I've got question mark underpants.
I dropped offline for a little while and completely lost my muse for the character I was going to write, so would like to reboot with something different. Would this be possible:
A shapeshifting droid with changeable skill modules, who's primary function is to serve as an escort for men & women who desire one for public functions or private dates. The person hiring would fill out a form indicating preference in species, gender, hair/eye/fur color, type of clothing, level of personal interaction, etc. What the general public doesn't know (but well-paying customers do), is that the date droid can also be programmed with a very decent set of other, non-social skills, such as piloting, cooking, data slicing, or assassination. While it will never be as good as the real thing, it can certainly hold its own in many areas, and is eligible for upgrades as the technology advances.
Thoughts? Does anyone have a company that might want to offer such a thing? If so, all profits would go to you. Non-Force-Sensitive of course, unless somehow a Shard got implanted somewhere down the road.
