Description: The Necro spider utilizes a similar code that was installed into Darth Abyss’s Dream chambers. It has a programming that dictates full and total obedience to the Imperial Remnant. It may only take over a host once they are deceased. It reanimates the bodies by sending electrical pulses to the brain and from their the desired nerve ending. These droids identify friendlies through transponders embedded into a troopers armor. When the trooper falls the transponder turns off so that a droid may find his body. During the reanimation process it is not uncommon for a person to retain their full memories.

This is where the Abyss script comes into play. It gives the host an extreme sense of euphoria in serving the Imperial Remnant. It also uploads a new consciousness completely loyal to the Imperials. The droid does not reanimate any organ other than the brain and nerves. Due to this they have extremely high metabolisms that must be kept in constant check. Thus they are in constant state of great hunger, but no matter how much they feed the hunger never abates. A fail safe switch has been integrated into the device in the event they should malfunction. A fail safe that may also be activated by one [member="Darth Abyss"] allowing him complete control over the horde.

The droids are ran from a mother board that may be placed aboard ships or inner city control rooms. They have an effective transmitter range of 200 km. The mainframes have control of 1500 droid at any given time. The droids are susceptible to all sorts of Ion and EMP damage. Another easy way to kill the droid is the obvious head shot. If someone were able to gain access to the mainframe the droids could be sliced.

Really just the programming is relevant in the dev thread. Which is mentioned in the description. The programming brings the people back to life by uploading a new conciousness and overriding the old. The nanites are more of just a carrier for the program. [member="Haytham Kaze"]

I'd like you to expand on this submission's description and potential strengths / weaknesses.

Since you're making the Brain Worm into a droid, I'd like to see some reference point of a mainframe being present to monitor / control these things. Additionally, these central mainframes will have a limited capacity of droids they're able to control / as well as distance. I believe the size of a single city is fair, though not on the scale of Coruscant and Empress Teta of course.

You can also remove the dev thread you have linked, I don't believe its contents are relevant to this submission anymore.
