Strengths:
- Tender Ship: Specializing in maintenance and repair operations, Repair Drones are designed to patch minor damage as well as work in tandem with the rest of their squadron in fixing more severe problems.
- Unarmed: Requiring the space for both the pilot's cognitive systems and its suite of maintenance tools, the Repair Drone boasts no offensive armament to speak of. Left unprotected, the fighters are more or less defenseless.
- No Hyperdrive Capacity: Likewise sacrificed for more room and faster sublight speeds, the Repair Drone is a short range fighter, designed to work in tandem with a carrier, station, or planetary base.
- Droid Brain: While the Mechanicum makes greater strides every day, its engineers have not yet been able to outfit each Repair Drone with true AI. As such, the cognitive capacity of the fighter's droid brain is limited compared to that of an organic pilot. The drone can be outsmarted, outflown, and is susceptible to EMP/ion damage.

Blessed by technomancers, the forges of the Void burn hot and sweet. And though our first offering is modest in scale, our enginseers have divined that the Machine God is pleased. The Motive Force flows through every plate and bolt of the Repair Drone 1.0, the first psalm in an eternal hymn. Each craft longs to serve the Maker in its function, to take its place as one of the Forge-Bound. And there can be no holier purpose, for the fighter is designed to mend the Maker's creations.
With a full suite of diagnostic and maintenance equipment at its disposal, a single Repair Drone can assist larger vessels of the Sacred Fleet in limited system and hull repair. Working synchronously with one another, a whole squadron of drones is capable of conducting greater maintenance and salvage operations. No longer must we fear the loss of a piece of the Machine God's design.
