BIOGRAPHY:
Xar’s parents were involved in the criminal underworld of Corellia. His mother and father also owned a farm that acted as a retreat getaway and sometimes a front for their activities. In a local turf war Xar’s father and pregnant wife were targeted for death by an opposing organization. His father was murdered on the streets of the capitol while simultaneously the rest of the family were slaughtered at the homestead.
In an incredibly unusual and grotesque way of coming into this world, Xar was released from his mother's womb sometime after she was hung from a tree on the Corellian family farm. Surviving the fall without any physical damage done to his body, possibly cushioned by the pool of blood beneath her body, Xar lay apparently dead until the gang his father was associated with, led by Hans Barka, arrived at the scene to discover the child. Hans's lover Shia (having previously lost her own child in this gang war) quickly scooped up the newborn infant into her arms and cradles him to life, surprising everyone around. Of course, several of the party members make observations of a possible curse that would fall upon them for taking this forsaken child, which becomes a reality with Shia death at the hand of a terrible disease and ultimately Han's own undoing.
Because of the event of how Xar was born, this event foreshadows his entire life: bloodstained and with many disturbing things to come his way. It could be that he was also born from such an unusual "death" that his desire to kill others in combat can be traced here.
Xar’s life was filled with violence under the employ of many warlords, gangsters and righteous governments all vying for power at the costs of the living. But death dealing was what this man was bread for and it was a life he only knew. His longest and most loyal employ was for a Crime Lord known as Mr Kinasis. But like most in this lifestyle his life ended violently leaving a infant daughter orphaned and under the care of his most loyal Lieutenants who took it upon themselves to raise the girl as if she was their own flesh and blood.
