Ortega was born on Krieg in one of the Shi'lai tribes, Her father being the warrior and diplomat Koth, Who would one day be adopted into Clan Naudir by their Alor, Falken Naudir. Her mother however died in childbirth, But she was taken in by Falken's adopted Daughter, The great warrior togruta Ha'ki White Eyes. Ha'ki taught Ortega to defend herself as a child, Raising her in mandalorian fashion as her adopted father had raised her, Teaching both Ortega and her eventual half-sister, Ko'tii Naudir to become great warriors in their own right. Adopting the "No nonsense" attitude of most chiss, Ortega rose through the ranks of Clan Naudir's military forces whilst they colonized krieg during her youth, Earning the respect of her warrior kin for her tactical mind and her defeat of a Kriegir Spice eel.
Eventually she became captain of the Royal Guard of Krieg, And served as falken naudir's personal bodyguard for many years, Until he resigned her to protect her sister, Ko'tii, Whilst Falken joined his biological daughter

in the invasion of taanab. Without Ortega at his side, He was struck in battle and would later die of a mysterious illness. Then it fell to her to Guard Vhei "Wasp" Naudir after her ascension to the throne of krieg in her father's place, And even Vhei Naudir's warmaster and lover,
Darsch Vizsla
. It wasn't long before the sith had ambushed the queen on Aeten II, Killing her while Ortega had been ordered to stay behind. Though she had her orders, Ortega took it very personally, Seeing it as her biggest failure in life. She resigned from the guard soon after, And the New Imperial Order moved in, Taking the planet without firing a single shot. Now she lives out in the deserts of Krieg among the Shi'lai and mandalorian tribes, Guarding both her little sister Ko'tii and her tribe from the gamorrean hordes that dominate the wastelands.

⨹ Tomboys: Ortega is a woman of specific tastes. She is a tomboy through and through, And has a certain degree or respect for other women like herself, Especially warriors.
⨹ Porgs: She would never admit it to anyone but the most trusted of friends, But Ortega has always been fond of the porgs that lived on the rocky shores of her old home, And even trained them once.
⨹ The quiet ones: Ortega is a woman of few words, Finding it difficult to hold long conversations. Anyone who shares this trait is likely to not only share an understanding with the chiss mandalorian, But keep her attention longer.
⨺ Sith: Her queen was slain by sith trickery, Her people nearly driven to extinction by the dark sorcerers. There is no enemy as wretched as the Sith, No backstabber quite like them either. She has no tolerance for their kind, And will always work to ensure their destruction whenever possible.
⨺ Arrogance: Actions speak louder than words, And she learned it the hard way. There are few enemies more wretched in her mind than a boasting loud mouth, Whom she will seek to silence at every turn. "All helmet, No head" is a term one she may her repeat to herself when encountering these types.
⨺ Inefficiency: Above all other things, Ortega hates Inefficiency with a passion. She was a born a warrior and raised a tactician who, Like many chiss, Values efficiency on the battlefield a great deal. To detract from that efficiency could cost her, And she finds this unacceptable.

⨹ Protective - Ortega has been trained her entire life to become a bodyguard to the royal family of krieg, Having a natural desire to protect those close to her built up over a lifetime. To have Ortega as a friend is to have a true guardian for life.
⨹ Nightvision - As a chiss woman, Ortega can naturally see almost as well in the dark as she can the light.
⨺ Woman of few words Ortega is short spoken, And to the point. This is useful on the battlefield, But social situations are simply awkward for her.
⨺ Stranger in a strange land - While Ortega may be Chiss by blood, She is mandalorian by creed, And knows next to nothing about her own species or culture.
