BIOGRAPHY:
Hailing from the Suarbi System, Lysander's veins carry the blood of a forgotten line whose resurgence of memory causes shadows to quake. When the Gulag Plague wrought its devastation, many things were lost to time. But Lysander discovered through careful study of his family history that a Jensaarai warrior was his ancestor. The powerful blood coursed in him. And he would not be denied its heritage. The son of a murdered merchant, Lysander inherited his father's business at the age of twenty. He had had plans to seek out training in the Force, for he had discovered his sensitivity on his own. However, the method of his father's death distracted him for a great many years.

His father and mother had been killed by pirates that plagued the Suarbi system It was always a risk his father ran, since he was a merchant, but fate had slipped. Lysander took over, believing it his destiny to right the Suarbi system and restore justice. He expanded his father's trade and broadened the horizons. He began heavily arming his merchant vessels and hiring mercenaries. Not to merely defend against the pirates, but to launch an entire counter offensive. Using the merchant vessels, Lysander filled them with the mercenaries. The unsuspecting pirates were slaughtered when they boarded and their ships taken in victory. The process continued for some time, as Lysander left no survivors. When the pirates finally did discover what was going on, they banded together in order to crush Lysander. But by then it was already too late.

With now veteran mercantilist soldiers and a battalion of Herglic mercenaries from Giju, Lysander crushed the pirates beneath his heel. It had taken him six years. With peace at last restored to the system, Lysander declared himself Lord Protector and established the "Lord Protector" of his newly created Principality of Suarbi. Though, of course, the title was more or less that of king. The people loved him, despite the grumblings of other officials. He was a brilliant speechgiver and a charismatic individual.

Taking respite from his actions on Suarbi, Lysander set forth to accomplish his dream and joined the Jedi order. Hion the Herglic, commander of the Herglic mercenaries as well as a merchant himself, became steadfast friends with Lysander during this time and accompanied Lysander to Coruscant. During the six year war he had waged with the pirates, Lysander had received combat training from a variety of mercenaries and practiced diligently in martial skills. So it was that Lysander of Suarbi came to Coruscant. Lord of a small principality. Barely noticed by any. Yet, a great man in his heart. Much work needed to be done to render him a true Jedi. Much indeed.

After a short tenure with the Jedi, Lysander came to regard them as too hindered by bureaucracy. So, he joined the Omega Protectorate, despite misgivings about their mercenary beginnings, and tried to recreate the Jensaarai order. Unfortunately, this proved less than effective and he soon turned to another, pre-established organization known as the Templars, while he still claimed the title of Saarai-Kaar.
