Open Market Sphaera Tea Company (Now accepting UC!)

Jhira Mereel Jhira Mereel Jhira Mereel Jhira Mereel was given a nod with a smile, taking note of the instructions for where the plethora of crates were to be delivered. As well as the requested amount of action figures. "I can easily give you nine action figures. I take it an assortment would be best?" She dipped down underneath the counter and pulled out a big box, plopping it onto the countertop. "Take your pick." They were figures from famous and popular holomovies

Jhira meticulously studied the box of action figures, murmuring a rather aggrieved sounding “Oh, yes. I mean, they will argue anyway, but ownership cannot be disputed if each Action figure is unique.” With a precision and care that spoke more eloquently of a life-time in armor than any mere combat maneuver, Jhira began selecting out the chosen figures.

Princess Vespa and Dark Helmet were cradled in her armored gauntlets, weighed carefully and with a touch of dismay, before she resolutely added them to her collection. “These two will be huge hits, and teaching dispute resolution short of a punch in the nose is part of the job of a parent, right?” A flashing look up at NPC Treasury NPC Treasury might easily be interpreted as a fierce grin.

Gunslinger Roland and his Brave Bantha were chosen next. The set came complete with a detachable synthleather duster and a portable explosive pack for the doomed beast. She wafted the simulated explosives through the air in a rather sad gesture. “Roland can just be that way, sometimes; a good lesson for the kids to take in, I suppose.”

The Talz Chieftain Thi-Sen, the Mighty Chiss Explorer Ar’Alani, and the super-hero Deadpool were each neatly placed in the line of Action Heroes. She paused and pointed to Deadpool. “He’s a Zabrak, right? I mean, given the crazy paint job on his gear?” Jhira would wait a beat for an answer, but she wasn’t sure Kay would have one. The matter might be of gripping importance amongst the under-13 crowd, but very well may never have occurred to the sophisticated lady behind the counter.

The Wookie Prince and the Kryat Dragon boxed set were selected out next. Again Jhira hesitated; apparently the dragon could breathe fire?!? Baffled, she almost put it back, then shrugged and placed the box set firmly upon the counter. “Safety with explosives in an important lesson, right? How bad can it be?”

Hera of Ryloth, Champion of Freedom, was reverently placed on the counter next, though Jhira couldn’t find the VCX-100 light freighter the Twi’lek Captain was famous for piloting.

Last was a long, internal debate with Judge Dredd in one hand, and GI Joe (fully articulated!) in the other. After careful consideration, it was Judge Dredd who was placed upon the counter.

“That man could have been a Mandalorian,” Jhira said admiringly, before once more assuming a patient parade rest.

- - - Request for Contractual Order - - -

Good Evening NPC Treasury NPC Treasury ,

House Daniels on Honoghr is requesting a biweekly delivery contract for the following products:

Teas:
Sapir Tea - Calming/Soothing Effect
Stim Tea - Raises Alertness
Root Tea - Super Human Strength
Glitterstim Tea - Telepathic Powers

Baked Goods:
Lightside Fudge - Mood Lifter/Selflessness

A potential half crate of each would be the desired requested amounts.

Best Regards,
J. Daniels

Jhira Mereel Jhira Mereel was watched with an amused smile as the Mandalorian picked out a variety of action figures, giving justifications for each. Or rather she was more-or-less thinking out loud. Little nods were given here and there, or a shrug of the shoulders.

By the end of it though, she gave a soft chuckle. "I once knew a Mandalorian by the name of Strider Garon Strider Garon that looked a lot like Judge Dredd. So it could be that they are of the same historical line. I do hope that everyone enjoys them and all of your purchases."

Her datapad dinged as a message from Jake Daniels Jake Daniels was received. She excused herself to divert her attention to it. Another big order. It was a good thing she had a lot of stock. She quickly typed a reply:

~Evening J. Daniels,

Your order was received and the first batch will be shipped tomorrow once payment is received. Keep an eye on the Glitterstim however, as it is powerful stuff in large quantities. Plus it is illegal in some jurisdictions.

We hope you enjoy your products and use them responsibly. Thank you for your business.

