SPECIAL FEATURES
- A set of Mandalorian vambraces is a powerful weapons suite, featuring, together, a repulsor, grappling line, paralyzing darts, a shield emitter, paired blaster barrels, and a flamethrower.
- Anti-Force-User: Mandalorian vambraces were specifically designed to target Force-users. The unorthodox weapons they contain, namely a flamethrower and repulsor, are difficult for even Force-users to combat.
- Deployable Shield (High Resistances to Blasters and Lightsabers): The shield emitter on a Mandalorian vambrace set negates much of the need for beskar construction. The shield, while small, can block most small arms fire, and, being made of energy, lightsabers as well.
- Unhindering: Mandalorian vambraces are small and light, making them easy to wield and carry.
- Technology Dependent (EMP Weakness): Mandalorian vambraces depend on technology to be effective. They are therefore vulnerable to EMP blasts.
- Kinetic Vulnerability: A Mandalorian vambrace set’s personal shield cannot block purely kinetic attacks, such as slugthrower rounds. For these, it must depend only on its durasteel construction.
- Thin Armor: In order to be light and still pack a punch, the actual durasteel plating of Mandalorian vambraces is thin, and provides little real protection.
Mandalorian vambraces were developed by Mandalorians following the Mandalorian-Jedi Wars for the purpose of combating Force-users, specifically Jedi. The vambraces contain several forms of weaponry capable of striking at all ranges, and all activated by the push of a button. This lends a great amount of adaptability, versatility, and speed to keep Force-users on their toes. The flamethrower and repulsor especially are difficult to counter with the Force or a lightsaber. To top it all off the vambraces are light and small, an easy addition to any Mandalorian’s kit.
