Peaches anyone.... (open to all)

In the beginning there was only darkness around. In that mist there was always hope that one could cling to. It had been a long time since having her beginning in this order. In that time she had went through many trials. Some she had past without much effer others had been more trying.

Flowing all around her was life. It had taken her years to get to the level that she was at now. Many many trails had put her to the test with her believe. In a way she very different not only for being physical she was a Zeltron but also for how wisdom had taken her way from what was socially norm for her race to be.

Life that was what keep deep within her. That the ability not want to do any harm to anyone. Is that what all that came to be so dear to her could see flowing from her. Showing her empathy had not once gotten her way over her head but it seem daylily she had to face.

Her lips curving upward into a grin came the very face she loved and cared for so deeply. Xander coming to her mind more than the others, it wasn't that she felt a bond with him it went deeper than the rest. Long ago she had tried to run from it, but now knowing that this was the force that had a hand it. Two side of the force she being that of the purest light, but him being of light also but of a different kind that had more of a drive to see all darkness rooted out of this galaxy.

Xander where are you, my sweet sweet darling.

The grandmaster how she missed seeing her lovely face, along with the rest of those she had now called her closest friends. Conner there friendship had been tested more than once but it had been worked through even when she had been emotional confused of what she felt with them. Even then the flashing of their first adventure as Shadow come flowing threw her mind.

Now came her children all three of them where ever her son Conner maybe. Not giving up hope that one day she would have him save back in her loving motherly arms.

As she sat in front of the tree of life one that she had nursed back to health. Thinking that it was nothing but burnt tree already taken all the way in darkness. It was what she felt in the heart of it a little pulse then there was more and more. Just like when she felt with her first padawn wondering what had came of her along with the others of that shared their wisdom with her even those at time she was headstrong. Waiting as she did in this play full of life she was never alone any more as the deep roots she know how to all that life that flowed around her living.

Blossoming joy from nearby, the sensation of peace as he walked was a welcome rest from his older companions of tension and constant alertness. At first the large Epicanthx had thought it coming from the tree, Kei being less attuned to the subtleties of life, and so put his hand to it, inspecting the tree's branches.

Whereas you might see eloquence and harmony from the Zeltron, she might see roughed grizzled soldiering from the other, quite a contrast to remind her really how far she had come perhaps? Still settling in Kei was not out of his green combat fatigues and black t-shirt yet, but he had left most of his kit behind in his quarters, only wearing a small backpack, a blaster pistol and his saber unity on his hip.

He dropped his backpack off to the side, unclipping his pistol but keeping it within easy reach, picking a spot where he could see everything, a force of habit when you were used to watching your back daily.

A firm nod was given to the stranger, not sure on her name or position here, “Miss.” He stretched his arms out, still not used to having his feet on solid ground. Only being a short time, Kei was having a hard time letting go truth be told, and finding that peace their Jedi Temple offered. Something the lady opposite unknown to him had found a great deal of.

[[ah hell I have the weekend and hopefully Susie Q you'll come back to us for this]]

It was quite a sight to behold as Matsu was working herself into a frenzy almost, her energies spiking for a moment as the jedi pushed her hands into the wall and focused on generating the force within the earth and the world into her own energies. She could and knew how to manifest it to aid her in a fight but she wanted to use it o replace and augment her own skills once again. Without the need to focus on her limbs and body being in pain all the time she had been opened to more of the force as she pushed her hands through and then her body giving it a smirk. She stood there for a moment letting the energy crackle off her skin for a moment until she was holding her hands to her knees breathing in greedy gulps of air.

[member="Kei Amadis"]

Knowing before this one came into her view point he was there. As if leaving a force print as he walk. Not one that she recognized. Feeling coming of him, wasn't one of darkness. More of a feeling that had seen darkness and battled. Calmness she had around her keeping it flowing the harmony that still keep herself balance.

Her hearing heighten upon his foot steps around the tree. Giving a time for searching until coming to a stop. Her eyes open up showing of the dark pink eyes of her. Giving a smile, Greetings, Sir.", waiting for a time before speaking again.

