Rationale:
After 400 years in carbonite Phoebe found herself alone within the galaxy as all her immediate family was long dead and gone. She didn't know any of her current relatives which sparked an interest into digging into her family history. Prior to being frozen Phoebe had only focused on her father's side of the family as they had been one to take her in and they were all Sith. She assumed her mother's side was all Jedi.
On further review and research she found that her mother was a member of the House of Tagge. A rather prominent member as well which surprised her considered she never knew until now. She found they were the owners of Tagge Company which she instantly recognized as one of the mega giants in the galaxy.
Before contacting the family she did further research in the company. They made just about everything and were worth a lot but recently were slipping in sales for whatever reason. Phoebe could see much potential in the family business and from what she could see at the moment it's resources were being poorly utilized.
Phoebe with this in mind dug a little deeper into not only the company but the CEO himself whom was a distant nephew. She hacked into the system itself looking for some dirt him. Everyone had skeletons in there closet, knowing how to find them was key.
In a previous life Phoebe had been Empress of an Empire so she knew how to locate what others rather keep hidden and how to utilize that to her advantage.
What Phoebe found was better than she would have expected. She thought that the worst thing she would find was he was sleeping with the secretary but he instead was stealing from his employees and from the looks of it the board of directors was well aware of this. The money that was supposed to be going to employee retirement plans was going into his pocketbook. Quite the crime and injustice to those working for him.
After making a copy of what Phoebe found she made contact with her long lost family. In her message she spoke how she wished to reconnect after so long. There was no mention of the company at all after all she didn't want them to think she was only after it even though she was.
Eventually arrangements were made that she would meet with Ivan Tagge and his family on Tepasi as their guest.
Upon her arrival she wasted no time getting to the point of her visit. She didn't want to prance around the issue as she knew that never did any good.
After dinner she cornered Ivan, current CEO, with what she had found and threatened to go public with it. Ivan not wanting this asked what he could give her to keep her quiet, offered hush money as well as replacing the funds. Phoebe declined and instead told him to resign and name her the successor. He at first argued with her but finally gave in knowing that even a hint at having a corrupt upper management would harm not only the company as well. It was best to back out and allow her to fix what he did.

TaggeCo started out from meager beginnings as a small fleet of ships which was used to snuggle goods to a disaster relief area. It grew from there when the acquired their first first company of Mining Explorers. Business boomed from there on and the brothers expanded grabbing onto other companies. They became one of the mega companies which had previously snubbed them when they were first starting out.
TaggeCo became a household name which could be found anywhere one went in the galaxy and the company prided themselves on this notion.
The plague devastated the company and everything that the family had previously had and made for themselves however afterwards they took the opportunity to rebuild and reclaim what was once theirs.
The new TaggeCo kept with the same ideals that were preached before the plague to be a household name and be recognized throughout the galaxy. In order to do this they quickly rebuilt and expanded throughout the galaxy focusing on being everywhere. The company was able to achieve just that and was flying high for awhile.
As other companies came into play the executives saw their revenue began to drop as consumers went for products made by different companies and not there. A survey of consumers showed that while TaggeCo was everywhere their product was not as reliable as others and for the price they could buy something of higher quality or spend less and get something of the same quality. The company at first shrugged this off not worried about a little decline.
It wasn't until revenue really dropped that they took notice and jumped into action trying to save the now quickly sinking company. A new vision for the company was formed for the company in which they focused on quality and not quantity. Putting out a quality product would draw consumers back.
As word got out about the new products that TaggeCorp was putting out consumers started buying again and they eventually were able to begin drawing the profit they once were.
Coupled with putting out a higher quality product they also focused more on research and development then they had in past years in order to bring the consumer the latest and greatest. They wanted to be innovative and bring products to market that had never been seen before.
