Strenghts:
Undetectable: Being made of organic material the Bio-Chip is exactly that. Using next to no metallic components the chip can normally only be discovered through a dedicated neurological scan of the brain.
Functions: Up to two chips can be placed within the brain, each one can contain different functions. From giving the user an adrenaline rush during combat, or absolute unwavering loyalty to whatever is loaded onto the chip.
Weaknesses:
Instillation: These are best installed at birth or written into a clone's genetics. Instillation can be possible for an existing life form but death normally ensues afterwards If not done by a professional neurological staff.
No repair: If the chip is damaged inside your noggin there's no fixing it, there's no reaching in and putting in a new one. Once it's in, it's in. While it can be removed the scarification on the brain where it once was ensures that a new one can not be placed there.
Description: With heavy help from the genetics company the Umbrella Corporation, Spaarti was able to recreate the old Kaminoan inhibitor chip by using black market deals and history logs to figure out its creation. However this was not without sacrifice, the chips and the recreation of them cost the lives of many clones along the way. Dozens of lives lost but in the end a chip worthy of creating perfectly loyal soldiers came back into the Galaxy.
The chip is grown fairly simple, once programmed into the genetics of a clone the inhibitor chips begin to form around the second stage of the embryonic process and continue to grow until they become fully functional within the full year of the clones gestating period. The chip comes online and begins to go to work quite simply. Sending electronic messages through the brain and stimulating specific areas of the brain it can make a person completely loyal to a cause, or even stimulate the area of the brain that makes a person happy.
Up to two chips can be placed in a single person, with only one program per chip. These chips can have different functions that will be covered shortly. Chip functions consist of a few different programs. Loyalty, adrenaline rush, aggression monitor, pain management, and Order 66. Each one being designated towards a single program per chip.
Loyalty: While the person with the loyalty chip won't blindly follow orders and shoot themselves in the head on your nod. This chip will ensure that the soldier fighting for their loyalty program will remain loyal, trustworthy, and will have no fear of treachery.
Adrenaline rush: This provides a person with a moderate adrenaline rush to keep them focused and energized, simply think about having said adrenaline rush and the chip takes care of the rest. This however is not recommended for constant use as it will take a strain on your heart and stress levels.
Aggression Monitor: This can make someone the most chill person in the galaxy or a jerk who wants to punch someone in the face all the time. The chip sets the general aggression level for the person by stimulating the area of the brain that controls it. Very simple and straight forward
Pain Management: It won't completely numb you to pain, but it helps. This helps the brain dull pain and keep it in manageable levels. A broken bone, bruised organs, lighter injuries like these can be sustainable until medical help arrives.
Order 66: While not the actual Order 66 the name serves as an example for what it does. It allows a single program to be given to the chip and it can be as simple as jumping up and down for thirty seconds when the word Fidelio is said or as complex as exterminating all known Jedi in the galaxy. Really the choice is up to the buyer on what the program installed into the chip is.
Overall the bio chip is close to canon but adds a few extra twists to give it a more futuristic flare in this advanced age of Star Wars.