Sphaera Tea Company~

Jake sat quietly as his eyes looked over the response from NPC Treasury NPC Treasury of Sphaera Tea Company. They were quick. They were prompt. They were discrete. They seemed to meet any demands he had as far as the order was concerned; almost with a ruthless efficiency. It was no wonder the company seemed to have a solid hold on the tea trade.

“We are certain of payment, Sir?” A voice asked as her fingers tapped away on her own datapad.

“Yes. However send one request.” Jake said.
“You want to alter the order?”

“No. I have two special requests.” Jake replied as he took a sip from his coffee; a brutish blend known as military swill.

“Please ask Sphaera Tea Company to keep the exact drop off locations of deliveries secret. I do not care if people know where they are delivering planet wise but the exact location I would like kept secret. Second ask that should they ever develop a delicacy that numbs emotional pain more so than what they have to let me know. I’ll pay whatever they ask.” Jake explained.

“You want them to bake you an anti-depressent?” Anahita replied.

“Thats a rather weird way of phrasing it but essentially yes. Felling good is one thing. Numbing the pain inside is something different. I would prefer a longer lasting effect but any length will be bought without question.” Jake explained.

Anahita’s digits drummed away on the datapad as she sent the payment and then the following message:

“From the Desk of Jake Daniels.
Dictated but not typed.

Payment has been made for a routine contract of delivery upon initial agreement. Should Sphaera Tea Company wish to cease the contract at any time there will be no ill will from House Daniels. Likewise House Daniels will keep the contract with no end date in site. Future payments have been set up to be auto-deposited into the account we were instructed too by your company. Every third month of on time delivery will result in a bonus payment. Also - I ask that any tips I give the people delivering; human, droid, or otherwise be allowed to keep said tips.

I have two requests of Sphaera Tea Company:

I also request to be alerted as soon as possible when new delicacies related to mental health are developed. Excuse me, I wish to be alerted should they ever be developed. I will set up a separate contract for those with the same rates and payment schedule.

Deliveries to Honoghr do not need to be hidden however the exact location, given its a private home, should be. I cannot demand this of you, I simply ask that the exact location of my residence and your delivery be kept secured for safety concerns. Please be aware that any delivery vessel and its personnel will be under our protection upon arrival and upon their departure. No harm will come to them. I give you my word.”

Should you have concerns please do not hesitate to alert me.

In your debt.

Sincerey
J. Daniels”

Another ping came from her datapad as another message was received. At first she thought that it was an automated reply, but upon further reading, she saw that it wasn't. Instead it was another message from Jake Daniels Jake Daniels .

Hmmmm...

Her brows furrowed in thought as she went over the message not twice, but three times. A delicacy catering towards mental health? There were so many different aspects of mental health, and she was quite certain that those of House Daniels had something particular in mind.

So she penned her reply:

~J. Daniels,

Payment was received and your first order will be shipped tomorrow. A schedule has been added to the databanks to ensure regular shipments will be delivered. House Daniels will be notified of any changes beforehand.

Tips and gratuities are always left in the hands of the employees. They are paid very well, yet I am sure that they will appreciate them all the same. Discretion will be kept for the deliveries and the location will be known only to the the shippers as they are escorted down.

I am curious to know of which particular aspect of mental health that you'd wish for an item to be created to temporarily treat? Or is it too personal to say? Regardless, I can certainlly start experimenting and work on a few different treats.

Once again, thank you for choosing the Sphaera Tea Company. ~

'I am curious to know of which particular aspect of mental health that you'd wish for an item to be created to temporarily treat? Or is it too personal to say? Regardless, I can certainly start experimenting and work on a few different treats.'

His lips moved as he re-read the words time and again. No sound came out; his simply mouthed them out of a habit as his mind fell into deeper contemplation. The Noghri of Honoghr, especially the tribe that lived closed to his home had noticed a shift in the man for some time. His Guards, all attuned to his psyche knew he was off more than usually. What no one had known was that since his awakening the man had always been off. It was just the mask he had put up in an attempt to hide what he truly felt inside faltered at first. Then it shattered like porcelain venetian mask on a marble floor. In turn he became a recluse; hiding away in his home. Shunning aside his duties as the right hand to the Mal'ary'ush and distancing himself from the entirety of his family.

