Description:
Redshift Station is a lonely waypoint at the edge of Wild Space, convenient to places like Ancora, Torrential, and Zonju V. It's also not terribly far from the Nagai Trade Spine. The Wretched Hive's outlaw techs pieced Redshift together from the wreckage of three space platforms and a couple of bulk freighters. It's a decent spot to rest your head, buy some fuel, and sell whatever knickknacks you picked up along the way.

Redshift Station has also become something of a hub for Wild Space spiritual traditions. Though any comparison to a Jedi Academy would reflect poorly on all involved, Redshift does offer a diverse clientele. It's a little like the holy city of Jedha used to be: unusual robes, regalia, languages, and species, all with radically different understandings of the universe and the Force. Noomay, the Bereth-Aku sage who serves as the Wretched Hive's medic, is known to discuss the Books of Maz Kanata with Redshift's clientele. Other unusual teachers may drop by - Kolatta of Zahat'n'ira, for example, or Eiarra Denirel from Nam Chorios, or one of the Merrills. Someone on Redshift always knows a guy who knows a guy who can get you Marrow & Illskins access.

Where the nearby Temple of Binaros is staunchly Light, Jedi-oriented, and generally quiet, Redshift Station is noisy, grimy, diverse, and more or less nonjudgmental. Out-and-out Sith aren't welcome, but otherwise, just about anything goes. Nobody's in charge, though ORC Judges (people like Jorus Merrill, [member="Dax Fyre"], [member="Leo Vandermolen"], or [member="Bryce Bantam"]) can shut down just about any fuss with a badge or a little tough talk. It's pretty easy to find and claim your own chunk of the station; it's larger than its small and shifting population can fill. As a result, plenty of spacers have their own grimy little quarters or workshops aboard Redshift Station.
