Description: Rather than reinvent the turbolaser, Phenex settled on simply improving the standard support package that they used to keep them firing long after others would have to stop. Sinking the components into a ship's hull is nothing new, but Phenex built each turret with its own targeting package and a back-up plasma based powercell to improve reliability and independence in each gun. From there priority was given to targeting systems housed in the two 'ears' of the turret. Optical targeting units were installed to help combat the prevalence of ECM, but due to the nature of their high magnification, they only have about a thirty degree field-of-view making the gunners need to have a general idea of where the enemy is when targeting this way. Which isn't really a problem when exchanging broadsides with other capital ships as you can just follow their fire back. An electronic targeting package helps cut through battlefield obscurations and includes a rangefinder and thermal scope. As the electronic package implies, the Mk-II also holds a small standard sensor suite but most gunners prefer to simply use the host ship's as most turbolasers do as the turret's sensors are prone to jamming and primarily only serve as back-up should something happen to the primary suite. When not in use, an armored flap covers the delicate sensors and cameras to protect them from stray debris.

Other than the mentioned reserve back-up power and targeting, the only thing that stands out about these guns is the light mix of ostrine added to the housing of the firing systems to assist with cooling over long engagements but is too negligible to add any other benefits. The Mk-II can be fired in successive barrels, a one-two, or a two-two pattern depending on if dual/triple/or quad pattern as applicable; and of course firing power may be turned down if so desired, but these are often considered standard features and are just mentioned for sake of completeness. The Mk-II does not have exterior railings or hatches leading outside as that'd be silly and would undermine the armoring, and is only on the prototype (pictured) to assist with testing access.

One question.
What is its output compared to a Standard Turbolaser? I am assuming the same as a standard, but I am asking to be sure.

One edit. Could you remove the 'None' part of this line:

Done. Its completely the same as standard unless you go with a heavy/long range version in which case it's the same as standard for those, these also fire no faster than usual. This is mostly just fluff about supporting systems.