Letting her robe flow around her as if it was a part of her body. Sliver dancing in the sun light that ray hit her face to give it the warmth. "If what you search for you will not find it in that tree, come and sit.", patting a place on the ground. As if the grass was at her understand as if parted to make room.

"I afraid I have not seen you before," being gone for so long would knowing bring new faces to the order.

Knowing that she should first introduce herself. "Master Healer Whitelight."

“Miss” settling in, not long knighted for his past actions, the Epicanthx grinned at the offer to sit, the grass parting was an interesting turn of events, not unlike gentle care taken to not upset the natural balance. Kei wasn’t near as subtle or careful, even slightly clumsy for a Jedi, but seeing that she was, he did his best not to disturb the ground too much as he sat, showing a care and consideration for where he was.

“Amadis, Master Whitelight, Kei Amadis.” The Epicanthx extended his hand to Maya and nodding, “recently knighted.” He’d not met [member="Matsu Ike"] before either, but had heard Taiden talk of their trip together, and he did so fondly, which Kei thought was odd for the usually reserved Echani.

“Knight Ike,” Kei nodded to [member="Matsu Ike"], pulling his pack and weapon to his side, to drop them at rest. He did not pick up she was injured or unwell, he might have done if his senses were more honed, sharp, or subtle, like [member="Taiden Keth"]’s were developing to be. Kei was much more direct and blunt, which had its drawbacks and benefits.

“How are you both?”

Definite tension in his head and neck, he was releasing it slowly through the force. Maya was the opposite of the life he had known, the mirror opposite, and it drew him to her to sit and listen. “What do I feel?” Kei asked directly. The force obviously but taken to a place beyond peace, to somewhere he hadn't seen it taken before.

[member="Maya Whitelight"] | [member="Matsu Ike"]

Playing Kei as a Knight in this one now if nobody minds given the time period, tweaked the first post very slightly.

[member="Matsu Ike"] [member="Kei Amadis"]

Letting Matsu finish up what she was doing before speaking to her first, "It is good to breath again." giving her a wink. After which she return her focus back towards [member="Kei Amadis"].

Its a pleasure to met you, Amadis.

Couldn't but look him over not only with her eyes, but also letting the fingers of the force reach out to get a feel for him. It wasn't like she didn't know of what was out there. Even if she didn't carry the scars on the out side they was still there inside. To see her now one couldn't even guess what she done went through to get to this peace.

Feel around how alive this place is in the force

Letting herself breath very slowly, as she she blended into everything around her. To understand how to blend into one environment one must first know how the life for works, understand it to a greater level.

Kei’s understanding of life was very blunt, practical. He sat comfortably, trying to emulate Maya, trying to relax, but that only met with limited success. Trying was the problem, as it often was when you were out of your comfort zone. Thankfully Kei knew that by this point in his training, and so let go.

The force energy was there, calming and subtle, but little else was achieved, little else was done. Doing, wanting to protect or help, he couldn’t let go of that trait, and that was his biggest weakness and biggest strength.

“Master Whitelight. What do you do, when you feel the need to help.” It was simple, an easy question and not. When it defined you and motivated you, Knights had to be free to ask these questions, had to be free to grow, here they were, and so here is where his heart was. Kei wasn’t a perfect Jedi and wouldn’t ever be, but he was a Jedi, and would always be.

The Epicanthx looked to Maya as a Jedi Master for instruction, and guidance.

[member="Kei Amadis"]

In that moment came a rush. Once it came to pass memeriories from the past flowed out. Being able to control herself a bit more than most. Letting her eyes that been so watchful ever since Kei sat down beside her.

“Helping we must to make the galaxy a better place. In many ways there is times where one has to step back to see if help is really needed or if be interfering into something we do not understand.”,

After the last word left her tongue, she let her head turn away from him her eyes closed. Going deep within her very soul. Many times she had jumped in to help only to be stung or worth yet to cause more problem then their was to begin with.

