Sneaky Projects, Collaboration.

The cruiser-carrier SICC-Ragnarok exited hyperspace over the planet of Lorrd, deploying 2 squadrons of TIE/ss space superiority fighters which flew in formation on either side of the 900m cruiser. The ship was immediately flanked by two chisel-head corvettes, and two ardan-class heavy frigates assumed position at the edges of the cruiser's interdiction field, from the side of the main hyperlane intersecting with the area. This would allow them to immediately get an angle at the aft of any ship entering the sector as they would be pulled out of hyperspace by the Ragnarok's gravity wells.

Kyle came personally to this area, since it was a valuable buisness deal for him and his company. Though he didn't do much in the part of designing ships, weapons and the sorts, he owned the company, and was a decent buisness man who needed credits. This lead to him being here, under his undercover name of Lloyd Anderson. This was the name he used for buisiness deals with the Galactic Empire, or anyone who didn't know of his involvement with the Shrouded Republic. Today, he would meet an official of the Galactic Empire, the head of another company, slightly smaller than his own. The woman in question was an Imperial. Kyle disliked Imperials, but that did not spread to the ones that merely associated with them, since those people didn't have the blood on their hands. In any case, caution was necessary, and so, Rinzler-Zetta sent out some ships that would ambush the enemy if things went hairy. A small fleet was on standby in the docks of the shipyards as well, just in case.

Now, the fleet would wait. If anything went wrong, the shipyards would be evacuated, and the battle-ready ships would make sure that the offenders left in pieces. Or atleast, they would try. If the Galactic Empire really wanted to wipe the company from the universe, they would succeed with ease, but there wasn't really any reason that the Empire knew of that could make them want to get rid of Rinzler-Zetta. For now.

The Imperial would have to dock to the shipyards located in a small asteroid cluster, which was easily navigable for anything smaller than an Imperial-I class star destroyer. If the official did as planned and didn't attempt to take over the yards, they would be escorted by two security guards all the way to a conference room in the 3rd wing of the construction. Inside, before a round table with ten rather comfy chairs and a large holoprojector Kyle stood awaiting the arrival of his guest. He could, from the large window in front of him, see the small fleet of his ships assume the agreed formation, which was also shown on the holoprojector behind him.

A few beeps echoed from his desk. A hyperspace signature was spotted. The official was on her way.

Prepare for your... examination.
Labs private shuttle streaked though the white and blue void of your typical hyperspace lane, though technically being part of the empire Lab was mainly just a private contractor that had capitulated on their offers and grant backing after a deep space monster had attacked the Rishi Space station in the Empires earlier days, before the whole SJO war, but after the fall of the Dominion. During her time, she had mostly stayed out of the Empires expansion, political and highly questionable military moves, focusing on growing her company, landing a rather large contract with the Free World Coalition in producing a cheap mass-produced blaster rifle for FWC loyalist forces to use on still neutral but soon to be annexed worlds.

Though despite this she wanted more, guns and armour only went so far, no, Lab wanted to produce bigger and better, but lacked the facilities to do so, sure she could make the weapons, the electronics, but for hulls, structure, she would need someone who owned a ship yard of some sort, that had no ties to any major faction, that could also benefit from such a project. Her search lead to this Lloyd Anderson, and his ship construction business, like hers it was young, though seemed to have gotten a good start on producing a good line of ships, which was a good sigh when considering the number of tanks and range she wanted to build.

Soon the white speaks of stars passed, opening her sight to the expanse of the planet below, and several war ships, "......... seriously, what the hell is wrong with this person?". Looking out the cockpit window Lab could see several larger war ships bearing down on her position, fighters surrounding her small shuttle, "Well this is awkward.... pilot open a com channel to the main capital ship, let’s just hope nothing bad comes out of this". Her private shuttle pilot gave a nod, patching her through to the what looked to be a star destroyer, “*ahem*... this is Labkahip Mordulla of the Galactic Empire, I am here to discuss business deals with Mr Lloyd Anderson".

"Shuttle 2961, you are cleared for landing in bay 7. You will be escorted by two fighters to the hangar. Sorry about the whole warship deal. We were forced to tighten security recently."

The reply came from the Ragnarok's comms officer as the 900m long cruiser powered down it's weapons and recalled the two escort squadrons back into the hangars. It looked as though nothing so far was going wrong. Two TIE/ss space superiority starfighters positioned themselves on either side of the shuttle and directed it towards bay 7 of the orbital shipyards above Lorrd.

The shuttle would land in a large, brightly lit hangar, housing several starfighters as well as some small cargo freighters. A new shipment of durasteel was coming in, so the main hangars were rather busy. As a result, the shuttle would have to land in one of the backup bays, mostly housing starfighters and other stuff that shouldn't really be on view in an orbital shipyard. The shuttle would be greeted by some security personnel and it's crew would be lead to the conference room, where Kyle (now Lloyd Anderson) awaited their arrival. Instead of the usual admiral's uniform he was clad in a suit, with the emblem of his factory on his back, hiding his true allegiance which lay with the Shrouded Republic. Hopefully he could profit with this deal, and perhaps even steal schematics for some technology from his buisiness partner. The Republic was in need of technology and ground vehicles, and this provided the opportunity they needed. This was perfect.

"Well I can understand the precautionary measure you put in place, and it made for a bit of fun, but I hope that not how you treat all your customers", though laughing it off she was slightly afraid that the man she was to meet might be a little... power crazy, or maybe was just very untrustworthy, still not being shot out of the sky was a good start, she just hoped it stayed that way. 'I hope he like my designs, they are not the most crash hot, but inexpensive and easy to produce'.

Lab waited patiently as the ship was escorted into the hanger bay, Tie fighters and other ship docked or preparing for take off, 'well, if they are using TIE fighters then they must be able to produce vehicle in large quantities, that's a good sigh'. Stepping of the ship Lab was greeted by several marines, who proceeded to flank the short Twi'lek, escorting her the main the main conference room where the meeting was to take place.

Opening the blast door Lab was given a view of this Loyd, wearing a nice business suit, a stern stare, "Hello Mr Anderson, I hope this day find you well, are you ready to talk about my proposal for a new line of Tanks, I have the schematics right here if you wish to see them".

"Ah... The plans. Indeed i would like to take a look."

Kyle activated the holoprojector and picked up the data disc. He twirled in his fingers for a moment, before inserting it into the system. A projection popped up. Plans for tanks, all of them impressive and the hulls could be made at the shipyards. The durasteel was recently delivered, and they could start production immediately at production bay 7. The question now was the massive Electromagnetic Cannon on the turret. Rinzler-Zetta did not specialize in weaponry, and they certainly didn't have the components for such production.

"Impressive, yes... but we do not have the components to build the weaponry required for such war machines. We can merely build the hulls. I assume you can provide the weaponry?"

Prepare for your... examination.
Labs plans where for a 40 tonne tank, the first being a simple infantry fighting vehicle, nice thick forward armor and an array of different devices to make it versatile for all combat situations. Though the design was that of a tracked tank, replacing them with repulsion lift would not be hard, but could act as an option for buyers, people always liked choice. Though one thing seemed strange about the man statement, they where not able to make a tank sized EM cannon? was this not a ship yard, or could they only make turbo lasers here?

What ever the case may have been her factory had made EM weapons before, on a hand held level with with slug throwers, but with the right materiel. "Yes my factory is able to make Electromagnetic accelerators for this design, as well as make the necessary munitions, missiles and other devices, provided that I am supplied with the necessary materials, would I be able to count on you for that, it would mainly be for the gun barrel and other components".
