Intent: To create a tech submission to update the Sentinel-class Corvettes acquired from the Sith Empire by Subach-Innes for resale.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Seinar Fleet Systems(originally), Subach-Innes(refit)
Model: Sentinel E-Class Pocket Carrier

Modularity: Yes(fighter complement)
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Durasteel(frame), Cast Duranium(hull)
Description: Sentinel corvettes purchased from the Empire priot to its collapse by Subach-Innes were stripped to their frames and plated with cast duranium. Their purchase was intended to provide a small carrier for use by smaller governments, in concert with a soon to be developed kamikaze drone similar to the TIE Detonator, manufactured by Seinar and thus not able to be produced by Subach. Superior automation and the usual fixings result in a ship roughly capable of doing the same as its Imperial version. The hangar, when the refit was created, was originally intended as that for a drone carrier. Whether the Sentinel E is used as a drone ship, assailing enemies with a hangar full of kamikazes, or as an actual picket carrier, carrying bombers and fighters to attack medium-sized ships, the vessel is more flexible than its previous incarnation. The retrofitting of Sentinels is cheap and easy to pull off, increased automation allowing for smaller consoles, and thus, more space for passengers and cargo, but the duranium is hard to repair despite being easy to replace, raising maintenance costs. As well, the vessel is still a weak little carrier, easily defeated by most if not all hostiles.

This looks to be mostly in order. However, to increase the cargo space from 200 metric tons with the original to 4,000 is grossly unrealistic. If the original had started with something closer to that latter figure, then I could let it slide, but multiplying it by 2000% is just too much.

As a side note, support corvettes actually have a speed of 4; 5 native base, -1 from the Support classification modifier.