“One thing we must remember that with the force help we need to help those that can not take care of themselves. To protect against the darkness of some of this galaxy. Other time we must step back and look at the big picture. This Kei is easier said than done.”

Flashing back to some of her own experience.

Opening her eyes once again upon Kei, “There will be times where one will not want help, I know this from personal experience that when one must step back be there, ready to jump in when needed.”

Didn’t even know if she making sense herself, or that one could glen anything off the top of this. Yes there was a reason why she had disappeared for so long, leaving the twins with their father [member="Xander Carrick"].

Kei listened hard. He didn’t have her peace yet, but he had the peace of this place, and it was growing in him, part of the order and proud to be. He rested his knees forward, arms over them, his large hands folded together.

It was hard to hear, but he had to hear it. This was his biggest, biggest challenge to face, and he could see it facing him plain as day. This was his past and the core of him.

“That helps.” Kei said with a grin, he could see that she had guidelines but was human like everyone else, and she’d made mistakes. She was the most peaceful person he’d ever met, that joy, but behind it was hard experience, he could relate.

“Thanks Master Whitelight,” Kei nodded firmly, pulling his weapon around and beginning to check his lightsaber hilt, nothing if not thorough in the care for his weapon, his guardianship of anyone who needed it. “Times to step back,” Kei scratched his chin, tough for him, very tough. “I find it hard,” he admitted honestly. “When you can see the answer, but they can’t see it. To let go.” His brow creased momentarily, he took in a deep breath himself, feeling the force through him, and calming his tension.

[member="Maya Whitelight"]

Nothing was every easy to the path that one choose to go down, even then there is time where their will be forks and bends in what should be a straight forward path. How did she know this as she had her own experience to chalk that up to. Seeing that he was now letting some of the tension.

Reaching out touching his hand first to stop him. Taking his saber in her hand, which was much bigger then she was use to handling. "Yes using one weapon. When to use it when to know how to place up barriers that is the tricky question. We must all learn when to be peacekeeper another way. Knowing it will take more to keep the balance of the galaxy."

Giving back his weapon, also standing up herself now with the slender fitting sliver robe that covered her full body. Showing that she was indeed a sage with no weapons in sight or to hide. Putting a hand upon the tree of life, its had a beating heart like all other living thing. "This tree I found burn from some great battle long ago, to one not so deeply in tune with the force. Wouldn't felt the little seed of hope that was barred deep with in. It was my life force that gave it more then hope it gave it life.

Taking another deep breath before pulling from her hair her large hair clip, with jewels something that she was never with out. Fitting neatly in her small petite hand. "When one can put this down, think with their mind. A situation that seem to have no other end but with blade then you have lost focuse of what truely means to understand one with different believes. battle then all is lost for good with the one that choose that darken path,, we must be better then sith show them by other means not with the end of a blade.", handing him her lightsaber that look more or less something that could only be used in defense only. If he turn it on by the larger blue gem, with the end of the hand cap had her tribal tattoo of a blazing sun. Its blade being a very bright yellow, but also shorter then most full size blade.

[member="Kei Amadis"]

“Yes.” Kei understood the gesture when Maya gave him back his weapon, telling him the correct way to use it, not as a soldier or martial instructor, as a healer and Jedi would. That was something he’d never had before, the philosophy of someone who’d lived, really lived it and come out the other side. The ex soldier looked at the weapon hard, and placed it to his belt.

He looked at the tree instead, “What happened to him?” The tree looked like it had been saved, what about the man that burned it? “Brought it back, how?” Kei touched the tree again, pushing his arm to it. His senses to these kind of things were dull, they weren’t what they could be, not yet. His body wasn't able to sense more subtle energies only things that were readily there.

The weapon she gave him next was different, it felt different. His was originally built to be assembled as a soldier would, precise, but focused on deliberate offense, Maya’s felt entirely receptive, defensive. “Many that followed me died, or fell.” He admitted, getting it off his chest. “How do I let that go.” Their deaths, their sacrifices, they’d known the danger when they’d started the Aol, but they went anyway, here he was still alive, and they weren't.

