@Mention not working

Every time I use it, it just comes up as text...

When I do the alternate way, with typing [member='Insert Name'], I still get the same thing.

When I go to more reply options I don't have the @mention option, but why would you need to use that function? Quick replies have all the same tools except "post options" which aren't used and can be accessed elsewhere on the page sometimes

Some writers have odd spaces in their name which can throw it off.

Sometimes I've noticed it can appear buggy if your inserting a mention and a period comes right after it, I've learned stuff like that isn't a permanent bug rather a chronic one that sometimes occurs. Also I know some writers have odd spaces as Valiens said, or they have accents over letters in their name making it harder to mention them.
