Passing Through is Common

The spaceport in Chasin City was a busy one. It was a heart of the planet, on the edge of Commenor Systems Alliance space that bordered Free Worlds Coalitions territory. Trade was booming, despite the turmoils of the Galaxy's far corner.

Kay didn't always travel through private ports. Yes she was the Queen, but she wasn't born into this role. She took it through unfortunate circumstances resulting from her months long abduction and torture by an enemy that has never come back. Just as she did in the past, she liked to be among those that she served; to see them, talk to them and understand their concerns.

Today was one of those days. With a few uniformed security personnel, she exited the space port. It was there that she spotted Orion. He stood still while the others moved past. Was he lost? It was only when she neared him that she smelled the alcohol scent that tended to hang around those that drank a lot. He looked rough around the edges. Maybe he was escaping the wars? It was difficult to say.

"Excuse me. You look a bit lost. Do you need a lift somewhere? Or directions?"

Exactly a year had passed since Orion had left the Jedi Order. When he left he was bored and tired of the Jedi way of life, it had become a burden on his life. Stress and boredom due to the Jedi Code began to set in and whilst he dealt with it initially he no longer cared for being a Jedi, he no longer took pride in the title Jedi Master... this is where his drinking habits began.

He had spent all night and all morning in some shady bar waiting for transport to someplace from another place, Orion wasn't sure where he was going or where he was travelling from. The days had turned into weeks and weeks into months as he spent the last of his money to get to somewhere he might be able to find fulfilling work and a meaning to his life... he boarded the small ship and passed out.

He woke to the sound of hustle and bustle, the bright lights and loud noises only hurt his head even more. "Ugh... I hate this place already." He groaned and got to his feet. As the crew landed at the spaceport he was able to sneak off whilst the captain was sorting out arrangements to refuel. This way he was able to keep the remaining credits he had and spend it in the nearest bar, if he could find one.

He stumbled out of the spaceport and looked round, focusing on what was around him. Orion mainly used his force abilities to concentrate when he's hungover especially when searching for a new place to drink. He stood still in the waves of people that moved passed him, looking... searching... then a voice called out to him.

"Me?" He said as he turned his attention to the women, his eye then swiftly moved to each one of her guards and their weapons. Weary, he moved his arms when he spoke to reveal his lightsaber hanging from his hip. "Yea' I'm lost, I'm seeking purpose for my life, a job for my money problems and another drink for my hangover. If you could take me to either of those I'd be grateful." He bowed to the lady, a cocky yet playful smirk appeared on his face.

Kay raised a brow ever so slightly as [member="Orion Vikarson"] displayed his lightsaber. So he was a Force User and a bold one at that, driven to drink like a few other people she knew well. Was that a problem? Possibly. Yet she wasn't the type to give up on people or to throw them away because they were misfits. She had an odd knack of attracting them to her. The Force certainly was a strange thing.

His smirk and bow brought a small smile to her face. He had a sense of humour. That was far better than just being grumpy. Kay bowed her head to him. "Come with us then and we'll see if we can solve at least one of your problems." She gestured for him to follow, her guards almost rolling their eyes for a moment before they composed themselves and kept a watchful eye on the drunk. It seemed that their Lady was bringing home another stray.

Kay led them to an awaiting speeder, climbing inside. "What's your name, by the way? Where did you come from?"