Releasing his grip on the tree, the Epicanthx looked at her, lump in his throat. “How did you let it go?”

Matsu had a small look on her face as she was listening to the conversation. Sitting there for a moment with her eyes more like black pools listening and taking it all in. Though she was comparing what she knew of Maya to what she was hearing now and it was a strange thing to see. More so because as she listened her pupils narrowed for a moment before speaking and floating over towards her.

"An interesting ideal but very simple master Whitelight. It is not simply throwing aside a blade that will solve things. Nature in all its splendor is conflict. The smallest organisms fight to grow and become stronger, pulling themselves from the bottom to become more advanced through survival. Evolving and changing to become more." Her eyes remained on the tree as she sat down with a small look on her face.

[member="Maya Whitelight"] [member="Kei Amadis"]

Giving Kei a nod as she offered letting her peace flow out of her as if she herself was one with the nature around the garden. It was a beauty to behold not only the outward beauty that she held but also within herself. Even as she prepared to answer first to [member="Kei Amadis"]. "that is a mystery that I have yet to uncover, as it happen long ago 1000s of years ago. Something that time had wrapped its layers around."

"Just like the path we have choose its many layers, you ask a very simple question." pausing now to look over to [member="Matsu Ike"] with a pitting look upon her face. In was moment like this that she knew that not all would understand the path that now took her. Of the true light of the force one that met if need to be giving up her own life to be one with it. Forever freeing of one physical form, yes this was the true enlightenment that very few achieve.

"Time, Kei if you would like we can speak of it deeper, I can help you with starting you on this path." feeling what could only be coming to her it wasn't an echo but something more it was screaming at her that one need to calm one soul, to have balance but knowing that wasn't for her to do. Placing a on upon his shoulder looking at him deeply with her own eyes.

" Knight Ike, you have a lot to learn in your journey in the force, but its not my place for you to understand its for yours and yours alone. Look at what happen to all the trees the grass, the flowers the plant life. If truly there was a battle going on then each one would want to snuff out each of the nature wanting to out life the other but do you see that no..that is right what you see is harmony, not battle. Just like the dark and light side of the force there must be hamory one has to be as the other, like a married. One must learn to forgive the other and like wise to know the forces grand plan that is for every flowing in each one of us."

Kei nodded to Maya’s touch, and gesture. With that moment of comfort and contact, she may or may not see his father, someone she had known well, Connor’s father, or at least the small hints of it. She might also see two young Amadis boys at play too, not connor but brothers, not that Kei would know that.

It was hard to let go the need to intervene. He was, guided by the force, learning when to intervene and when not. That was there too, and it made him more grounded in the Jedi’s ideals. Like here, the old Kei would have jumped in to help keep them both agreeing, but the new Kei saw the need for more than one opinion to give a full perspective.

The Epicanthx heard what Matsu said and he grinned, he was if anything between their opinions, sitting between them here on the grass. His saber unity at times like this aptly named, for the bridge he wanted to be. He saw the need to act, and he saw the need to heal. Everyone had a wound or pain, and animals had to eat.

“Thank you, both of you.” He grinned, and sat back, more comfortably.

“Whatever advice you have Master, and you Knight Ike. I’d appreciate it. I feel responsible for those that were under my command.” An old army instructor might have said good, you should, but here it was time to let that go.

Maybe they could all help each other go away the wiser, stranger things had happened.

Matsu looked at Maya and her eyes were looking past her as she moved. Speaking before her feet touched the grass. "I see the plants producing oxygen by consuming molecules. I see them absorbing the small organisms in the water with their roots and using them to fuel their harmony as you put it. You are a great healer Maya for the most part but I have spent the time manifesting the force through nature."

her hands shifted now while she crouched down whispering with energies to the movements of her hands. The sigil on her chest glowing while whisps of energy shimmered into a visible spectrum. "The life of the world for those who can see it, the generation of the force feeding into your hands can allow you to listen to the heartbeat of a planet." She looked near Kei and spoke holding a hand up with the energy.

