- Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- Experimental Speeds: With a low profile and reinforced engine... the airship is meant to be one of the fastest speeders on the market and designed to out preform A-Wing interceptors in a planets gravity well with massive acceleration.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Gravity: The advanced thrusters of the vehicle require gravity to function at full efficiency. Without it there can't counter gravity to get speed or thrust for the high speed movement.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
Designed for Saotome as a fast moving courier airspeeder for planetside transport. It is small, fast and built to be protected at high speeds so that it won't take a small animal into the engine and see something explode. Or the view port being cracked and smashed endangering the ones on it. With some small improvements to make sure it is sealed the shuttle is built like a small fighter being sealed with its own life support system and thrusters to move quickly. Inertial dampeners so that it can go to exceedingly faster speeds thanks to the performance booster built into it.
The main weaknesses of a non combative shuttle designed to go fast is in the risks that come from using the systems. Without the inertial compensator the pilot and passengers can easily pass out and flying at the maximum speeds severely lowers reaction time to everything that is happening around you. With reinforcement to the frame and a new design the engineers at Sasori were able to improve everythign about it into a lighterweight airship with powerful thrust and acceleration.
The improvements that were done to it would allow worlds to use them as well as stations with biospheres and gravity good enough for the ships to repulse from them. The speeds were one of the things but also the durability of the airspeeders that would be set up. THey could use them with the speedsters as a means to improve travel around the worlds. Internal spacing allowing more people to sit within the still small internal area.