Attachment was what the man known as Darth Gravis to most needed. To know his wife, or someone with his wife’s face, was out there hurt so much so that the internal pain was nearly more than he could handle. To know his son’s did not need him, that they were grown men with their own family’s was in itself a blessing. It’s what any parent would want and yet he felt useless to them. Even with his brother-in-law and daughter-in-law, though he had not spoken to them they had not reach out to him. He had taken that as a sign that he was not wanted. Then there was the new Mal’ary’ush whom, for the briefest of moments scared Jake not by her actions but by how close she was getting. There was no romantic link between the two; it was the fear of just letting anyone get to know him such a deep emotional level terrified him.

Jake was lonely. He was depressed. That would be expressed as eloquently as possible while trying not to sound like an emotional mess.

“ Sphaera Tea Company,

I am in need of something to aid in what humans suffer from. It is a combination of two disorders. Major Depressive Disorder and Psychosis. No I am not seeing things or hearing things. The psychosis is simply deep seated paranoia. In all honesty I want something that isn’t a pill which I can simply have on me and no one would be the wiser. I want to feel what I once felt; joy, happiness, and even love. I want to experience life as it should be; without the grey shade of my mind messing with me.

Please note any costs related to research and development of such a product will be covered by House Daniels should you so wish given this highly private and uniquely sensitive request.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
J. Daniels.”

With that the man clicked send. He could only hope they would give him an out before he decided to find one for himself. They were, as was often a cliché' to say, his last hope.

The next message from Jake Daniels Jake Daniels came a while later while she was sipping Sapir tea and going through old volumes of recipies written on parchment. There were plenty of unique items in there, some of them eons old, or so it seemed. Candies, baked treats, cafs, cakes, teas and biscuits, all were within the pages of parchment. Some ingredients were more difficult to acquire than others, but her resources were vast.

She accessed the message in the datapad and read it carefully. A pit fell to the bottom of her stomache. Depression. Psychosis. She knew first hand what those were like, for she had experienced them herself, along with PTSD and crippling grief. Death came and she didn't fight it when it did. Instead she had let it envelope her and take her away, believing herself to be a lost cause to everyone. Yet a couple of people couldn't let her go, both of them friends that had long ago, gone their separate ways. One had fixed her body while another hunted her down in the Netherworld once a plethora of gates had popped up around the galaxy.

And here she was, returned to this galaxy in secret and keeping herself below everyone's radar. Even the living members of her family were unaware of her even being there, a secret that she wanted kept for quite some time. The void that she had felt before had yet to disappear, something that she had accepted as she had done so with death. Her family didn't need to see her that way. She didn't need to see the disappointment in their eyes.

Without a word she penned a reply;

~J. Daniels,

Such disorders are well known to me. Sapir tea is good as a small comfort, yet it's effects are not very deep or long lasting. I will do some research, some experiments and then bring over some samples for you to try. There's no point in creating a large batch if it doesn't work, right?

We'll be in touch.

Sphaera Tea Company.~

She sent the message off and then continued with her research.

Grand Shepherd Burtch

Fleet Commander For The Nomadic Peoples Coalition
Grand Admiral Burtch, master of the Elysium Empire Navy looked at his empty coffee mug and felt anxious. The regulation-grade coffee within the empire was simply not acceptable anymore. It was cheap and tasted like dirt.

The time had come at last. Being a fairly newly promoted Grand Admiral of the navy, the power to enact meaningful reforms was within his grasp. It was time to use his power to strengthen his beautiful navy, and perk up his mornings…

He keyed his computer and began furiously typing an electronic letter to the only person that could truly help him now…

Dear NPC Treasury NPC Treasury Arenais,

First I would like to formally thank you for that sampling can of your new coffee recipe that you gave me last year. It was truly amazing and going back to the navy regulation coffee hasn’t been the same since. I can’t stop thinking about that coffee and I have to have it for the whole navy. I understand that you have put the new coffee recipe into production and you are now able to sell mass quantities of this substance?

I want to place an order for the navy immediately. Sooner than later if you can, please. 50 million cases to supply all of my ships with
Empire Coffee should be enough to stimulate my fleets for a year and we will be ordering another 50 million next year. Bill it to my quartermaster Dorthea Dobson Dorthea Dobson and she will see about finalizing the transaction.

Again, haste would be highly appreciated. We are willing to pay a rush premium on this.

My eternal thanks,

Grand Admiral Burtch.