"It is both simple and complicated and there is no right answer with the force despite what many would have you believe. When I was severed from the force, none believed I would be able to recover but I found harmony in this... That life finds a way. It takes the chaos and creates order before allowing you to exist." Now she held out her arm extended with visible wraps of generated force energy.

"Take this and don't lose focus, you can find answers when you listen but does the world worry about the ones on its surface? It doesn't, it will feed them, it will protect them and it will call for their deaths. A commander must be willing to be all things, the one giving the orders knowing there is a chance of death for them, a general protecting them, a parent even guiding them to be better. Some will do it from a desk and some from the field."

Giving off a small nod to [member="Kei Amadis"], with her own soothing way of empathy she held with in herself. Even so she waited until after [member="Matsu Ike"]. Listening watching how she would explain the way she knew of the force. Even as she remember her past wasn't with out her own scars. There was always the past which one would do different but the key to this all what did one learn of the every current flow.

"Its a beauty when you are able to be one with the force around that every living thing have how they enter weave with one another, for the good of this place. Old gives away to new even these tree some day will give away to newer life until then they are forever flowing circle of force.

One only need to learn that we many be given command but really are we in command or we just a tool in the force as its force that decide on life and death we are just a tool, so we ourselves must be at peace with with ours. It still good to hold memoirs but let to let it just ever thing living has its time and place. I know Kei its easier said then done. Glen what must then medicate on it letting all that was spoken by me and Knight Ike." , knowing that they came from to different views of how the force works. Even so she let the energy natural flow in her and out threw her own hands as if it was current control not her at all, not having to call upon but it being their to fell and used when need.

"Listen to the sound that the wind makes, then fill the flow of it note that isn't the same, as their is season we have our own season we must let new growth come then purely we can let go of the last seasons and begin a new one their will always be death, but we can look at it as a joy. "

As they talked, he realised more about himself, and the order.

Maya was a natural born healer who had found serenity, Matsu was at home with natural force energies and saw intricacies within. What he was he now? A protector, a guardian? Wanting to protect every individual here he saw walking around. He saw that as his duty. When they spoke he found himself wanting to protect their own individuality and expressions of the force. Every Jedi that was lost, or couldn’t be who they were, they lost one more of those, an expression that would never come the same way again. [member="Wren"] | [member="Connor Harrison"]

Focused on the light in front of him, the need to jump in and tell them this wasn’t so pressing. He was learning to just let things be, and let people be. When to act and not to. Matsu giving him a practical application of the force in his hand helped. A commander must be all things Matsu had said, would he one day be again or was that past? He brought his hand to Matsu’s hand, closing his palm above hers to receive the energy, a small piece of the energy from the planet passed to him. Kei held it out in front of him, glowing, and focused on it. Damned, that was new. That energy and light, made everything else seem simple.

Philosophy, Kei wasn’t a thinker, but they had made him think here, showing him who he was, then bam. “Severed from the force Matsu?” He’d want to be guarding people against that! You better believe it had his interest.

Acceptance, he must learn to accept things: Whether that be duelling a Sith, planting a tree, leading a fleet, holding back, or letting someone go. Turning to Maya, he gave her a long look. For the good of this place, a circle of the force. He nodded. "Good of the place, the people and the order" He could see that. Kei listened to the sound of the wind, understanding some of what she meant, but “joy?” That was something the ex-solider hadn't yet found.

In no small way he envied the connection both had established in their individuality, realising his own connection, not just for him but for others.

The gifted light and intuition in his hand flickered, but stayed there, lighting and calming the way.

Matsu looked at Maya for a moment keeping herself from saying something sharp and quick. Her attention thankfully going back to Kei as he spoke and she bowed her head. "Yes but it is something limiting. I was fortunate the ones doing it weren't very skilled or knowledgeable. If they had been students of mine like master Whitelights former master Vulpesen they might know severing a lightsider from the darkside of the force can only do so much... but with a little knowledge and you can heal such wounds."

