Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Intent: To create a sub for the computer as it was recommended given the description of the spirit possessing the ship to sub it as an AI
Development Thread:

Manufacturer: Ancient Jedi
Model: Jedi Ghost
Affiliation: Ship
Modularity: New information
Production: Unique

Material:
  • Components
Strengths:
  • Jedi spirit
Weaknesses:
  • Can be overwhelmed with pain to the ship from damage
Description: Created on the ship, the jedi at the research facility when [member="Sorel Crieff"] and [member="Orihime Ike"] were In search of the next story. They were working on more things and following a holocron map discovered the facility of jedi research and jedi equipment that had been being worked on. One was a Mecho-organic vessel that they had been able to construct after meeting ship in the void. The playful survivor of his world gave them a small sample to see when they said that he wouldn't enjoy the games that they would be playing. With a small sample that was able to grow and be formed into their own organic bioship the jedi brought in the jedi knight Ramsey who had been hurt in battle against the sith. her body damaged and she was able to interface with the ship to pilot it.

After Ossus fell and the Cron system was destroyed the feeling in the force gave her a heart attack while she was interfaced with the ship piloting it. Her spirit going into the ship and possessing it. As the ship she has control of it and is able to control the bio components of it to adjust the ship for the people who are staying within her. Or she can reject others but she is not a real computer. She can't be hacked or sliced normally due to the nature of the system. The biomechanical nature of the ship requires a specialist in non traditional means of hacking. The core of the ship through this different interface is generally protected from harm. The easier methods is to work with the ship and trick it into doing what you want.

The ships personality is more childlike as after several thousand years alone her memory has faded a little and she comes off more like a petulant child who likes to play games with the crew and doesn't fully understand all of her capabilities within the ship but she still has some of her jedi traits. Wanting to protect life as she can fly around and will put priority on the life support systems or safety of the crew often overriding the one who is acting as captain to protect people and will jump to hyperspace. She has bonded with Sorel and Orihime taking their names and combining them to make her own unique name so they weren't just calling her ship... there are enough ships in the galaxy.

Hi [member="Matsu Ike"]! I will be reviewing this submission.

First a few general questions:
  • Is this basically a Force Ghost used as an AI to control a single ship?
  • If yes, does this have the ability to transfer to another ship or is it locked in to a particular ship?
  • Does this submission have the ability whatsoever to use the Force? Or is it now delegated solely to the command of the ship?
  • Am I interpreting this correctly that the Force Ghost is forming a symbiotic relationship with this mecho-organic ship?

Yes more or less the ghost has taken over the ship.
It cannot transfer.
No they cannot use the force.
Yes they have more or less become one with the ship.

As the ship is a bioship the normal tech aspect of hacking and slicing. I have the comics with ship somewhere around here but as I recall it wasn't able to be tampered with when Luke and Leia were on him and biotech in general was normally resistant to it with vong tech. I haven't read the 20 or so books in awhile but certain the biotech fought back against traditional attempts.

I would probably change the wording to something along the lines of that due to the biotic makeup of the ship hacking or otherwise intervening in the ship's operation is much more difficult and traditional methods of interfering with the ship's core is largely ineffective, but can be accomplished through non-traditional means and by highly trained experts. That would be balancing I think.
