by the T-Shaped visor of Mandalorian helmets. She took what would normally be on a Mandalorian starfighter QV3-Disruptors and stuck them on the dropship, and added the Dha’karbakar hyperdrive and for good measure two flechette missile launchers.

The idea was to create a mass produced dropship that would enable the Mando’ade and their brethren to insert and drop troops where they were needed most. With optical shields and sensor masks the hope was to be able to do this as discreetly as possible. Get out and come back with more drop pods to deposit over worlds of conflict, or worlds that were to be conquered by the Mando’ade. The Tangata lacks any particular special features such as hydroponics, and instead, it is equipped with barracks. Once the barracks and hangar are empty the dropship departs the system to retrieve more, or packs the Mandalorians already inside their drop pods and utilizes the secondary set of Mandalorians as boarding forces.
