Le Rules As Stated By Voracitos
1.) This Tournament will be judged upon a writers skill, and the events that take place IC. Example: A contestant may write exceptionally, but if they roleplay their character as losing, it wouldn't make sense for them to win. Equally, if there a contestant whose writing could use improvement, and makes it seem they are one of the top dogs, it wouldn't make OOC sense for them to win if there are superior story tellers around who could make an equal claim to their place as a top dog.
2.) Upon the start of the tournament, contestants will have 48 hours to make their introductory post. Once they have made their introductory post, writers will have 36 hours to reply depending on extenuating circumstance (for example, if the Tournament flops and no one else replies after your introductory post, you will not be penalized).
3.) Self-bidding is allowed, though not encouraged. You're already getting a decent reward, trinkets shouldn't be an object for you. To bid, you vote for the character(s) currently in that bracket that you believe you will win. The voters who guessed correctly the victor(s) of the round will all be rewarded, but a bonus prize will be auctioned off of those voters, with non-monetary offers being favored over credits.
4.) Lethal force is allowed and encouraged! Those below the rank of Dark Lord who die after a good effort of combat, will even be brought back and augmented if they wish! Extra equipment beyond the force and lightsabers must have already been approved by Darth Voracitos before the beginning of the Tournament. Illegal use of equipment not already approved may face strict penalization and possibly disqualification OOC (up to the GM judging the encounter). Additional rules concerning the final match up between the Victors of Round One will be posted as it comes closer.
