The Panatha Crystal amplifies fear and anxiety in association with phobias. When used as a primary lightsaber crystal, this crystal will allow that force user to channel the fear of others and use it as a boost to their force abilities. As a secondary crystal it will only allow the force user to feel the increase in fear and anxiety within the area. As either primary or secondary, the crystal allows force users to better focus themselves.
Strengths:
Phobia: Amplifies fear within a five foot radius, and increases phobia related anxieties.
Increased Focus: Allows the user to better focus themselves either in combat or out.
Willpower: Affects can be overcome or negated by having enough willpower to overcome one’s fear/phobias.
Batteries: The more often the crystal is used, the stronger it grows and it will require more energy. Users will need to modify their lightsabers to be able to handle the increase in demand.
Madness: Will eventually turn against force users making them paranoid upon repeated use of the crystal/lightsaber. The user will start to think that they're seeing their phobias come after them - driving them mad.
Bonded: Once a lightsaber is activated with this crystal it begins to form a bond. This enables the user to channel the crystal’s unique properties, but it also allows for the crystal to begin corrupting the user.
The crystal on its own was formed beneath the surface of Panatha, and more importantly imbued with fear. Fear of the God-King, [member="Darth Carnifex"] and his God-Prince [member="Darth Prazutis"]. The dark side runs rampant throughout the planet. Due to this there are fields of skeletons, unmarked graves that gave way when the earth shifted. Those remains broken and battered fell into the liquid rock as it formed. Creating the Panatha Crystal or the Fear of the God-King, this crystal radiates with fear creating an increase in anxiety most notably anxiety when one comes face to face with their phobias.
There are two caves in which this crystal can be found, but to do so requires a great amount of willpower and strength over your own fears. Otherwise the longer you remain, the more your fears prey on you and the more paranoid you may become by being there.
You'll start to see your phobias coming for you one by one, until you are either dead or you've escaped the caves.
The caves are connected to each other and lead to the God-King's castle. Remains of those who've tried to find the crystal are laid to bear. The crystal cares not if you are light or dark, for everyone fears something - even the God-King himself Kaine Zambrano.
Mishel Ren acquired the crystal through trade, she once made the attempt to get this crystal herself. She nearly died in doing so, she was saved only by her bodyguard [member="Alkor Centaris"] who managed to pull the teenager out of the cave's radius.
