Strengths:

DESCRIPTION

Designed as a smaller scale successor weapon to the MT-165 this rotating cannon utilizes multiple focusing crystals allowing the weapon to put out what amounts to a continuous beam of kyber-focused laser fire.

The engineers at MandalArms found with the damage outputs and ranges they wanted, too much stress was put on the kyber crystals. Though they found the most efficient and durable shape, they still did not last battle testing. Then a rotating system was devised, giving each crystal only a fraction of a second of stress, and then a whole second to cool down. This provides the weapon with the needed punch and range, while maintaining reliability.

Because of the powerful nature of this weapon, it must be mounted on a specially designed craft, such as the God'buir-class fighter for which it was designed. Also it must be allowed to cooldown post firing, and allow its capacitors to recharge.

So this will need to be added to weaknesses.

Also, Is it my understanding that only one of these will be implemented per starfighter? I need this to be the case, because more than one seems too powerful for just starfighters.
