SPECIAL FEATURES

Knife

  • Anti-wear coating provides increased resistance against corrosion and galling

  • Upper crossguard is bent forward and can be used as a bottle opener

  • Ambidextrous grip

  • Clip point, false edge comes pre-sharpened

  • Balanced for throwing

  • Sawteeth on the backblade

  • Power cell can heat the blade for increased cutting power
Sheath

  • Retention clip that secures the knife against loss

  • Belt clip for attaching the knife to a belt

  • Drainage opening at the bottom
Strengths:

  • Hot stuff: At the press of a button, the power cell in the handle will heat up the blade to tremendous temperatures, dramatically increasing its cutting power. This allows the blade to melt otherwise sturdy materials the likes of durasteel, which puts it above and beyond the common knife in versatility – both in and out of combat.

  • Sneaky McSneakyface: The streamlined sheath can be worn on the inside or outside of the belt and is very light to boot. Due to the materials used, the blade will also slip past metal detectors with ease, making it perfect for sneaking a bit more oomph in with a concealed carry.
Weaknesses:

  • Hot stuff: The maximum recommended by Nadir is half a minute – keeping the heating function turned on any longer than that runs a serious risk of permanently destroying the blade, causing severe burns to the user’s hand, and other unpleasant consequences.
DESCRIPTION
There is no tool more reliable or versatile than the knife. From soldiers and mercenaries to assassins and bounty hunters – all carry some manner of blade. Either as a last resort or a primary weapon, it doesn’t matter in the end. For the operatives in the field, whatever that field may be, the blade must be of the topmost quality and construction, while also providing utility beyond simply ‘stabbing things’.

That’s not to say that the Nadir P-series Combat knife isn’t fantastically suited to stabbing things.

It simply means that like any other Nadir product, it offers so much more. Besides the exemplary standard of quality and materials used, the knife’s design alone is perfectly suited to the myriad unpredictable situations a criminal so often finds himself in. From being stranded on a wild moon after a crash, to having to fight his way out of an urban maze with his power cells spent and his gas canisters empty – the P-series is a match for any adversity.

Its crowning feature is the speed-heating ability that stems from the use of NT-1 in the blade. This allows the user to engage a heating option at the press of a button, which turns the knife into a white-hot instrument of doom. Flesh and sinew melt like butter; with some tenacity and perseverance, even durasteel gives way under the super-heated cuts – useful both for getting out of a pinch and in combat situations.

All in all, the P-series Combat knife is a well-rounded blade meant to serve as a loyal companion to any fighter out there in the field.
