Description: The Ruin-class Siege Cruiser boasts the ability to deal great damage to virtually any capital ship class, space stations, and ground targets. Despite being quite slow; the warship makes up for this lack of speed by its turret-based weaponry, allowing much of its armament to target a ship without requiring the vessel itself to move. Regardless, it doesn't need speed as it's capable of attacking from afar without much risk to itself, able to retreat if the enemy pursues. Designed to be used in atmosphere and on enemy worlds, the ruin-class can be used to deliver damage to enemy armies and installations.

The ship does have its limits, however. For one -- due to targeting and turret arcs -- the top-mounted weapons and mass-drivers are practically useless against ground targets, firing them would be blind shooting and may even cause more harm than good. Furthermore in exchange for its massive firepower, the Ruin-class gave up any potential defensive weapons; making it a sitting duck against fighter and fast attack craft. As well the ship lacks any hangers, limiting its utility further in combat and forcing it into a singular role amongst the fleet.

Nonetheless this heavy cruiser is more than enough to sow despair and cause havoc amongst the enemies of The Primeval. This is the second ship of the new line, after the Aj'Rou-class.
