Stepping stones

She had recently got out coruscant jail, as she was deemed to be worthy of the sith. This made her happy, and sad at the same time. After all she had to say goodbye to her old buddies, and say hello to the galaxy elite. Though first she had to train, the sith apparently liked this training thing. Though for now, she had to obey. Later she have to right to crush those that annoyed her. She stepped in wearing standard acolyte gear, she did not like it. It looked drab to say the least, and everyone wore the same, like bunch goons.

She found place to sit while she waited for [member="Arturious Engel"], her new master to get their. She wonder what it meant to have master, no one had ever told her what to do, well other than him should not be named.

Arturious wandered the halls of the Academy having just returned from the armpit of a frozen huts backside called Csilla. He shuddered slightly at the thought of the place glad to be back in a warmer environment. Rather than wearing traditional robes Arturious had slipped back into the mix of sith trooper armor and an outer robe over it. The only thing missing was the helmet that was tucked under his arm. The sound of acolytes running around was calming. The sound of training sabers clashing was music to his ears. Almost lost in though Arturious at first did not even notice the woman sitting there waiting for him.

Turning once he did Arturious looked at her.

"And you would be?" "Let me guess another lost soul looking to rule over the galaxy or kill everything in sight."

Oh I would be harley quinn, She replied to the man. She had no idea who he was, and as such did not bow to the man. Though she did not understand why bowing was important. As it seemed a little disrespectful, to person who had to bow. Saying you are better than me and thats okay, well it was not okay no one was better than her. That was point of being sith right, making everyone subservient to them. So who would you be mr? She asked in a friendly tone.

Arturious looked at the woman for a moment before responding.

"I am Arturious Engel a Knight of the Sith and apparently the only instructor this Academy seems to have anymore." "I get a dozen or so Acolytes knocking down my door every week." "So why don't we skip the false pleasantries and get to what you want and why I should take the time to help you get it."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

Oh okay pudding, erm I like to be trained I guess. So you know, so I can kill people for you. She replied to the man, she did wonder what he meant by the only trainer though. She then stood up straight, so she could be inspected by him. She saw another acolyte do this earlier, though she did not realize why.

Arturious' eyes flared as he closed the distance between them the helmet tucked under his arm sliding down into his hand. Arturious whipped back with the helmet swinging it to catch Harley in the jaw.

"You will addressing me as Knight Engel or Arturious if I deem appropriate to be addressed informally." "Call me pudding one more time and I promise you that you will spend the next year in the med bay if you survive at all."

"Got it."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

Ouch you, She just about managed to stop herself swearing the man, after he hit her with the helmet. He then told her how to address him, apparently he did not like pudding. Well he did not deserve to be called pudding, she thought to herself. Yes Knight Engel, She had to stop herself again, from asking why he was not a darth like everyone else. Good job he could not read her mind, otherwise she be in trouble. Okay Knight Engel, what do you me to do? Her tone was forcibly friendly, though it was noticeable.

Arturious tucked the helmet back under his arm.

"You want training correct." "Training in what specifically, as in which forms and abilities?"

Arturious stopped for a moment as a thought hit him.

"Where are you from and how did you get here?"

[member="Arturious Engel"]

Well that`s funny story, Knight Engal. Erm well I was picked up by some of your troopers, I was innocent of course. Taking some munitions, from old republic military sight on coruscant. Just after you guys took it over, then they processed me and sent me here. So I guess they found me innocent, after all. She then remembered his original question, To be honest I am not sure, what do you think you could teach a girl from the works.

"So you are a thief who was arrested and sent for processing?" "You weren't found innocent." "Considering your temperament the Army figured one of us would end up killing you for saying the wrong thing."

Arturious smiled.

"I bet I know which one it was too consider the last prisoners they sent me I let two Apprentices torture to death."

Arturious shrugged.

"Well then it seems lesson one is complete and successful learned." "So on to lesson 2 saber combat." "DO you know what the seven saber forms are and more importantly which one you find more to your liking?"

