OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Planet Name: Primordia
  • Demonym: Primordian
  • Region: Mid Rim
  • System Name: Primeval
  • System Features: Binary Star System, with a nearby Black Hole, Nebulae Matter surrounding both, causing the black hole to occasionally flare up from infalling material.
  • Location: Somewhere in Glee Anselm's hex
  • Major Imports: Technological Commodities
  • Major Exports: None yet
  • Unexploited Resources: Food, Common Ores
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Temperate
  • Primary Terrain: Grassland, Mountains, Oceans, Tundras, Forests, Deserts
  • Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: [N/a]
  • Planetary Features: The world is utterly wild, untouched by civilization until the last of the Primeval had come to rebuild their civilization. Small structures are being built for its new permanent inhabitants, as well as clearings for those who must come and go between Primordia and elsewhere in the galaxy.
  • Major Locations:
    • The First Landing - This was the location where the first faithful of the Primeval Faith touched down on the previously completely uninhabited world, and also the location the Black Prophet of Balagoth first landed to meet them.
    • The Clearings - These are the surrounding areas where forests were cut so that freighters could land on the surface near the First Landing settlement more easily.
  • Force Nexus (Optional):
Intent: To provide a further reason why Primordia was not discovered until now, and to explain its healthy abundance of life.
Nexus Name: The Touch of Faith
    • Nexus Alignment: Neutral
    • Size: Planetary (Influences everything on the planet. Ex. Byss).
    • Strength: Moderate (A moderate influence on the area and the people on it. Could be altered with a great enough event.)
    • Accessibility: N/a
    • Effects: The Touch of Faith Nexus cacoons Primordia in a veil from the rest of the galaxy who are not "Touched by Faith" so to speak, by obscuring itself to searchers who rely on pure logic, and opens itself only to those who make blind trust their guide. Having an intuition that the world exists, without trying specifically to come across it, shall allow them entry to the paradise world. That is not to say it is impossible to perceive the world clearly and find it through traditional means, but to do so would require great amounts of extra time than would be calculated. Additionally, to all those within the obscuring cacoon, they are filled with a peculiar innate trust in the natural environment of the world and will find themselves plentiful with growth and health.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: N/a
  • Immigrated Species: At least one Starweird, various kinds of Humans, Chiss, Twi-lek, Rodian, Bothan, Bith, etc., others (including a hive mind ecology across the planet not originally native to it)
  • Population: Insignificant, but growing
  • Demographics: Heavily varied, immigrants from all places in the galaxy
  • Primary Languages: Basic, others
  • Culture: The settlement on Primordia is a fresh one still in its infancy, but finds its identity within the Primeval Faith and the worship of four primary Primordial Deities known as Sargon, Nogras, Balagoth, and Halrormalenth. It is their belief that all of creation was an accident of Sargon, a remnant of the void before the universe's creation with the birth of Nogras, the Starmaker. Further, the reason all things change is due to Sargon's second unknowing creation, Balagoth, an unwilling god that brings change to all things, explaining the degradation and entropy of reality, and responsible for the death and reincarnation of all life, and is thus named the Dead One. Halrormalenth, the last and final creation of Sargon (as this god was the tongue of Sargon until it separated from it), is responsible for all creation left unmade by Nogras, to include all of their flaws, and is thus dubbed the Broken Creator. It is their belief that these four gods have been lost to time, and it has become their duty and mission to find these gods and through them achieve omnipotence. This is the standard interpretation of the Primeval faith, but just as its members are as varied as all the populations of the galaxy, so too are the interpretations of the faith. Radically different views of the Primeval faith live side by side as the last remnants of their civilization, and religious debate marks their entire culture, comingling with individuals who might otherwise be considered enemies, united by a common if varied faith. They are a Host of Faithful, lead by their Host Lord Zambrano the Starweird, who acts both as their Prophet and as a Warlord. Cultural practices brought from other worlds are a common sight, as all residents of Primordia are immigrants starting a new life of religious revival. No demographic has claimed dominance over the other cultures, and thus Primordia remains a turbulent melting pot with many different cliches and communities, bound only by their common faith.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Militaristic Theocracy
  • Affiliation: The Primeval Resurgence
  • Wealth: Low The remnants of Primeval civilization is not known for its wealth, but there remains some faithful who may possess a degree of wealth, meaning the disparity between the least wealthy and the most wealthy within its small population will be very great.
  • Stability: Low The settlement is new and fresh, religious and political ideas are in a state of flux, as the united faithful decide what is most important to their society. Laws are still in a state of being made and as such enforcement of common societal laws is low. However, all answers to the word of the Host Lord and his appointed, or may find themselves in a state of pain only imaginable by the Black Prophet.
  • Freedom & Oppression: The inhabits enjoy the common freedoms of pioneers landing on a fresh world of their own discovery, they live and die by their ability to adapt to the environment, which has so far seemed benevolent to the point many hold an implicit trust that they will see providence in respecting their environment. The world is largely lawless as it builds itself from nothing, but faith in the Primeval and its Host Lord is a must, as doubters will be questioned, and if left doubting for too long may find themselves answering to the Black Prophet of Balagoth.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: The world was found by a huge collection of different people of many various origins, wealth, and militarism. As such, their military is composed of a decentralized host of independent Warships and armies of beasts.
  • Technology: Technology is sparse and hard to come by for the common citizen of Primordia, but they have found providence in the natural environment of the planet. Many own starships, however, as that was their means of coming to the planet, and they are not ignorant in the use of technology by any means.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

