DESCRIPTION

Because what droid army is complete without a series of droid walkers to back it up? Hegemonic Automaton pondered this question for many days, before finally deciding to begin production of the Mehrunes-Series of Vehicular Droids.

As with most light walkers, the M1 is lightly armed and armored. It is best suited for anti-personnel and crowd control operations. Dura-Armor plates and molytex coating grant the droid increased protection from most small-arms fire, while a sturdy durasteel skeleton gives it extra support. As with all light walkers, concentrated fire from heavier blaster cannons and explosive weapons will quickly destroy it. The M1 is also equipped with an Ionization Buffer to prevent untimely deactivation from Ion and EMP weaponry.

There are several options for the weapons loadout of the M1. For its primary weapons, the M1 can either tote repeating blasters or slugthrower autocannons. The former performs better against lightly armored targets and swaths of infantry, while the latter is more useful against other light vehicles and enemy emplacements. Then there is either the choice between a rapid fire grenade launcher or a flame projector. The grenade launcher can be fitted with a wide variety of grenades and is really useful for all situations. The flame projector, on the other hand, is great for dealing with Force Users, large groups of close proximity infantry, and forests that just really need to be removed from the equation.

Unlike other droids that aren't worth purchasing, the M1 comes equipped with the second product in the line of Julianos Series Droid Brains. The J2 Droid Brain allows it greater intelligence than other droids of its type and gives it greater reaction speed and tactical thinking. A high-quality NeuroSaav Targeting System ensures it will only rarely miss something it takes meaningful aim at. A Scanner and a Sensorscope allow it to detect a great deal of things, and finally a gyroscopic stabilizer grants it greater agility and strength. But it is a six legged walker, so obviously not that much agility.

Due to the increased quality of the J2 Droid Brain, the M1 can develop sapience if left in an active state for too long. Initial tests show that M1s with free will display what can only be described as dragon-esque behavior. That is, they tend to try and locate secluded areas to shelter in (preferably caves) and then actively seek out valuables to fill these lairs with. Different M1s attribute value to different items. It is unknown what parameters cause this behavior. Never the less, M1s should be memory-wiped after every engagement they participate in to prevent this form of rampancy from occurring.

Hegemonic Automaton is not responsible for the actions of M1 Light Walkers that achieve sapience.

Hey, ok so my judgement here is going to be to remove the dura-armor since it sounds rather powerful to be placed on a mass produced unit please? Or that you perform a dev thread in which this armor is properly applied to the design.
