Meeting with a Master. (Daella and Talon)

@[member="Daella Apparine"]

OSSUS ACADEMY

Talon was just finishing control training with some younglings. A broad smile split his light skinned face and a slight green tinge reached his cheeks as he chuckled at the vibrant youths. It was such a delight after being lost in the darkness to now have the privilege of guiding others in the light.

He watched as they formed a small line and left for their rooms. Likely as anything his fellow instructor Kira would make the rounds and check on them before they slept but Talon had a few things to do yet.

He left the room and began to head for the academy steps he needed to meditate before he too rested and he found the jungles to be a great boon to his communing with the force.

When @[member="Talon Vosra"] would have reached the steps, Daella would have been standing at the base of them. She looked out into the jungle. Doing nothing but watching, Daella would remain silent and unmoving until Talon either approached her with conversation or attempted to continue into the jungle without addressing her.

The light was fading as Talon reached the steps to find Jedi Master Apparine standing at their base and staring out into the Jungle. The Zelosian slowly made his way down the steps looking out among the various forms flora. The world had been through a great deal and had taken many forms over its history. Ossus had gone from verdant landscapes to barren waste and back. However its beauty held dangers the likes of which few likely considered. Not long ago the Sith and had occupied this place and though they were driven away Talon knew they were far from destroyed. He had been of their number once and the regret of his former life and how he had gone astray into the darkness haunted him still. He had come to the Jedi seeking justice. He had offered himself willingly and though he had expected death, they had given him a chance at redemption.

He approached the Master whom he had not yet met in person before and stopped to look out at the Jungle. Nearby just before the tree line was the small area where he liked to meditate. His emerald eyes scanned from left to right and back. The air was still and thick this close to the jungles and the sounds of animals could be heard somewhere within. He stood beside the Master for some time with his hands at his sides. Had he been with one of his peers he likely would have told some joke or other, but he could feel seriousness in the space between them. Perhaps, it was the set of her shoulders or the silence, or perhaps he was just nervous to be in the blond Master’s company.

He thought of what he should say. He had already made mistakes on his road to the light and since being accepted as a Jedi, he had taken pains to reform the flaws in his personality. His recent attachment had been ended and he was trying diligently to prove his determination to stand up for the Jedi cause. Finally, during his recent capture and torture by the Sith Lord Vulcanus he had done his best to resist the pull of the Darkside. He continued to look straight ahead and began probing the Jungle before them with the force.

“Master Apparine.” He said his voice calm yet distant as he searched the tree line with the force. “Good evening.”

Turning to @[member="Talon Vosra"], Daella replied with, “Hello.

Her eyes remained on the Zelosian for several moments. She kept her thoughts private.

After some time, Daella spoke out and asked Talon, “Knight Vosra, correct? I’ve heard of you.

((Sorry for the late reply. Been busy with school.))

"Yes Master Apparine." He said simply, "Knight Vosra, Ossus Academy instructor."

He felt her eyes on him and kept his eyes scanning the Jungle ahead. He didn't bother to mention the rest of his history. She was on the council and he had stood trial the records would have been at her disposal. Seeing nothing and with darkness approaching he stepped toward the jungle.
