Description: Built to bridge the gap between gunship and Starfighter, the Orar'galaar is an ideal fighter for bringing massive firepower to a battlefield. Boasting superior maneuverability as compared to most gunships, the Orar'galaar is a remarkably capable platform that offers abundant tactical flexibility to any pilot or commander skilled in its use. The fighter is capable of engaging both air and ground targets, but has gained notoriety for its devastating strafing runs. This is mostly because of the large particle beam rotary cannon on its nose. This fighter is a two-seater ship and the Astromech is loaded from the bottom of the vessel using a built-in lift. The port where the head of the Astromech emerges is covered by a retractable armor panel to protect the droid and improve the ship's aerodynamics.

The surprising agility of the Orar'galaar is attributed to three factors.
1. The most noticeable contributor is the overpowered repulsorlift array. Power supplied to the engines can be diverted to the repulsorlifts at any time to deliver massive lifting power on demand. This is known as 'hover mode' and it can be engaged at any time by simply pressing a button mounted to the engine throttle control.
2. The Fighter is very balanced in its construction, and the airframe is made from Mandalorian Steel using construction methods normally found gunships to produce a very durable airframe while keeping weight down. With the rotary cannon equipped the ship is almost perfectly balanced, being just a kilogram front-heavy.
3. One of designers specialized in the creation of trainer ships. Her input was invaluable to making the vessel very easy for pilots to understand and adapt to.

Development Thread: If necessary

Intent: To create an assault fighter capable of filling ground support roles.

Who Can Use This: Anyone who can acquire it.

Primary Source: Ra'gr Superiority Fighter

Summary of Modification: need to add that this fighter is a two-seater ship and that the Astromech is loaded from the bottom of the vessel using a built-in lift. The port where the head of the Astromech emerges is covered by a retractable armor panel to protect the droid and improve the ship's aerodynamics.
Reason for Modification: I'm an idiot. I didn't proof read carefully enough to notice that I never added the data.

Modification:
Minimum Crew: 1
Optimum Crew: 2 + Astromech Droid
Passenger Capacity: 1 pilot, 1 copilot, 1 astromech

Cargo Capacity: 75 Kilograms

I am not sure if my rating would be considered accurate but this is my first submission. I have given it a defensive rating of 12, on par with the Ra'gr from which this ship draws most of it's systems, and Armament Rating 14 because it is meant to be like an A-10 warhog that can VTOL around like an F-35(skip to 2:10). Close support would be the word.
