Republic Soldiers

Honestly no big spiel this time.

Just looking to find new people to join the Republic as soldiers and pilots and we could make an entire group to kicking butt as soldiers doing the work soldiers do as an actual battlegroup.

It seems pretty cool to think about. Have some people as soldiers that put boots on the ground and hang on to their lives as their dropship weaves through flak. Pilots fly around for air support, dogfight, and escort them dropships to the planet. And the navy men bring the big guns as artillery and hold off the enemy capital ships.

I could see some fun rps. Maybe we could attack a pirate base in a huge sequence.

[member="Dallen Thayne"] It's been a hot minute since Symara's been in any type of uniform, she'd be up for joining but not sure if she's all that ready to slip into a new uniform just yet. Currently, she's contracted to be a guard for Senator Ayumi Pallopides. Though, if the Republic asked pretty sure she'd step up and take a few shots on their behalf.

I've been thinking of making a soldier character for the Republic. If you had a dedicated group that was willing to write about stuff like you're saying I would be up for it.

I think Ranks are liberal except for the very top which are checked by the Supreme Commander/Senate

I dunno as I've never tried to rank up but honestly not too hard.

I actually had to look since they split up the armory into space stuff and armor stuff. I know there's more too from private companies who sell to the Republic on a request basis.

Well I'm hoping to actually put the 102nd I keep mentioning in all of Dallen's post together maybe. I've named enough NPCs to actually sub a bridge crew for himself and I figured why not get a whole group. Maybe an onboard officer for the ground troops. People can make squad's. A pilot could head their own squadron. Lots of cool things we could do! I am serious about trying the pirate idea we'd just have to pick a planet and make up the SoBs we'd drop on to keep the hyperlanes safe.

Well let's see if we do manage to get enough it'd be like 2 soldier guys, 1 or 2 security/ground commander, and 1 or 2 pilots abouts.

Wouldn't need a lot of people really.

Looks like if you're all interested we could pull this idea off. And we could plan out a thread to take out a pirate presence somewhere with epic squad action and dogfighting and a dropship or two crashing in flames some people will have to divert to rescue survivors from.