[member="Arturious Engel"]

Yer this is my first day Knight Engal, and I am not sure on anything. She had no idea what a lightsaber form was, actually she had no idea what sith was. Apart form those guys with red lightsabers, who chopped people up for disobeying them. That bit she liked about them, the chopping up of other people.

Arturious frowned but did not say anything. Instead he walked over to a single locker over in the corner of the room opening it up. Arturious placed the helmet inside, removed his over cloak hanging it on the door. Arturious began removing the armor revealing a body suit underneath it as he spoke.

"So you are as fresh as a new born baby straight from her mother's embrace." "Well that both simplifies and complicates things at the same time."

"Do you know what it means to be Sith?"

Yep you get to do what you want, when you want, right? She saw that way, if it was true or not was another question. She looked around the training room, it seemed a little sparse. Apart from some lockers, and some weapons lying around. She did start to wonder what it was to be sith, after all they can't just kill people who they want. They got do something in there down time.

Arturious laughed as he got the last of the armor off and stretched his muscles a bit.

"If only that were true." "We all have Masters, we all have our roles to fill, and most importantly if you piss someone off that is stronger than you there is a 90% chance said stronger person just kills you."

"Almost reminds me of when I was in a swoop gang...............only the swoop gang paid better."

Arturious pulled out a set on black robes sliding them on. Carrying the armor in his hands he walks back over to Harley setting it down in front of her before going back to the locker and taking out a piece of cloth and some cleaner.

"You clean I talk."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

She neary said what to idea cleaning, but she just got it, for now she was his slave. As long as he did not try any funny business, that was okay for now. So which gang where you in, I was in the won`t works. We had like ton heavy weapons, we practically ran the works till..... She was about to say, till that uptight Darth Banshee came down with her troops. Then stopped all the gangs dead, one way or another. She hired some to kill others, she took the turf wars down their to whole new level. Then turned on surviving gangs, who would not join up.

Arturious shrugged.

"Don't think I heard of them." "Then again I am not from here."

Arturious smirked

"Less talking and more cleaning."

Arturious sat down in front of Harley sitting on his knees like he did most often when he meditated only this time he starting the boring history lesson on the Sith.

"Being Sith is more of an ideology surrounding the application of the force than anything else." "Two main groups the Jedi and the Sith." "The Jedi believe in suppressing emotion and feelings while using the force to do no harm." "They are supposedly the savior of mankind and the guardians of the weak and downtrodden." "The Sith believe that emotion and feeling fuel the force and to suppress emotion is well frankly retarded." "Reasoning that doing so limits one's ability." "The Sith believe in doing whatever it takes to further one's own goals or ambitions." "If that means destroying an entire civilization then so be it."

"It is worth noting that the first Sith were originally Jedi." "It was this difference of purpose that caused some of them to split from the others."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

She listened to the man, while she polished his armour. She figured there would be test after he finished explaining, who they were and jedi were. Well she had to agree with him emotions are great, she could never stand the jedi, they seemed incapable getting it. Then again did they not vow a life chaisty, or something as equally as stupid. She stopped herself from asking though, If jedi are weak and sith are all powerful, why did the sith seem to lose in the end. She realized such a question would be frowned a upon. So she carried on polishing his armour, and said Right.

Arturious watched her work for a moment with a tilt of his head.

"Any questions before we get down to the good parts?"

Arturious laughed.

"It doesn't have to shine like a Tatoonie sun just needs to be clean."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

Oh the good parts, is that where we shoot lighting at people? She seen a couple of sith do this, and it looked well cool. Well almost as cool as shooting a armoured rv, full of the rival gang up. That was a sweet moment, though couple hours later she was arrested. She then handed him back his armour, though she did put a small mark on it WW the symbol for ex crew. Most were dead now, though few would still be out there.

Arturious looked over the armor inspecting it closely when she handed it back to him. Noticing the mark on it Arturious looked at her for a moment before reaching out with one hand shooting an extended barrage of lightening at her.

"I told you to clean it not mark up my armor." "This armor was a gift to me from a very good soldier and personal friend."
