Aurelia Saelari, former Supreme Chancellor of the Republic and Chief Minister of the Protectorate, was restless. Too long her undeniable (at least to her) talents had gone to waste whilst the Republic and Protectorate was led by lesser leaders, leaders who had not pushed the envelope as they should.
Had she been in charge of the Republic still, she thought, the galaxy would have brought under her control. The Sith would have been hunted down and obliterated. Instead of now….
Coruscant was a ruin. As the Senator of Pylos returned to survey the scene she found the wreckage and smoke still scattered everywhere.
Normally they would meet on Anaxes, but today Aurelia had been invited to meet with the new Chancellor, a Hutt named Popo. Whilst Aurelia was many things, being a racist was not one of them. She was quite capable of looking down on all species, regardless of race, colour or creed. The few she chose to view as her equal spanned all the demographics. She would let this Hutt speak before labelling him in her mind.
She approached his office which seemed to have survived the attack, and waited impatiently to be admitted. It was time for Aurelia to return, to show the galaxy just what she could do.