Not that she was bitter, her smirk was on her face now while she stood there and moved her fingers around the swirls of energy. She held for a moment before she was moving a little. "It is what makes a person, the ability to let go or forgive.... in this case I placed it and any feelings of failure into the same place I did allowing friends to die or lives that have been taken. The past, whatever you have done Kei, however you have failed or whoever you have lost realize that it is the past and you cannot change it but you can learn from it. You can learn to be better or in some cases use it to make yourself stronger."

Now she held a small smirk on her face and reached down with the strands of force energy clinging to her in visible webs before rushing into the ground and bringing up a small formed seat of earth. "And when you learn to use all your experiences as something, not just the bits from your lessons you liked. You can change far more around you. Or learn to see the galaxy in a shard of ice, feel from across the galaxy your men, your friends. As I can feel her master like a pulse behind my eye."

[member="Kei Amadis"] [member="Matsu Ike"]

Listening to Kei ask the question about her being severed from the force itself. As much as she had been around Ike she had to ask herself. What had been the full reason for this to come about. Never had she let her light shine so brightly as it did now. It coming to her the harmony that one could feel out of the respect for the nature. Could ponder on it more, came Kei long look. It made something inside of her freeze for that moment in time. Just where had seen that look before. It was the way those eyes took upon her. Making her feel as if. If her skin wasn't the color of pink, one would see her getting very pale. Shaking herself from what couldn't be.

It being so long ago, one couldn't help but not want to see what happen in the past stay their. It was going back to when her son born. That she still had a part of her heart at. Seeking she would always be doing.

Before it happen she could feel something that would make a shift in the very ground that gave life. Couldn't be one of her father friends son, the one that their seem to be a baby born from. That is where she had heard that name from, just started to work full for her father in his "business". Only half listening to what Knight Ike not trying to be disrespectful at all. It as if her pass caught up to her.

"it cant be"

Bring back to focus to there had been upset with the harmony of the place she wonder just why one would do such a thing to nature to build a sitting place when the ground was more then enough. It came down to one needing to show what one could do in the force she had to guess but this wasn't her place to speak out loud on this matter. No just the opposite.

"Kei who is your father"

Even before kei could ask a question or even comment on what Knight Ike had said. Came her own question to Kei. Reaching out to touch his face. This couldn't be this young sweet little boy that was ways finding a way to be close to her as he was now. Giving off something deeper inside of her. Knowing that to her that the way they was going it wasn't going to be a easy life for this one.

Trying to remember what he use to call her.

Kei’s biggest lesson here was it was no longer about how he felt, it was about how they felt as a whole, so he stopped speaking, listening hard to Matsu and all she said. He was one man, one Jedi now and that was more than enough to be part of something, that's what he had learned at the end of all of this.

“You’ve been through a lot Matsu,” Kei said with some care in his eyes, “appreciate your advice.” He understood a lot of what she meant, using everything that had come up as life experience, and force experience. She made a lot of sense, it shaped the abilities he was manifesting in tune with who he was. “What do you see when you look at Voss?” Matsu had a different way of looking at the world, a perspective he might never have, that’s what made them unique, and valuable to the force.

Then letting go of the past... sometimes had a funny way of bringing it back, but better than before.

“Dad? Dal Amadis” Kei answered simply to Maya. Not thinking anything of it, not until she touched his face... Removing his white oblong holo-locket he handed it over for a picture, The look he gave her, was exactly the same, twenty years and more removed, as that kid on the grass did all those years ago to a teenage Maya, when they'd first met.

Kei's father's projected image - Dal Amadis

Kei as a child remembered links between things better than isolated names or events, the touch to the name that came into his mind, was one very good example. "Pink... Sun?" His expression reformed, and he put his hand to her outstretched arm, a huge grin forming as one connection from his past came to life. "I knew there was something about you!"

As one past connection left him, one new one had grown in its place.