For millions of years, Primordia was not known by any name, hidden in a nebula and protected by a nearby black hole, few travelers ever ventured towards it. The life which grew on it became so abundant and so powerfully connected to the world without outside influence, it seemed to harmonize into an idyllic ecosystem, where all life fulfilled a role so well it molded the living force around it. This nexus of living energy seemed to exert its influence to surrounding the world, and further prevented its finding.

It was not until the return of the Black Prophet of Balagoth, Zambrano the Starweird, revealed its location to the last faithful left in the galaxy to the Primeval Faith. Primordia had been the world in which the entity had first awoken as a Starweird, and after many years it finally had reason to return. Now hundreds of the Primeval individuals flock to Primordia as a new settlement, to begin anew their fallen civilization on a world untouched by the unfaithful.

  • Region: Mid Rim/Unknown Regions
Mid Rim and Unknown Regions are two different regions. It has to be one or the other. Glee Anselm is located in the Mid-Rim.

So pick one and hyperlink it.
  • Location: Somewhere near or in Glee Anselm's hex
Pick one here, too. Either the hex with Glee Anselm or a specific hex adjacent to it.

  • Immigrated Species: At least one Starweird, near-humans, SwarmSurge, others
Please hyperlink Starweird and SwarmSurge. Also near-humans is an extremely broad category. You don't need to list every single variation, but a sample of species would be helpful.

Also could you expand on Culture a bit? You've provided a detailed description of the Primeval faith, but some information on culture specific to the planet would be helpful, especially since the immigrants are apparently rather diverse in terms of homeworld, species, wealth etc.

You could also connect this to past Primeval rp, as the religious movement was a galactic power for a good while, then collapsed in a brutal civil war. Now it has been reborn. I figure this would affect cultural practices and the outlook of the faithful quite a bit as they colonise this wild, untamed world.

The following changes have been made:
  1. Mid-Rim, and the Glee Anselm hex have been selected
  2. Immigrated Species: At least one Starweird, various kinds of Humans, Chiss, Twi-lek, Rodian, Bothan, Bith, etc., others (including a hive mind ecology across the planet not originally native to it)
    1. I was not able to locate a singular link for the Swarm Surge (not my creation but I had permission to use), so I have simply indicated that some kind of hive mind appears to be present within the planet's ecology that is not otherwise native to the planet, indicating some arrival prior to the Primeval Resurgence.
  3. Addition to Culture at the end: Cultural practices brought from other worlds are a common sight, as all residents of Primordia are immigrants starting a new life of religious revival. No demographic has claimed dominance over the other cultures, and thus Primordia remains a turbulent melting pot with many different cliches and communities, bound only by their common faith.

Ok, I had a look and I think you're right. There's no one species sub, just various individual ones. The writer seems to have had a minor faction, but that got archived along with every other faction forum during the site migration.

To make it easier for new readers to understand what you're referencing since we're talking about an original Chaos canon creation others might not be familiar with, you could link a sample of these creatures. Basically it's a sample of beings connected to the hive ecology, without explicitly saying those are the only ones.
