New Raid! Where are we going?

A quick poll on strawpoll for folks to decide where to raid next. There's three options, each has a brief explanation of what's there that we could go raid for. For a more in depth description of what we're going for, click the spoiler below.

The three targets are as follows:

Muunilist
  • A former holding of the Mandalorian clans, the planet is well known for being the powerhouse of the galactic credit. Raiding here could yield mounds of credits and access to some high profit bank accounts to slice into or sell the access data to the highest bidder. The planet is held by the Sith Ascendancy and we'd be up against local police/garrison forces and possibly Sith military along with potentially the Sith themselves.
Kamino
  • A planet known for its harsh, constant storms and the clone masters that inhabit the protected cities upon its surface. Kamino could yield a wealth of scientific information that could prove useful to the highest bidder or to our more technologically interested clans. In addition, scientific equipment and materials can easily be found ranging from machinery to biological samples, all of which more than likely has a use or market. The planet is currently owned by the Galactic Empire who consider the world their capital. We will likely face heavy resistance against whatever defenses they have currently garrisoned on the planet.
Cato Neimoidia
  • Known for its bridge cities and the wealth of its inhabitants, Cato Neimoidia is rich in both culture and valuables. While credits are likely to be found here, other valuables are just as likely. Ranging from artwork and sculptures to rare artifacts and fancy landspeeders, the sky's the limit for the prospective raider in the sense of personal wealth. The planet is currently owned by Commenor and we are liable to face garrisoned troops as well as any quick reaction force in the area.

It kinda is, though admittedly my statement had no information and was vastly over simplified.

The Mand'alor can state one thing or the other and call the clans to action for any reason, or no reason, but the clans reserve the right to say "no" and, generally, so long as their reasoning is sound then the only really lose face at worst. If the Mand'alor signs a treaty with, say, the Sith and a couple of clans have grudges against them or previous treaties/alignments with, say, the Jedi... they can easily say "no" and refuse to any agreements with the Sith. The Faction won't invade the Sith, but the clans can operate as desired, usually raiding Sith holdings or hiring on as mercenaries with the Jedi or other factions against the Sith.

For a more realistic example, take the Betna clan/this character's clan in this situation. Betna clan has no standing agreements with Commenor, the Sith Ascendancy, or the Galactic Empire and as such can and probably will freely raid any one of them. For argument's sake, let's say the Mand'alor has signed a treaty with many or most of the clans with Commenor. That's fine, the faction on its own won't invade or whatnot and the majority of the clans will leave Commenor alone. However, Betna clan and, hypothetically speaking, Ordo (tied to Betna by marriage) and Munin (tied together by friendship and honor on the battlefield) clans can opt to go raiding. Will the Mand'alor probably tell them to stop? Probably. Can they say no? Sure. And then we get into the gritty part of IC interclan politics.

So, essentially, the faction can forge alliances just as clans can, but the clans often have the ability to act independently when and where desired. There can be and often are consequences, but from personal experience, there usually aren't major issues.
