- Effective Range: Modified from the original version, this variant of the Nyax gives it a larger effective range. This is not to say the weapon is perfected and can now be wielded like a rapid fire sniper rifle, but it can now shoot accurately at distances comparable to most standard blaster rifles, such as the BTI-CC13.
- Rate of Fire: Single-shot, charged shot, three-shot burst, or fully automatic. Automatic fire exhausts 40-shot energy cell clip in four seconds. Charged shot exhausts energy clip in 8 shots.

Losing a limb to someone as gauche and unlikable as Jacen Cavill can be quite the eye-opening experience. It could be, or it could be used as an excuse to outfit one's self with a cybernetic arm that also doubles as an arm cannon. An arm cannon that shoots Ion disruptor shots, no less. For this, Adekos purchased from the best in the business- iBorg Prosthetic Augments. But there was something to be desired, mostly where effective range was concerned. Adekos was not a man who liked handling his business up close and personal. Doing that much had been the reason he lost an arm in the first place. So the range of a pistol, or a shotgun, or a sub-machine gun simply would not do.
So he got into contact with his old Rodian friend Ugoto Chivaro. From there, the unscrupulous little scientist made his adjustments. These adjustments were not very strenuous. Ugoto simply introduced a longer, more stabilized barrel to the Nyax Arm Cannon. This version of the Nyax Arm Cannon now features three distinguishable modes- concealment, short range, and long range. The short range mode is indistinguishable from the original Nyax Arm Cannon and features the same range restrictions. It takes four seconds to deploy from concealment into this mode.
The long range mode constitutes an extension of the barrel and further stabilization of the cannon. This mode takes seven seconds to deploy from concealment and three seconds to deploy from short range mode. This mode offers increased accuracy and effective range. The drawbacks here, in addition to the increased deployment time, would be the fact that the arm is now far bulkier and heavier than before.
It should be noted that a Nyax Arm Cannon is not capable of disintegrating its targets. Neither is this one.
