SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Flexibility: Starfire Protocol allows for freedom of movement - the Armorplast cuirass, bracers, and shinguards are light and do not hamper the ability to maneuver limbs or joints.
  • Gunbelt: The Bodo Baas Gunbelt is specifically designed to prevent Force-based tampering of the contents within. Furthermore, the wearer always seems to have ammunition just when they need it.
  • Resilience: The Bloodwalker Boots and Armorweave underlay of Starfire Protocol both enjoy minor resilience against the blades of lightsabers.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightsabers: Although the underlay of her Armor can withstand a glancing blow, the overwhelming majority of Srina's Armor can be rent apart by a lightsaber blade.
  • Kinetics: Armorplast is specifically created with anti-blaster protection in mind. Therefore, it is especially susceptible against kinetic weaponry, such as slugthrowers.
  • Ordnance: Intentionally light, Starfire Protocol offers little protection against explosive ordnance and significant, concussive forces.
DESCRIPTION

Upon entering the tutelage of Darth Metus, [member="Srina Talon"] was promptly introduced to her mentor's creationist tendencies. As a result, the Echani soon found herself fitted for and gifted a suit of armor that played to the strengths of her heritage. Reared as militant, martial artist, speed and flexibility were key factors that would always define Srina on the battlefield. For this reason, Darth Metus designed her armor to be lightweight so that it did not hinder her ability to fight comfortably. This goal was accomplished through the creation of a cuirass, shin guards, and bracers composed of the ceramic Armorplast - an expensive material notable for its blaster deflection abilities. Furthermore, the Armor was complemented with an Armorweave underlay which provided the body with a reliable defense against glancing, lightsaber strikes.

On top of the areas of speed and flexibility, Darth Metus saw fit to incorporate utility into the Armor's functions. To this end, he utilized his employee connections with Akure Executive Interstellar in order to secure a Bodo Baas Gunbelt for his apprentice. As advertised, the gunbelt would prevent Force-based tampering with the contents held within, as well as providing additional ammunition through uncanny means. In addition, Darth Metus incorporated an Echani Dueling Shield directly into the left bracer, so that Srina might have an additional form of defense on hand at all times. Lastly, the Sith also purchased a pair of Bloodwalker Boots in order to round out the ensemble.

As a whole, Starfire Protocol plays to her strengths of speed and flexibility. Logically, this means that the armor does not have an exceptional sum of durability in the face of lightsaber blades, kinetic assaults, or general ordnance.
