Hello & Welcome to Star Wars Genesis. Please keep in mind all players are responsible for their posts and for all content in those posts, whether verbal or graphic, including avatars and banners. The following rules are meant to help everyone in the Star Wars Role-Play Environment. Remember that if you think that something may be wrong, it probably is, and you should check the rules.
Again, the most important thing to keep in mind is that this is a game - it is supposed to be fun. When it stops being fun for you or for someone else, it's time to step back and re-evaluate what you're doing.
These rules are in place to help you do that.

[font="Verdana;"]B. Posting Out of Character (OOC) messages in a role-play thread should be kept to an absolute minimum.[/font]
[font="Verdana;"]C. You may not portray rape, pedophilia, etc. in any form. This is absolutely out of the question. Please use common sense.[/font]

[color=rgb(0,102,153);]NAMING YOUR CHARACTER[/color]
A. Your character's account must be named properly. For instance, "Emberli Garrett" is perfectly acceptable. If your character has no last name, like a droid, "BV-119" is acceptable. Short names, such as "Omni" are acceptable.
B. Random names, such as "overvigorxizor", that don't properly represent your character's name or what he would be called in a role-play is not acceptable, and you will be asked to change your name.

A. Choosing the same avatar as another writer is discouraged, but we do not limit avatar selection here at SWRP: Chaos. Choose whoever you want!

A. Your character is not God, he is not immortal and he is not invincible. While your providing your character strengths, be sure to provide him weaknesses as well.
B. When making the profile for your character, be sure to pay attention to your details - this is a reference for other role-players to use when role-playing with you or against you.
C. Neutral characters may not start with the ability to wield a lightsaber. You must be trained by a Force User at Star Wars RP: Chaos to be able to wield a lightsaber.
[*] If you are transferring your neutral character from another board, you may provide a training thread from the previous board.

D. Characters who use the Force must undergo training from a master.

A. Force Users must abide by the 3-Rank Structure. . e.g. Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, Apprentice, Sith Knight, Sith Master.
B. Force User Ranks can only be approved by Staff.
C. Non-Force Users must abide by their faction's ranking structure, whatever it may be. It must be at a minimum as simple as the 3-rank structure, or it can be as complex as the Faction Leader wishes it to be.
D. Neutrals who do not belong to a faction are ranked as simply "Neutral".
E. If you ask for a rank without proper reason, you will not receive it.
[color=#ff8c00;]F. You may transfer your Force User rank from another board, but only Staff may approve it. Neutral Faction Leaders may approve/disapprove Neutral Character Rank Transfers.[/color]

A. Major Factions are currently only: The Republic, The Sith Empire, The Underworld & The Horde.
B. A Major Faction has the resources necessary to role-play having a large fleet, army, etc. Until a faction is displaced from the "Major" classification, which only an Administrator can do, it retains these resources.
C. A Major Faction may consist of several Sub-Factions, ie, Minor Factions who's allegiance is to the Major Faction.
ESTABLISHING A MAJOR FACTION
A. You must have at least 10 unique writers signed up to join your faction idea.
B. Major Factions require Administrator approval.

B. A Minor Faction owes no allegiance to a Major Faction, and therefore owns no "Influence" (ie. Planets, Territories) throughout the Galaxy.
C. All Minor Factions must be approved by staff before establishment in the Star Wars: Genesis Galaxy. To submit a Minor Faction idea, apply in this thread: Minor Faction Application Thread
D. A Minor Faction cannot be established with enough military might to displace a Major Faction’s influence. It must build up to this over time and through roleplays.
E. A ruling against a Minor Faction not being able to displace a Major Faction’s influence from a planet must require Board Administrator approval.
