Meeting of the Minds

Astria
10:23

A scruffy pair of leather, heeled and knee-high boots clicked against the metal grates beneath them. The grates formed the floor of the docking bay and made it easy for one to simply look down and see the array of wires that ran beneath the floor that spread out to reach across the entire of the spaceport. In addition to the muffled sound of the boots, a sharp tap would echo off of the dull metal walls as the tip of a metal cane would be brought into contact with the flooring. Shortly after the boots had crossed the threshold, the air within the docking bay way full of taps and clicks.

The being wearing the boots made a calm and steady, if slow, progression towards the ship that populated that particular bay. Looming up above the being, casting them in a shadow formed by the artificial lighting that hung above their head, the ship that they were approaching sat obviously in the center of the bay. Painted a simple grey colour, the ship held a practical air around it. No obnoxious or ostentatious colour scheme decorated the ship, the ship looked smart and practical, something that Dyxra'a could easily respect. Written along the side of the heavy cruiser were the words Queen Bee, the name of the ship.

Stopping at the base off of the boarding ramp, ignoring the combat droids serving as guards that surrounded her, the figure removed a sleek datapad from a pocket of the dark brown, leather trench coat that hung from her shoulders and reached down to her knees. Skimming her eyes over the screen, the woman replaced the datapad after committing the directions to a specific room aboard the Queen Bee that the datapad held.

Lifting her face, the interior lighting of the ship washed over her features and dashed the shadows that the black stetson hat, that was perched atop the figure head, cast. Her face was lined in greed scales of varying shades depending where on her skin they were set and cold, steel blue eyes were set in between high cheek bones and prominent ridges. Reaching up with a hand encased in a glove made out of black lace, the woman, a member of the Falleen species, removed the stetson from her head, revealing three crests that ran along her skull.

The woman was wearing a white shirt that had baggy sleeves and a red design sown beneath the shoulders. The shirt was tucked into a pair of dark navy jeans, which were, themselves, tucked into her boots. Wrapped around her neck was a simple, thin black tie. On top of the shirt, she wore a light brown, patterned waistcoat. Hanging from the lapel of the waistcoat by a short, gold chain was a small golden pocket watch which had the woman's name, Dyxra'a Khoez, engraved into it. Dyxra'a herself was a small woman, barely five feet, with a slim build.

Boarding the Queen Bee, resuming her steady strides, Dyxra'a began to make her way towards the meeting she was to attend. She had recently joined a new and upcoming criminal organisation, the Black Tie Syndicate, and was now meeting with one of the heads of the Syndicate, Miss Blonde. No one in the Syndicate went by their given name, assuming a title instead; Dyxra'a's own was Serpent.

Stopping at the door the directions sent to her had lead her to, Dyxra'a raised her left hand to knock the head of her cane against the door.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
[member="Dyxra'a"]

Miss Blonde was a business woman from nine to five, one that delved in illegal affairs but a business woman non the less. So that meant whatever crimes she committed were for the sake of building her criminal empire, she didn't really enjoy killing people when she didn't have to and enjoyed working with other criminal syndicates rather than simply moving in and murdering everyone. But in this case there were wicked men that needed killing, and for the first time in a very long while she was going to be the righteous hand to deliver their penance.

"Come in." Miss Blonde said pressing a button on her desk to reveal herself.

Miss Blonde's office was rather decorated compared to the rest of the ship, there were pieces of fine art on the walls along with an exquisite red wallpaper that matched perfectly with her medium blonde hair. The entire room seemed very home like and almost like it wasn't a part of the Queen Bee.

"I'm just going over the job." Blonde set down a datapad on her desk and sighed.

An entire envoy from the black ties murdered, blown away and tortured to death just like that. Poof, gone. These things believe it or not, didn't happen all that often in the criminal world. Business was business all around and normally you don't find savages like this, especially on a planet as refined as Atrisia. But blonde was going to make sure that when you messed with the syndicate there was no place in this galaxy that could hide you from her wrath.

"I don't believe you've been fully briefed yet. Please, sit and we can discuss the near future." Blonde said with a sweet smile.
