IC Hierarchy:
The Cartel hierarchy rests on a mixture of a classical criminal mafia-like syndicate and the traditional roots of the ancient Hutt Empire.
Might makes right to a certain degree at the same time as certain roles not are to be questioned at all. At the top of the food chain rests the Supreme Mogul calling upon vague and loose relation with the ancient Hutt Emperor.
As the hutts are divided into a myriad of clans (or families) they squabble among themselves and have done so to such a great length that they now have lost much of their former power. With this, the rebirth of the Hutt Cartel has declared for the Kajdic tradition to be put to use. In order to maintain an unity among the Kajidics the Cartel empower the the Hutt grand council who when necessary is called upon to settle internal disputes. It is supposed to be a barrier between the hutts not allowing hutt interest overall be damaged any further.
The Cartel might be lead by the Hutts themselvesd but a majority of its members are non-hutts. The various members hold various positions within the cartel, from able bounty hunters to crime lords with the backing fo the Cartel. Some of these non-hutts hold vast influence in the Cartel and are often necessary to maintain relation with all the species out there loathing the hutts.
IC Ranks:
Supreme mogul - The Cartel ruler.
Hutt Elder - a Hutt who has proven himself to the Cartel is called an Elder and is considered a trusted and powerful member of the Cartels inner circle.
Major Domo - A non-hutt leader in the Cartel. Although never allowed into the hutt council the major domo (sometimes refered to as Hutt councilor) acts as the Hutts voice and are often the official faces/representatives of the Cartel.
Hutt lieutenant - The Hutt Lieutenant is a member in charge of a certain operation within the Cartel. This can vary from anything such as being a drug lord to managing a mining facility in the name of the hutts.
Hutt Enforcer - a trusted employee of the Cartel, with a certain amount of influence over Cartel reasources.
Hutt contractor - The cartel relies heavily upon independent contractos to carry out their work. These contractors are free to seek their payment elsewhere as long as they are not working for the direct Cartel opposition.
Hutt associate - A hutt who has invited a guest or a bussiness partner to the Cartel has declared that this person is to be trusted inside the hutt courts. It is generally assumed that these people are here to profit on their own and the hutts see no reason why not to aid them, as long as due respect and payback is beneficial. It is considered extremely ill behavour to kill or harm such a person without the acceptance of the Hutts, although there are not guaranties and it does happen that competative associates kill one another without the Hutts interfering, all depending on how the outcome would affect the Cartels own bussiness...
Hutt slave - The slaves of the Hutt are numerous. Their roles vary and tthere are even position amongst the slaves themselves. With a few exceptions the slaves are the lowest standing of any in the Hutt Cartel

Who can join?
Apart from the Cartel being governed by the race Hutts - The cartel has no strict organisational limit to races or professions. Anybody, from the aspiring bounty hunter to the smuggler, Space pirate or crime lord is welcome to shape their corner of the cartel. In one way or the other the cartel members answer to the cartel hierarchy and thus ultimately the Hutts. So you need to consider just how your character ends up with loyalties to the cartel. Perhaps a debt, a spice addict, play for power is the reason. If you Dream it up we can help each other to shape each others characters.

A note on force users - this is not primarily a force user faction. Force users may apply and take part of the cartel with the same roles as others have. This could be Bounty hunters, assassins or what not, but we have no organised FU training session or the like. Players interested in forming a sub-faction with force users loyal to the cartel are welcome to do so. Just bear in mind that it is not the prime concern of the cartel and I woud like to OOC point out to force users to give some thought into why your character is interested in joining.

Requested Planets:
Sriluur (Capital), Kintan, Kessel

Description:
The Hutt Cartel is an in most eyes illegal organisation striving to spread the influence of the Hutt criminal empire across the galaxy. The Cartel works tirelessly to wrest the control of underworld activites such as spice trading, illegal weapons, slavery and so forth. To the hutts themselves this is merely a mean to an end. The Cartel overall goal is to reach the status of the long lost Hutt empire and through that to gain power and wealth over all other races.
This ambitious goal can sometimes be more or less obvious when traversing various hutt courts with connections to the Cartel.
Areas controlled by the Cartel is enforcing very questionable Hutt laws more or less executed to protect Hutt investments then to provide Justice for the common man.
While the Cartels interest are widely spread it struggles with the fact that it lost most of its traditional holdings. This has forced it to regroup and refocus on a new centre in space where the hutts most loyal slave races resides. From here the cartel manages their operations constantly trying to see their Cartel rise from the ashes once more.

The Pitch:
Fore most because the hutt cartel is one of the classical canon organisations everyone loves to hate! We would provide the community with the opportunity to dwell into the canon setting of the hutts and bring the leverage it deserve. Our focus on the criminal world will spread to a political galaxy wide agenda as we go major with the intent of having the hutts strive toward controlling a part of the space where criminal activites are encouraged. The hope is also to bring a new aspect into play with the hutts complicated society allowing for intrigues and powergames in between hutt rivals, but still under the Cartel umbrella, thus having someone to make them stand down when things go to far.
We bring a RP canon setting athmospehere currently not playing a major role in chaos and we belive it is an appreciated athmosphere by many players, cartel members or not.

I agree with this. We already have more than our fair share of Jedi/Sith factions along with Mandalorians and the Techno Union, and that's just counting factions with ties to canon organisations.

However, what I would like to see in your application is who the Hutt Cartel is catering to. Are FU's allowed to join? Are you a wholly NFU faction? Are you hostile to Jedi? Are you hostile to Sith?

Another thing I wanted to bring up is this:

First off, I'm assuming you're referring to Gamorr. Second, I don't see it on the map, at least not in the vicinity of Sriluur/Kintan. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction?

Hey,

Thanks for the feedback!

Alright, I added a "Who can join?" part of the submission. It is a bit hard to draw the line for recruits in an organisation like this but hopefully I gave future prospects a pointer in the right direction.

About Gamorr, yes this is my bad. I totaly missed that it was not on the map. And to be honest I struggled a bit with that planet when selecting it. It is a warrior planet and not to copy the Red Ravens prime interest I figured we would be a more brutal organisation. However - to make things easier I think it would be much easier to change the third choice - and that would fall on Kessel instead which have a nice and logical connection with the cartel interests, we will bring it back to a spice mining, slave driven chaotic World for sure. And its Close by to Sriluur and Kintan.

Once we are on the move we can get back to Gamorr with better research and see how it would fare.

Hows that?
