Rebellion of Denon

22O54Sg.jpg
There is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. We are everywhere and from the shadows we strike.
The Rebellion of Denon.

The urban world of Denon has bent the knee to the wretched Galactic Republic. While their politicians spread lies of peace, citizens of District Twelve are gunned down in the street with military grade weapons and the senate is cleansed of imperial sympathisers. This is not a peacekeeping operation, it is a coup to rob Denon of its freedom. This is not justice, but whitewashed occupation.

The Jedi have seized this chance to train and recruit new hopefuls in their crusade against the rightful rule of The One Sith. Many prominent Jedi are present as well as their students. This is a chance to strike a vital blow against the Jedi and the future of their order.

Denon is forced to kneel, now it shall rise in cries of rebellion: We will not yield.

The Sith Assassins declare a rebellion on the Galactic Republic's dominion of Denon.

The Yuuzhan Vong have opened the gates. Now, we rise with catchy revolution-tunes and copious amounts of propaganda so that we may return Denon to it's rightful independence.

Join the revolution!

Objectives:
1. Assassinate Republic representatives and puppet-politicians.

2. Push the GR Military forces out of District Twelve. Annihalate the invaders and capture their equipment.

3. Attack the Jedi Enclave and end the Jedi recruitment.

4. Can hear the people sing? Spur the people into rebellion and chase the Republic from the planet's surface.

I am so confused. Wasn't it the Vong, not the assassins who initiated the rebellion? Wouldn't the assassins needed to do that? And are major factions allowed to get involved if it's just the minor faction that is supposed to be doing this thing? Maybe I need to brush up on the rules but this whole thing is really confusing.

I think you guys need to move this. it has to be posted in the OOC forum.

An OOC thread must be made in the Roleplay Discussion forum declaring a Rebellion.

To initiate a Rebellion on a planet, the following conditions must be met by a Minor and/or Major Faction.
  • The thread must meet the requirements of a Tier 3 Dominion.
  • The faction declaring Rebellion can not be the faction that started the Dominion.
  • An OOC thread must be made in the Roleplay Discussion forum declaring a Rebellion.

Yes, hello hello.

So a rebellion heh. Who could have guessed. ;)
We are pioneers here so maybe for the best to keep things simple.
I am not sure those objectives reflects how the GR Dominion story unfolded.

That said, Maybe its for the best to handle it as an invasion with pre pms to decide terms for loss/victory? Or what say you?
I'll be on AFK over the weekend but am ready to start discussing on the 17th again.

Since this is a maiden flight, as it were, it may be best to use the invasion scenario as a last resort and instead treat this as a rebellion. I.e. more from the hip and just go at it, no negotiations, etc. Sounds like fun that way and closer to the intended purpose. No need to over complicate this.

The Triumvirate shall aid in this rebellion.

Long live the Hegemony.

This is a really bad idea to not have at least limitations on fleets, troops, and what not. Otherwise people can just hand wave an entire army under their control and that's not good. Not saying that we need to do the whole objective and terms thing but at least come to an understand of what is and what's not acceptable
