The Renown-class Frigate was based heavily off the design of the Imperial II-class Frigate. Built by top Lussk Logistics engineers, the Renown-class hit the public market with a bang. Being able to wield a fairly strong arsenal, a decent sized complement, and a large cargo capacity. However, with the engines it currently wields, it is slightly slower than most standard line frigates. The Renown-class sports the trademark Imperial wedge design, giving it limited protection from the rear as well, which leaves the engines vulnerable. It was designed for use of private clients, governments, and various mercenary and pirate organizations who operate the vast expanse of the galaxy.
